Margarita Pizza

This pizza was absolutely top notch! Usually I am the kind of person to either order Domino's, Papa John's or even make it from scratch. But jeez, the people here definitely know how to throw a pie together The flavor, crispyness, and freshness of the pizza was honestly all there for what I wanted. The service was quick and my pizza was ready, right as they said it would be. I whole heartedly recommend this place, will be coming back!

With so many pizza shops at almost every corner, some could be hits...some could be misses....Giannina's, a HUGE hit! Due to the pandemic we weren't able to dine-in but there was a tent outside the establishment were someone would take your order or pick up your order. We ordered the brisket pizza and Bianca pizzas...made fresh and piping hot..these pizzas were excellent thin-crust pizza!! Pizza took about 25-30 min to prep, not sure if that's because they were busy or if that's the usual cook time, but it's definitely worth the wait! Will definitely be back to try other menu items!!

We were looking for a pizza place with brick oven and wanted to try this out. It's located next to a Subway on Barker Cypress in a little plaza. Upon entering, we were greeted and taken to a table. The dining area of the establishment was small, so we saw the brick oven as soon as we entered. There was only two other tables with customers, but the ambience was casual and noisy. There was one waitress, one cashier, and two men at the oven making the dough and pizzas. The server gave us a menu and said to order at cash register when ready. We looked at the one page menu, decided, and walked up to register to place order. She rang in the order and I had to pay and tip before getting the food/service- I know this is common now but it is backwards to me. I ordered a 10" Margherita pizza, a large Special pizza, a Veal Parmigiana, and a Cappuccino. The salad that came with the veal plate was subpar. The penne pasta was not thoroughly cooked and still hard in some parts. The sauce on penne didn't have much flavor. The pizzas were just average, not anything extraordinary like we expected. The special pizza's crust was floppy and not crunchy. When we got to my car and I looked at receipt, I saw she had charged me an extra $1 for vanilla in my Cappuccino, when I specifically asked for no flavors and got no flavors in it. We got there around 8pm and they close at 10pm. Maybe it was end of the night and they were tired. But I'm not driving all that way to try again.

Entrance, sorry for the blurry pic. My camera seems to vibrate or something when using the normal camera outside of apps

Whoa whoa whoa! Came here yesterday because I'm a pizza-head and I was ready for my weekly pizza. Rather than go with the usual dominoes, I decided to search around for local spots to support local and try something new. Am I glad that I did! After browsing the menu I decided on a 14inch pizza, half Quattro Formaggi and half build your own. On the build your own I added pepperoni, beef, Canadian bacon, onions, and peppers. I love and always get meat on my pizza, but that Quattro Formaggi was SO good. It's a sauceless pizza with 4 cheeses, but they nailed it. Of course the side with meat got devoured as well, but I had to comment on the 4 cheese side first since it was a newer experience. I went to Italy for a few weeks last year, so I was glad to find the owners and chef are both Italian born and raised. The place has a few tables inside which were being used and had steady takeout traffic. The restaurant has the oven for the pizzas in the dining room like many restaurants did while I was in Italy. The quality of the pizza def reminds me of my time there as well! Everything was awesome, including the Caprese I almost forgot to mention. When picking up my pizza I said Grazie (thank you) to the chef, and he started welcoming me in Italian. I think I may have found my new go to spot.

Hand made perfection. And the sauce...

Order the white sauce pizza. They have everything though. Full blown Italian restaurant! It's better than locatellis and Olive Garden. They seem to have staff insecurities like all but doing their best to stay open for business. I will call to make sure their open if I'm not in the area since they opened late last time I was there.

Special without bell peppers. Awesome!!!

Best pizza in Townelake Cypress area. Can be about 10 minutes slow on time estimates for being ready for pick up. Well worth the extra 10 min every time!

I've had the margherita (how it's spelt on the menu) and it wasn't nearly as good as Bianca.

