We happened to see this place one evening after leaving HEB and figured we'd give it a try one day. Unfortunately, we didn't do any research before going on a Friday during happy hour. Immediately upon arrival, we were asked if we had a reservation. The restaurant was practically "full" and the bar was packed, but there were several empty tables that were reserved. We were given the option to be seated on the patio and waited an half hour before being seated. I was a little disappointed because some people after us were offered wait time on standard/bar seating. But I digress. The patio area had direct sunlight for that time of day. Several customers were attempting to shade their eyes/face using various items. I'm guessing someone inside complained about the sunlight and a huge umbrella was used to cover the window. It would have been nice if something like that was offered to the patio guests. We ordered from the happy hour menu: Steak Skewers and Loaded Mashed Potato Balls. For drinks they provided complimentary water and we ordered a whiskey sour and the Tropical Thunder from the happy hour menu as well. Everything was good. We're considering returning for dinner eventually but will keep in mind that we need to make a reservation.

Mother's day was a scam. $65 for a limited menu and that didn't include drinks. We were not allowed to dish ourselves and made my family and I feel guilty asking for more. Full drink menu and semi okay service. Slow loading the food and employees could've had smiles on their faces. Love this place normally but today was a bust.

We went to Jonathan's the Rub in Bridgeland last minute with our neighbors (party of 6) yesterday. Since it was last minute, there were no reservations available, but we arrived early and sat in the bar as there are 2 larger tables. There is a little flaw in planning the space because half our party had the sun directly in their eyes for about an hour. There was no way to shade the offending windows (door? I'm not sure but some windows had shades) We ate almost completely off the happy hour menu, trying bites of everything. Everything we had was delicious-both specialty drinks and food. The prices were a bit high and while they were trying to make it easy and just have all the food for $8 each-it was inconsistent. For example, the ceviche portion was big enough for 2-3 people for $8, but the bruschetta was just one small slice of bread for $8. Again-everything we tried was very tasty. We ended our night sharing 2 pieces of cheesecake to celebrate a birthday. It was also delicious! The service was good-sometimes the drinks were a little slow but it's a new restaurant and I think that will work out in time. Overall it was a good experience and we'll make a reservation to try the main dining room next time!

This was our 1st time at this location. The atmosphere has a "date night" vibe. Our server was super attentive (can't recall his name, unfortunately). We enjoyed delicious wine and a cocktail before dinner. I absolutely loved my Waldorf Chicken Salad and my husband enjoyed his Denver Roast. We ordered desserts to finish our evening. Everything was perfect! We'll definitely be going back to try other things on their menu!

We went to celebrate our anniversary! Our server had great recommendations and we enjoyed everything we ordered. We went during the day but our booth still felt romantic.

I'm so happy Jonathan's The Rub has made it to Bridgeland! I've been wanting to try their food and finally got the chance to. The interior decor is lovely inside. Everything is clean and aesthetically pleasing! For our appetizers we ordered the Sweet Chili Shrimp and Maryland Crab Cakes. The shrimp really surprised me, I was not expecting them to be so big! When I saw the size I thought they were gonna be full of breading but no, they were large shrimp. The sweet chili sauce is good but very sweet. I would order them again. As for the crab cakes, those were my mom's pick and she wasn't a fan. It tasted like a crab burger. It was a lot of breading and the crab was mixed too much and there wasn't much flavor to them. We also decided to order a small caesar salad to share and we somewhat had an issue with our salad but it was handled. The first salad we received had so much dressing on it. Some people might enjoy that but it was too much for our liking. Our server even noticed it was more than it should've been on there and he got us a new one with no problems. As for the taste it was good and I can tell it was homemade but I don't know it was very heavily mayo based. It was too much of something yet still missing something but I don't know what. I feel like many people would enjoy this salad though so I would still recommend it. For my meal I went with the Double Smashed Burger. The burger was flavorful, juicy and cheesy. Those grilled onions set it off. It was delicious. My only complaint would probably be the sweet bun, i'd prefer one that's not sweet but I know sweet buns are popular with burgers so I don't mind especially since it was so good. I can't forget about the hand cut fries. Those were delicious as well. If there's anything I can recommend is this meal. You can't go wrong with a juicy burger and fries. Hopefully I'll return soon and update my review with a better experience! I still want to try more of their menu items! As for service, my server was pretty busy so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as it's valentines weekend. Thankfully there wasn't a wait when my mom and I arrived at around 4 PM on a Friday but the crowd does pick up so i'd suggest coming early or to RSVP!

Entrance is nice yet I notice they won't have space for pick up orders...

Bar! Young bartenders - please be mindful of either washing your hands after rubbing your nose & putting fingers in mouth when listening to others, etc OR build the discipline to keep hands off your face when making Drinks. Especially the "charcuterie" style set up you have to dress drinks - you can't expect us to be ok with you rubbing your face before sticking sprigs and orange slices... in our drinks. You're friendly and make great drinks otherwise.

