UPDATE: finally came in person and so glad we did. I love little restaurants that advertise on a board outside the various specials they're running that day. We are huge homemade mushroom soup fans and so we absolutely had to order that. It's made with four types of mushroom and I hate to admit it's better than my own recipe, definitely something we'd order again. When owner Victor said their Wood-fired pizza oven was from Italy, we had to order a pizza to take home for tomorrow. He says it creates a nice crisp crust you can reheat in your oven at home. For our main course Mr. Picky ordered a big bowl of Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and then mixed in some house marinara to create a pink sauce and that was really yummy. For me, I was ready for a taste bomb! And that's what I got! The Gorgonzola Chicken is not to be missed if you are a Gorgonzola/blue cheese fan. Imagine having Chicken Alfredo with artichokes, mushrooms and a generous amount of Gorgonzola. Adding cheese to cheese. Wow! That was an exceptional dish and I'd order it again in a snap next time we come here. We enjoyed our dessert tiramisu a lot, but I wasn't a huge fan of the cannoli. They serve flavored cans of Italian Pellegrino soda and I love that, particularly nice because so many Italian restaurants only serve the plain sparkling water, and so I slaked my thirst with the unsweetened blood orange and black raspberry version. It's a small place with Delicious food, smiling people, Big Band and other easy listening background music, generous servings and modest prices. It doesn't get much better. No wonder people were stopping by to pick up to-go orders. You should definitely try Victor's food. read more

Small little place in Cypress that I found recently. I really like the lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo here. My partner also loves the pizza. I little pricey but overall worth it considering cost of ingredients these days and the quality of food is pretty good! Sure beats OG! I've only picked up Togo from here so can't speak too much on dine in service, but to go service is good. Staff is nice and patient over the phone. Lasagna 5/5 - comes with garlic bread and salad choose Fettuccine Alfredo 4.5/5 - comes with garlic bread and side salad. I've had both chicken and shrimp options, I personally prefer the chicken because it feels like you're getting more protein vs the 4 shrimp included in the shrimp option. Maybe I caught them at a bad time.. Saw the Yelp reviews, (love a good mom & pop,) & placed a to go order around 7pm on a Friday. I got the 14 in. Margherita pizza with chicken, cheese sticks, bruschetta, and a meat combo 14in. (So sorry I didn't take pics!!) Presentation was very mid. Pizza was delivered, so it wasn't the hottest in temp, (which is understandable,) but not very appealing. Margherita with Chicken: 4/10. Reading the ingredients? This pizza sounded fire! Eating it, not so much. There wasn't enough sauce, the cheese was overpowering and the chicken was kinda rubbery & just like, flavorless. I've definitely had better. I don't remember if it had basil on it or not but I don't recommend. Fried Cheese: 5/10. I'll give them the benefit that because it was delivered, maybe that's why these were on the harder side. Marinara sauce tasted homemade & was warm but cheese sticks had no stretch. Hot cheese stretches when bit. This didn't. Bruschetta: 3/10. Severely dissatisfied. Toasted garlic bread was actually good, but it was NOT presented like the pictures at all. It looked like they took a large tomato, chopped it, and seasoned it. Presentation wise, it wasn't the diced tomatoes as pictured with all of the seasonings. Again, I've had better and would not have ordered this. It was just large seasoned tomato chunks and bread. Lastly, the meat combo: 6/10. Nothing super special about it but it was the better pizza. Meat wasn't super flavorful and dough was just okay. Overall, I'm hoping it was a bad day but I just wasn't feelin it. The good- Very good lasagna. The Alfredo was a huge disappointment because it was really bland. I tried putting salt, pepper, the bread in it since the garlic bread had spices on it. Served in a bowl as if I was eating soup. The Alfredo sauce needs a lot of help with flavor. Please consider plating the Alfredo on a plate. The young man making pizzas was busy on his cell phone and not a sight someone wants to see while preparing food. The owner didn't check in with us like the other tables because I would have mentioned my disappointment to him. Our waiter was eating behind the register when the owner left to buy more lasagna noodles. I was looking forward to an amazing experience, but it missed the mark. read more

Wow! What can I say! This place is "Mahvelous". I'm honestly not a huge fan of Italian food but this place is amazing. My friend got the Shrimp Scampi and I got spaghetti and meatballs. Both dishes were just wonderful. The staff was really great too. And I believe the owner came up and asked us how everything was. A simple, yet awesome family place. I've not tried the pizza but I saw it! While I make a great pie myself it looked and smelled delish! Do yourself a favor and come here to eat. You will NOT be disappointed! In fact you will be happy you did, and that comes the Danny Chapman guarantee . (It's the first one I've ever given out so don't let me down Vittori). Oh and it's BYOB. First time dining here, but definitely not the last. We ordered a pizza, lobster ravioli, and chicken parmigiana, and everything was delicious. The ravioli was especially impressive, filled with fresh chunks of shrimp, lobster, and scallops, all in a flavorful sauce. The pizza, cooked in a wood-burning oven, was excellent as well. The place is small and loud but the service was very good and the staff were polite. The owner came to the table twice which was nice. We ordered Caesar salads and they were good but it was not the traditional anchovies dressing-- more of a creamy black pepper one. They were a good size too. For an app, we ordered, calamari because I always do at Italian restaurants: unfortunately, it was undercooked and rubbery but we still ate it. For our entrees, we got chicken pesto with spaghetti and a 10 inch beef pizza. They were good as well. The red sauce was fresh tasting; to me, it had too much oregano but that's a personal preference and it was still tasty. The pizza was very good as it was cooked right there in their big brick pizza oven. For dessert, we got the lemon cello cake and it was light tasting and delicious. This place has gotten worse and worse delivering food on time. When I order a pizza for pick-up I show up 30 minutes late past the pick up time and they still haven't started even making the pizza. Absolutely unacceptable. Love the food but not coming here anymore. My husband and I tried the chicken fettuccine. It was a 2/10. Flavorless. The chicken tastes flavorless and felt like cardboard. It was thin and, flat. Truth is Olive garden taste much better. I wouldn't get this. We all tried the combo appetizers platter with fried mushrooms, cheese sticks and fried zucchini at least I think it was Friday zucchini. It was 70 percent breading and the same breading on all three. The mushroom breading was wet and soggy. It really was bad. All dishes averaged a 2/5. It leads me to believe that all the food is below average here. Can't recommend it and I tried it because of the positive reviews it has on yelp but the food does not reflect the positive views. Very disappointing. I ended up feeding the food to my chickens. The quality of the food is just below par. read more

Wrote a review for Vittorio's back at Christmas when they provided the family dinner. We had the lasagna and gave them five stars...would have been 10 if yelp went that high Anyway, me and my hubby have been back many times and I have not been able to get past ordering anything but the lasagna. Luckily my husband has tried other dishes and they are all outstanding. Maybe someday I'll get past the lasagna, but doubtful. Brought five friends there the other night and they all ordered the lasagna and salad. Once more Victor's lasagna knocked it out of the park and the house salad dressing was fabulous too. I have tried many Italian restaurants in the Houston area, but having grown up in Jersey, nothing touched what we like, until Vittorios. And it doesn't hurt that the staff is wonderful and Victor is always there to see if we're ( and all his customers) are happy. read more

Lasagna has a very strange flavor, almost as if someone accidently dumped a ton of fennel in the sauce accidentally, not edible. Cheese sticks were a step below frozen, not edible. Spaghetti was the only thing edible. This was takeout so maybe the in-dining experience is different but I think I could have matched or surpassed everything on the frozen food aisle. read more
