    Chicken Marsala
    Gina D.

Small restaurant but very friendly staff. Huge portions! They bring you out soft, buttery garlic knots before your meal that are so good! We tried the Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmesan and the Tortellini. Everything was delicious. For dessert we had the strawberry cheesecake and the Limoncello Cake. Both were heavenly. I just love this little place.

I will start off by saying this, I think Italian food is the most overrated food there is and I will never suggest this type of food because it's just not my favorite. However, this place is simply amazing! The customer service, the prices in the food are simply the best! I was blown away, And this is coming for someone who doesn't really even like Italian food. Food: where in Houston Texas can you get lunch for $11? It's homemade and simply amazing? The fresh bread they bring out is probably some of the best bread I've ever had from an Italian restaurant. We got some sort of appetizer that was like mozzarella cheese with a tomato on top and some capers. Very good. The Caesar salad was amazing. The lasagna was simply amazing. I cannot believe they serve such a huge portion for $11 and the best part is it's simply the best! I was blown away by their lasagna. Last we tried the tiramisu cake and it was so good. Everything was good here. Customer service was pretty good too. If I ever crave Italian, which is very rare, maybe once a year if that I'll definitely come back here.

Flavorful pasta, lovely garlic bread, and good/friendly service. Tried the lunch special with the Alex special pasta, salad, and the garlic bread. Plenty of seating inside, nice sit down place, quick for full service pasta! Try it out!

Caesar salad with shrimp and chicken parmigiana with Alfredo

I was craving a Caesar salad so my husband treated me to some food from Adriatic Cafe, the grilled shrimp on top was delicious and he enjoyed his chicken parmigiana with Alfredo on the side. Jennifer was also an AMAZING server! We will definitely be back.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Doesn't look like much from outside, but it's very nice inside. I had a cozy feeling when I sat down. Our waitress was very nice and gave us the scoop on what to order. We were there for lunch and the prices were great. I got the calzone and got jalapeños instead of olives. It was only 12$ and I took over half of it home and ate dinner tonight and still had some left over. They put ricotta in it and when I say it took it to another level I mean it. My mom ordered the chicken Parmesan. It was a huge portion of chicken and spaghetti. She also got a delicious salad and got the house dressing that had feta cheese in it. Wow she has already told me we have to go back before she leaves so she can eat the Greek salad. Ha ha bread was also amazing.

Above average Italian restaurant pasta was delicious. Pizza was freshly made ingredients are spot on. Service was friendly and attentive Location is inviting yet a little bit tight parking lot shares with multiple restaurants at other retail stores Would recommend to others. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

Always great service and food. House side salad (huge). Chicken Parmesan with fettuccine Alfredo. So good. And the rolls! Yummo!

The CUTEST neighborhood Italian restaurant. This is what Italian food should be like; inviting, warm, casual-friendly. Everyone was wearing whatever the wanted, full house chatter on a Friday night. Their complimentary bread was the best bread I've ever had, that alone should've cost me money. Entrees were incredibly affordable and delicious. I ordered a shrimp diavolo, and they did not skimp on the shrimp and flavor. Everything was made in a timely manner and served hot. Service was wonderful, and just one time here made me a repeat customer. Two entrees + appetizer + tip: roughly $50-55

We did not say anything to the restaurant. At this point why? I guess that's the chef's palette. Idk ‍ We then shared a Crème Brûlée. Score?? Nope!! Ugh. Sadly it was runny and not set like a custard or Crème Brûlée should be. It was sweet and taste good. Just runny. The bread is good and served with a nice garlicky tomato bruschetta. The Aperol Spritz was yummy. I wanted this to be my neighborhood spot. I'm sorry to say, it was a huge disappointment!!

Been around since 1991 and it appears to have had no updates since that time. There is a funky old smell upon entering. The tables are all spread out for antiquated covid mandates. In fact, the booths still have the plexiglass dividers. The booths are old and uncomfortable. It's an Italian restaurant and they charge for bread. The bread is nothing fancy. Just sliced thin bread with some salty herbs on the top crust. The Caesar salad was tasty. I appreciate the homemade croutons (but those were too salty for my liking). They were out of the beef tips (at 5:30 pm), so we had the pasta with sausage. It was just ok. Nothing great. The bean soup was just ok. At first, I tasted "metal tomatoes" and then I thought Olive Garden's soup is better. I pause - haven't been to Olive Garden in about 30 years. Anyway, there was nothing wrong. Just not what was expected for an established and locally loved venue. I truly hope the owners appreciate my opinions and work to recharge and refresh their restaurant. I'd like it to be around for another 40 years. And I'd like to revisit in a few years and hope it's a better experience.