The bad: The chili was weird, like it had a weird metallic taste, that then turned into a lingering spice. The spicy factor wasn't the problem, it was the weird taste. The queso wasn't queso. It was like a slightly heated cream cheese type mixture. So more of a cream cheese thick dip than a queso. They charged me $3-$4 for 3 bites of Mac and cheese (see photo)! Also, the breakfast I ordered was $14 and had dry French toast, way overcooked scrambled eggs, which became like egg nuggets and 2 skinny pieces of bacon, that I asked for crispy, but tasted burnt. The good: The Pulled Pork Sandwich was the star of the whole show. It has the Mac and cheese on top and we ended up ordering 2 to go. The drinks were so tasty and well made. Normal cocktail prices, but delicious every time. Our waiter/bartender was so nice and kind. Overall when food is concerned, would never go back. But if I wanted a good espresso martini or old fashioned and was in the area... I'd stop in.

This spot is small and new so not that many customers, but we were still greeted with lots of love and kindness, especially our waitress she was so nice and patient with us. We got started with the cheese fries to snack on and sadly I didn't get a picture because they looked so good and they were so good and crispy and super cheesy. Now for the food we all ordered wings and a classic burger, the burger was juicy and flavorful which caught me by surprise. The wings were huge nothing compared to the small wings at wingstop, but I was kinda disappointed the mango habanero was not spicy or had any flavor to what mango habanero should taste like. We had asked for spicy lemon pepper but it wasn't on the menu but the waitress told us to not worry they will make it work, but when we got to try them it was a whole different flavor it was sweet and not even spicy or lemony which was confusing but we still ate them hahah, I'll just know next time I'll stick to a flavor I know, now the fries omg they were one of the best fries I've tried, so crispy and seasoned I was just munching on the fries. Overall the ambiance was chill and quiet waitress was lovely, the food well it's good but the flavors is what threw me off but I will definitely be back for a burger some good fries and a chill lunch spot to just hang out.

"Crispy Onion Rings + Classic Comfort Food" 02-06-26…read more This place came highly recommended by a coworker, and I must say, it was worth the risk of trying something new. My husband and I came for an early Friday evening dinner, and we were genuinely impressed. Customer service was good, not over the top, but definitely decent and pleasant. The atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. They played a nice mix of music (blues, soul, Tejano, light rock, country, and more) at a mid-volume on the overhead speakers. There were also mounted flat-screens, but they weren't turned on, which I actually didn't mind. One of the coolest perks is the self-serve ice cream station, and the ice cream is delicious. It has that old-fashioned, rich vanilla flavor, like the 1950s when food tasted much better. On top of that, although not self-serve, they also have a "Shakes & Malts and Warm Cookies" station, which is such a fun touch. The dining area is large with plenty of seating options, (booths and tables), and everything looked clean and tidy. They also have a self-serve beverage station that was clean and well-stocked. Now for the best part: the food! Just a heads-up, this place believes in large portion sizes, and I'm not mad at it! I ordered the Mississippi Catfish Platter, and it was loaded. It came with 4 large catfish pieces, Texas toast, onion rings, and two sides. I chose the creamy whipped potatoes and coleslaw. My husband ordered the Mississippi Catfish with fried shrimp and French fries, and his plate also came with Texas toast and onion rings. I tasted one of his shrimp and it was delectable! OMG! My only complaint is that the fish could have been fried a little crispier with a little crunch to it. It was just too soft for my liking. Food Ratings: Mississippi Catfish Platter -- 4/5: Delicious flavor, but it wasn't crispy/crunchy--more soft than I expected Shrimp & Catfish Platter -- 4/5 Mia's Queso Dip -- 3/5 Mashed Potatoes -- 5/5: Thick consistency but still creamy Onion Rings -- 5/5: Cooked to perfection--crispy and crunchy Coleslaw -- 3/5: Not my favorite. It had more of a vinaigrette vibe, and I prefer a mayo-based, tangy slaw French Fries -- 3/5: Served hot, but nothing special Overall, I highly recommend Mia's Table if you're looking for simple comfort food without all the fancy extras. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a long work week or for those lazy nights when you just don't feel like cooking.

A True Taste of the Deep South Right Here in Texas! I was…read morecraving some real Southern comfort food and the brand new Bojangles delivered in the best way possible. This place brings authentic Deep South flavors and hospitality straight to Texas, and every single bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from down South. The signature chicken tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and seasoned to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere. Paired with their seasoned dirty rice, their fluffy, buttery biscuits and perfectly seasoned french fries, it was a match made in heaven. I also had to try the famous Bo Berry biscuit, and it did not disappoint, warm, sweet, bursting with blueberries and that classic glaze that makes it impossible to stop at just one. Of course, no Southern meal is complete without a tall cup of sweet tea, and theirs was exactly what I hoped for: strong, refreshing, and perfectly sweetened like grandma made it. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and full of flavor, and the whole experience felt like a warm Southern welcome. If you're looking for that genuine Deep South taste without leaving Texas, Streets Chicken is the spot. Highly recommend. ! I'll definitely be back for more! Rod Gray Cypress, TX

My wife and I were sharing and she settled on the Steak Biscuit breakfast sandwich because she'd heard it tastes like the old Grandy's steak biscuit (I don't remember ever eating at Grandy's). We ordered on the app and picked up in the drive thru. The attendant was friendly and told us to pull up to the stop sign to wait for fresh food. The Steak Biscuit and Bo-Tato Rounds came out hot. I liked the biscuit, but the steak was too thin and got lost. My wife said, "It kind of tastes like Grandy's, but Grandy's was better," it has to have been 40 years since she's eaten there. The real star for me was the Bo-Tato Rounds! I would go back just for those. They were hot, flaky and just greasy enough to have that forbidden "it's bad for you" tater bliss!
