    Renee's Special

Came in on a Saturday afternoon expecting a long wait and was shocked to be seated almost immediately. Service was just okay. Not rude, but not exactly warm either. Felt like the staff was bracing for a rush the whole time. Food came out super fast though, which was a win. I got the Renee Special (half almond chicken salad, clam chowder, and a Caesar) and it's honestly a solid deal. The highlight? Being asked by the plate server if I wanted freshly grated pepper. Small touch, but it made me smile. Overall, not bad at all. And honestly, having a Cheesecake Factory closer to home is definitely a plus.

We love Cheesecake Factory so we were excited that one opened in Cypress. We had a full day of sports tournament and were celebrating a big win as well as a birthday. We did make a reservation so we were seated right away when we arrived. One of my son's favorite thing about Cheesecake Factory is the bread so we were surprised when our waiter came and introduced himsslf and the first thing he said is "We have no bread". Disappointed, we ordered an appetizer-Parmesan Truffle fries and the waiter said "I don't think we have that either". He went to check and came back and said that they did have the fries after all. Then we placed our meal order-my husband ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl. Guess what? They didn't have that either. Ok-Cheesecake Factory has a huge menu-but what are the chances that they didn't have the first 3 things we wanted? In the end-the fries came out and we enjoyed them. Then bread magically appeared so we ate that too. Our meals arrived. I had Skinnylicious steak medallions, which I've had before. Very tasty and doesn't taste like a healthy item. My husband had the Seared Tuna Tataki Salad, which he enjoyed. My son had the Mac and Cheeseburger, also an old favorite, which was great. We shared a piece of cheesecake and a free tiny birthday Sundae. Which we couldn't finish because we had so much food. Everything turned out very good and despite the ordering hiccup we had a good meal and enjoyable celebration.

I love the Cheesecake Factory! However, on this rainy Sunday evening. It was meh. It was more so the atmosphere that was the issue. Overly crowded, and wet floors from all the rain. Made the atmosphere somewhat uncomfortable. I did not get any brown rye bread until it was time to pack up my dinner. I was told that they kept running out. I stayed persistent and eventually received it packed with butter. I will return to this restaurant, as I believe it was just a bad day for them. I would definitely like to give an updated review. Our server did the best she could to keep up with demand. So, I made it a point to tip her well. I highly recommend going during off hours when it's not as busy, to get the full experience this restaurant is able to give.

I haven't been to a Cheesecake Factory for a long while. But I remember they serve pretty decent food with top notch decor. My friend always bragging about this place. So, I decided to come here to have my first dine-out meal at an American restaurant for the new year. We arrived before busy dinnertime at 4 pm. This place was nearly full but there were so many empty standing seats. Several employees conjugated at the front of house. Not sure what we were waiting for. My friend was in a wheelchair. The waitress was really nice. She sat at a convenient corner without getting anyone's way. I ordered Green Chile Chicken Enchilada (18.95) while my friend got Chicken Tenders (19.95) and a Strawberry Infused Margarita. I enjoyed my enchilada because of the crunchy cabbage on top with the green chili sauce and the juicy chicken breast meat in the tortilla wraps. There was no cheese but sour cream on the enchilada. The beans and rice were very delicious. My friend liked his chicken and sides except for the watered down margarita ($14.95). The amount of chicken pieces was overwhelming. He was trying really hard to eat them. But the waiter kept asking him if he wanted them to be boxed. We got a little annoyed. The waiter also tried to take away my plate while I was holding the fork eating my rice. Upon leaving the restaurant, the employees were all standing around again and not a single person cared to hold the door for us. I had to push the wheelchair hard and let his feet kick the doors open to get out.

Estimated time of the online order being ready (the website to order online is very phone friendly!)

I recently left a positive review for a dine-in experience at this location, which makes this takeout experience especially disappointing. Based on what occurred, I do not recommend ordering takeout from this Cheesecake Factory location. The issue is not the food--it's the execution and customer service. The phone service alone is inefficient. Expect to be placed on hold for 10+ minutes. The first person who answered immediately put me on hold before I could speak. The second struggled to communicate, and the third person who assisted me was the manager. Issue 1: On 1/16, I placed an online order and later discovered the Chicken Madeira entrée was missing. This entrée was ordered specifically for my mom, and she did not have dinner that night. We ended up cooking, which defeated the purpose of ordering takeout after a long workweek. Issue 2: On 1/17 around 1:00 PM, called to resolve the issue and was placed on hold for about 10 minutes. The manager offered either a remake with no refund or a refund with no food. Given that the entrée was paid for and never received, a remake AND a refund would have been the reasonable solution. I was told the remake would be ready by 3:00 PM. Issue 3: When I arrived at the takeout window, no one acknowledged me. Staff nearby made eye contact but did not offer assistance. As I stood there, I called the Curbside Number and was placed on hold yet again. Issue 4: When I finally spoke with the manager, I was told the order still wasn't ready. Keep in mind that this was 3 hours after I was told that it would be ready for pickup. Needless to say, I cancelled the order and requested a refund. A complimentary slice of cheesecake was offered, which felt more like a consolation than a resolution. This level of disorganization is unacceptable for a high-volume chain restaurant. I wasn't asking for special treatment--just for a mistake to be handled efficiently and professionally. While I enjoy the food and the rest of our online order was correct, this takeout inconvenience required far too much effort. I would not recommend takeout from the Premium Outlet Mall location in Cypress and hope this feedback leads to improvements in their takeout operations.