Disappointing experience and definitely not worth the price…read more This was our first time trying Marvinos, and unfortunately, I can say we will not be coming back. We were seated quickly and ordered our food shortly after arriving. However, it took over an hour for our food to come out. During that entire time, no one came by to check on us or give us an update. We could see several waiters standing around talking, which made the lack of attention even more frustrating. Eventually, a waiter came by and asked what we were waiting for. I told him we had been waiting for our food for over an hour. He went to check on it and came back saying it would be "two more minutes." I ordered the 12 oz American Wagyu New York Strip, medium, with mashed potatoes. I have never had to wait that long for a steak, especially at this price point. When the food finally arrived, the steak was extremely disappointing. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out very unevenly cooked. Parts were closer to well-done while other sections were still medium-rare. Only about a third actually being medium. It was also tough and lacked flavor. After waiting over an hour, I expected much better. The mashed potatoes were actually good and probably the only part of the meal I really enjoyed. For dessert, I ordered the tiramisu. It was okay, but nothing particularly memorable or worth mentioning. We also witnessed a very concerning situation at the table next to us. Their left over food had apparently been lost, and when it was brought back out, they were given someone else's leftovers. The customer immediately pointed out that it wasn't his food, and the restaurant had to make him a new meal because he understandably hadn't touched it. Overall, we paid about $155 for two, and for that price, I expected a much better experience, especially in terms of service, food quality, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the long wait, poorly cooked and tough steak, lack of service, and the situation we witnessed with another customer made the experience very disappointing. Definitely not worth the money or time.

My wife and I decided to go to the local Carrabba's. This is an old favorite of ours that we haven't been to in years. I ordered the Shrimp and Filet Toscana with a Caesar Salad. My wife got the Fettuccine Carrabba. The salad was fresh. The romaine was crisp but maybe slathered in too much dressing. The dressing was good though it had that definitive caesar tang. My Shrimp and Filet Toscana was very good. The steak melted in my mouth. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. It had a nice flavor and snap. The Garlic sauce and spinach flavorful. My wife liked her soup. I thought it was too pepper heavy and tasted like a fancy chicken noodle soup with tiny ditalini pasta. She loves loves the Fettuccine Carrabba and always orders it. I like it too, like she says "the peas and the mushrooms add another layer of flavor from your typical alfredo." Carrabba's is a good Italian chain. Its main selling point for us is that it's so close. It's also fairly consistent, you know you're gonna a get a good meal in a nice restaurant.

Atmosphere & Service: HVAC Issues: On a 100°F+ day, the restaurant's AC was down. The room was uncomfortably warm, portable AC units struggled, and water glasses were left empty. Overcrowded & Loud: Over 50 people were packed in, leaving standard servers scrambling. The manager had to use a muffled megaphone to introduce courses, making commentary unintelligible. Pacing: Long delays between small wine pours and food delivery ruined the pairing concept. Food Execution: Course 1 (Arancini): More of a fried cheese ball than risotto-based, though flavor was decent. Wine arrived well before the food. Course 2 (Parmesan Crusted Chicken): High breadcrumb-to-cheese ratio, thin and dry chicken (likely held in a warmer too long), and wet salad placed directly on top made the crust soggy. Course 3 (Linguine & Shrimp): The shrimp was so heavily over-salted it was inedible for my wife and other patrons at our table. Course 4 (Cheesecake): Possibly plated too far in advance (soggy brittle) and served partially frozen with noticeable ice crystals while eating. A wine dinner requires an intimate setting (capped at 15-20 guests), working climate control, and synced pacing. Capping attendance and managing kitchen execution would drastically improve this event. Forwarded detailed feedback to management directly as well. Pictures attached show what was not eaten with the exception of what would have been a full cheesecake piece due to son eating it when we got home. We will most likely not eat the rest. We actually won the raffle prize for a complimentary dinner for two at the end of the night, but having already decided not to return, I passed the voucher to another guest at our table. My wife paid our bill knowing how disappointed I was with the experience. I am not seeking a refund, compensation, or free meals. My goal in writing this is to offer actionable feedback so future patrons receive the quality experience a wine dinner should provide.