I ordered "The Convention" breakfast which was "Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Breakfast Potatoes and Buttermilk Biscuits" - it came with literally 20 tiny sausage patties and biscuits total. So one tiny sausage and biscuit per person. I didn't count the bacon but it was a similarly stingy portion. No one had more than two pieces. The eggs were bland. The potatoes were actually good. But overall, it was so embarrassing to have the food show up and it be these tiny trays of hardly any food for over $400. I would have been better off ordering individual dishes for each person from a local restaurant. I thought with the high Yelp and Google reviews I saw, this would be a safe bet! I also ordered a 20 mini pastries for $3.25 each which were like pastries you get at a 7/11. At least if you are overcharging, let the food be good and not like you unwrapped pastries from a Costco haul. Worst of all was the coffee which was watered down and disgusting. Everyone threw theirs out so I just dumped it. What an utter waste of money. Also they only sent 8 cups with the coffee even though the breakfast was for 20. Stingy and bland all around. If you are catering for a small group, please save yourself the trouble and embarrassment and just order takeout from a local restaurant. I wish I took pictures of the spread but I was just too upset. All I took was the coffee which you can tell even from the picture was watery. ***The menu listed the items but didn't say only 1, 1oz piece of bacon per person - that's absolutely absurd for a normal breakfast portion. Who would cater one piece of bacon per person?

I loved the food and munched on it like a starving kitten. Pandemic hits and it severely limits my ability to go to places, but I still had the old flyer. I called the order in ahead and ordered a shrimp poboy for myself, a fish one for my husband and a chicken pasta for my mother. First things first, as its technically a catering company and due to restrictions with dine in service in Fort Bend County, I don't know if the inside will ever be meant for dining service. It seems it's meant mostly for pick up, but on the other hand restaurants are operating differently with the pandemic, so I can't say for sure. Now the food. Portions are huge. Our poboys were large enough that we split them to taste the other person's meal. I felt they were some of the best poboys, I've had. Probably the only better ones are the ones from New Orleans and that's high praise as it's New Orleans influenced dining. If you want to know, I think the fried fish poboy slightly edged out the shrimp poboy. I felt the taste of the shrimp at times got lost, whereas the fish poboy and all of the other components were balanced. However, it's such a slight difference in terms of taste, that you're not losing out if you're eating the shrimp poboy. But if you are eating with someone and they don't mind sharing, I do recommend swapping half your poboy. For my mother's meal, as a picky old lady, she was content, and that's rare. It was a lot of food, it came with vegetables and corn bread. She ate it and didn't complain. To me that's high praise. The only real "knock" as that while the bread pudding is good, I know you can get better bread pudding elsewhere. Also, as it seems to be a start up business, drink options are also limited. However, I think with time there will be more drink options/ As for the bread pudding, people are either going to agree with me or not. It's still good, but I don't think that's the highlight of this caterer/restaurant. The main dishes are what makes this place unique and I'd come here for those dishes or consider this place for events like weddings and bigger parties. The food is good enough to make everyone happy and if it's for a wedding or birthday party it's not like you'll need their dessert as wedding/birthday cakes tend to be ordered at bakeries. Definitely try it, and send me a note if you agree.

Ricky is such a gracious host! The tables had been covered in newspaper and, when it hit 6 pm sharp, he spread out the freshly cooked crawfish, potatoes, and corn in front of us and told us to dig in! As we ate, Ricky and Beth (along with the CARES team for the apartments -- shout out to Rachel and Zach!) walked around to make sure everyone had waters to drink, clean napkins, and also helped clear away the crawfish already devoured. Check out my photos to see how LARGE these suckers were! Everyone was able to get huge chucks of meat from the tails and claws before moving on to the next bug. Our table even had some crawfish eatin' pros sucking out the heads and nodding approval to the rest of us not as brave :p I thought everything was seasoned perfectly (I can't handle most spicy items- these had a nice kick!) but there were those around me wishing their portions were spicier. This was a family event, though, and it was nice the kids were able to enjoy it, too, since it was on the mild side. Robichaux's Place is new to town and I say definitely worth snagging for your next event - He does more than crawfish, too!