So glad to finally have a Cheesecake Factory in our neck of the woods. The location is super convenient--less than 10 minutes from my house and there's plenty of parking, which is always a win. I really loved that they have a fully enclosed, heated outdoor section that can also serve as overflow when the main dining room is crowded. That's a thoughtful setup and makes the wait feel way more manageable. Overall, it was exactly the Cheesecake Factory experience you expect--consistent, comfortable, and reliable. But what really stood out was our server, Jerry. He was from Louisiana and helped me customize my Cajun pasta, and let me tell you... it turned out amazing. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and checked on us just the right amount. We're hoping we get him every time we come back. All around, a great experience. Happy to have this location nearby and we'll definitely be back.

Yay! Cypress finally has a Cheesecake Factory, and from the packed house during our visit, it seems like the community is excited. While I'd describe the experiences as mildly "chaotic" considering we visited during their opening week, it was still a win overall. If you know anything about me, you know I have STRONG sweet tooth. Unfortunately my health is not as strong, so I save comfort meals like these for date nights and cheat meals. This date night cheat meal built the anticipation with a 30 minute wait, and kept the surprises coming with the seating order. However, once seated our waiter Jerri was perfection. As usual the brown bread is a star, and the portions are plentiful. With the sauce the Cajun salmon was exactly a described, an indulgent comfort food dish packed with flavor (and butter...lots of butter). The sauce makes the dish. For dessert we did the unthinkable, we ordered a dessert that was not cheesecake. Instead, we tried the brownie sundae. Fair warning, this one is for the fudge lovers. I wouldn't call these brownies, I'd call them fudge, fudge topped with hot fudge, sandwiched in between two luscious scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream surrounded by a generous sprinkling of almond slivers. This dessert could easily serve 3-4 adults. You may be pleased to know that I grabbed a slice of cheesecake for the road. It served as a very sweet treat the next day. My advice: If you like the Cheesecake Factory, give this one a try. If you like the Cheesecake Factory and hate crowds, noise and awkward clustering, give this location a few months to settle in, then give them a try. Either way, happy dining!

We finally made our way to Cheesecake Factory Cypress. We arrived on Wednesday night at 7P. It was crowded and people waiting, but lucky for us we made reservations ahead of time and waited just 4 mins prior to being seated. We were seated and immediately our waiter tended to us getting our drink and appetizers. I had skinny margaritas and stuff mushrooms. We also had potstickers , Asian salad was good and cheesecake was delicious. Make sure you save room . Huge menus, lots of selection

Came back here for my birthday to get the free slice of cheesecake. We ordered off the skinny menu this time and were pleased with the flavor. The prices here are a more than a little hard to swallow. The inside and service are quite nice, but this is going to have to stay a "special occasion" place for me because the prices are just too high

For drinks I had the happy hour house sangria and piña loca. The sangria came out first and was so refreshing and with such a lovely aroma and spice. The piña loca was more of a miss for me - it tasted a bit like pineapple candy and was overly sweet. We had all our happy hour appetizers next. I was a bit surprised at how small the portion sizes are - keep in mind that the happy hour orders are half of the tapas plates, which are already small and designed for sampling. We split the empanadas and I adored the beef cheek empanada - the meat was seasoned so nicely and was deliciously soft. I also really liked the flavoring of the toasta de lengua. The croquetas and bombas had a lovely crunch to them. The oxtail came out next and the meat really was coming off the bone - so deliciously soft and well seasoned. It came with a side of bread and dipping oil that was a fantastic complement. We were amazed at how fast the service was. The staff were quick to fill up our waters and Ray checked on us the whole time we were there and took trouble to make sure we had a great experience. It's quite spacious with both an indoor area and relaxed outdoor patio. Overall this was a really tasty restaurant and I'm glad we got to try it. I would just keep in mind on your visit that it is on the pricey side, though the happy hour lets you get a nice sampling of their extensive menu. Till next time!

The service itself wasn't the best, it was my friend's birthday and the server interrupted us over seven times in the middle of our conversation to ask if we were ready or if she could move the dishes out of the way, which she could've done easily without asking. Since we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time, it would be easy to see if we were ready to order, maybe it was our waitresses first time, I'm not sure. I asked if I could substitute the pasta which came with the mahi mahi with a side salad and they weren't able to do that, that they could not substitute the pasta side for a salad. I instead tried to order the caesar salad with filet and she said she couldn't do that either, and that it would be "very expensive" if I did order a filet on the side, which I wouldn't have minded paying for? A good filet is worth the price, but she steered me away from that. I ordered the lentil soup instead and it was delicious, but it came piping hot and had to wait about 10-15 minutes for it to cool to be able to eat it, and by that time, my friends were almost done with their dishes. :( The calamari was a delicious appetizer, very light and crispy and the dip was yummy too, I would order this again and highly recommend. I tried my friend's dishes, and they were also incredibly tasty. I don't think I would come back here solely based on the continuous interruptions of our conversation numerous times, it was quite frustrating and it made the restaurant seem far more casual than it initially seemed.

It just felt warm and inviting. We were attended to by JD who guided through the menu. The service was wonderful and attentive. This is a place I will return to anytime I'm in Houston.!! We were lucky to find parking on the street across the entrance. We strongly recommend reservations.

Boy I really wanted to like this place but I may be one of the few people in Houston that doesn't…read more I had reservations for the outside patio and we were immediately greeted by the water boy. He ended up being one of the best aspects of our experience that evening. Our waitress wasn't nearly as good. We started by asking for ice in the water from the waitress since they just give you room temp water. After 10 mins of seeing her serve other tables and ignoring our request, we then figured the water boy would make it happen...and sure enough he did. We then ordered the grilled oysters, which are very lightly cooked, almost seemingly steamed more than anything, but they were very good regardless of the cooking method with the sauces and garnishes and pickle juice added. Next up was ordering the entrees. The menu here is a little strange with numerous vegan choices with strange titles and only a few items with protein. To top it off, there are not many choices period. The waitress explained that the left side is basically the apps, and the right side is basically the entrees. I knew I wanted to try the wagyu flat iron steak which is priced pretty high here, compared to other wagyu flat irons I've had at other restaurants across the US. We couldn't really decide on a 2nd main dish then the waitress mentioned the off the menu special which was a scallop pasta so we picked that thinking it sounded delicious. The entrees come out about 15 mins later, and we take our first bites and we both thought, oh no, if we share the other person across from me isn't going to like this dish because it's too salty. I tried the steak first and noticed the sauce being extra salty, then I tried the pasta and the pasta was way worse, but the scallops didn't seem to be affected. We immediately told the waitress the next time she stopped by....and she just said okay, and walked away. I figured she would go get the manager....but nope...she just kept on serving other tables. At this point we thought to ourselves only the oyster app was decent.....and no reason to look at the dessert menu since we had already spent over $100 on food we could hardly eat. Sure enough, the waitress stops by a 2nd time and asks if we'd like to see the dessert menu. I couldn't leave fast enough and told her we'll skip. Needless to say we both left hungry as the portions were not only not edible, but also fairly small. The water boy also stopped by and offered to turn on the heater if we get cold. Boy, I wish he was our waiter instead. For a supposedly Michelin-starred restaurant, I feel they really got this one wrong.

Beautiful aesthetic inside and felt very warm/cozy. Our waiter was great. Attentive and gave us suggestions on his favorite dishes since it was our first time. We started out with drinks; I had a glass of the Esporao and my husband ordered the Rosemary Borrachón. Lemme tell you that Borrachón was DELICIOUS. It came garnished with a rosemary sprig and they lit it on fire. Love a good show. For starters we ordered the chicken curry empanadas and the Pimentas. The empanadas were nice and flaky. Good flavor. I absolutely devoured the pimentas! I could eat a thousand of those things. For entrees we had the Polvo com batatas and the espetada de carne. The octopus was cooked perfectly. So tender and practically melted in your mouth. Potatoes were yummy and soft! The beef skewers came out with great presentation but honestly were bit unimpressive. Not that flavorful. I did come with some amazing french fries though! We wrapped everything up with dessert. The Pudim de Banana was scrumptious. The passionfruit caramel was such a nice twist. We also got the Bolo de Bolacha. I highly recommend this dessert!! Instead of a ladyfingers they use Maria cookies and omg it makes a delicious difference. Overall, this was a fantastic dinner and we would absolutely come back
