Most likely the fanciest and nicest spot in Cypress. Food is amazing, and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend.

The lack of accountability is disturbing The negative experience came from horrible service. Snatched my son's plate due to my report of the chicken tasting like SALMONELLA; while he was in mid eating around it. Fork in hand only eating the noodles. Ran off just To dig out the chicken. Without any explanation. Even when I said "wait" he ignored me, & ran away. Then returned & slammed the same EXACT plate with the EXACT noodles down in front of my son. You don't do that shit to a dog. When asking for a box of his remains, he said yelled and screamed "FOR THAT LITTLE NOODLE!?!" _If I'm paying for it yes, for that little noodle. I canceled my ordered that hasn't yet been delivered and ask for my ticket. In reality I shouldn't have paid for tampered food. "We're always looking for areas to improve and appreciate your feedback very much!" If it's that huge of a deal to remove a protein (chicken) that a customer dish, bring another plate for the customer remove it themselves. Otherwise bring a fresh plate with fresh PASTA ONLY. DON'T EVER TAMPER With a CUSTOMER FOOD. Which results in making customers physically ill. Extra deets: Marvino's give me the energy of Texas Roadhouse (spitting in black families food that's shown all on the News). They also give me a store front. Disappointing experience and definitely not worth the price. This was our first time trying Marvinos, and unfortunately, I can say we will not be coming back. We were seated quickly and ordered our food shortly after arriving. However, it took over an hour for our food to come out. During that entire time, no one came by to check on us or give us an update. We could see several waiters standing around talking, which made the lack of attention even more frustrating. Eventually, a waiter came by and asked what we were waiting for. I told him we had been waiting for our food for over an hour. He went to check on it and came back saying it would be "two more minutes." I ordered the 12 oz American Wagyu New York Strip, medium, with mashed potatoes. I have never had to wait that long for a steak, especially at this price point. When the food finally arrived, the steak was extremely disappointing. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out very unevenly cooked. Parts were closer to well-done while other sections were still medium-rare. Only about a third actually being medium. It was also tough and lacked flavor. After waiting over an hour, I expected much better. The mashed potatoes were actually good and probably the only part of the meal I really enjoyed. For dessert, I ordered the tiramisu. It was okay, but nothing particularly memorable or worth mentioning. We also witnessed a very concerning situation at the table next to us. Their left over food had apparently been lost, and when it was brought back out, they were given someone else's leftovers. The customer immediately pointed out that it wasn't his food, and the restaurant had to make him a new meal because he understandably hadn't touched it. Overall, we paid about $155 for two, and for that price, I expected a much better experience, especially in terms of service, food quality, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the long wait, poorly cooked and tough steak, lack of service, and the situation we witnessed with another customer made the experience very disappointing. Unfortunately, we had a really disappointing experience at Marvino's. When we arrived, there was still about an hour before closing, but we immediately felt rushed to place our order. We ordered a pizza, only to be told that the pizza oven wouldn't be working until the next day. To make matters worse, there was a bug in one of our waters, which was extremely unpleasant. The food we did receive was also not good and definitely did not meet our expectations. After such a poor overall experience, we decided not to leave a tip. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the staff then complained about us not leaving a tip, despite everything that had happened. I understand that restaurants can have off days, but the combination of being rushed, not being able to order what we wanted, finding a bug in our water, disappointing food, and then being made to feel bad for not tipping made this a very unpleasant experience. Me and my friends went to celebrate. The staff was great, and I wish I knew her name but the lady at the front was truly amazing! We did the Houston restaurant Week deal and I got the lobster bisque, filet mignon, and cheesecake. The lobster bisque was just alright, but for the people who like filet mignon, it was pretty good. Wow what a nice steakhouse. We came on Friday 12/6. We had reservations for 6:30 which actually wasn't necessary as they seemed to be only at 50% capacity. The ambience is very inviting and relaxing. They have a security guard out front promising to watch your vehicle. The hostess was very sweet. Our servers were great too. The food was amazing. Perfectly cooked steaks. Have been here multiple times as well as Darios. Tonight I went and they had a filet mignon on the bone and I thought this is going to be tender and juicy (ordered medium rare). It was a $57.00 tire. When I told one of the managers he replied..." I had it today and it was good". Once I repeated myself he said did you tell your waiter and I said you walked past first. He kindly discounted me 14 dollars. This is the first time I've ever been dissatisfied here. But also... when you treat me a certain way I believe you I love supporting local but is Ruth Chris is buying up an the quality meat and making it hard for you, then just say that. My wife and I frequent this restaurant on a regular basis. We traveled Mothers day weekend and got into Cypress later than planned. We decided to go to Marvino's to have a quite dinner as usual. We sat at the bar because of all the tables taken in the restaurant. The server at the bar had one other couple. We finally gave her our dinner order and waited for our salads and bread . She brought us 3 small slices that went very quick . She was obviously busy with another part of the restaurant . I grabbed our bread dish and walked to the back of the bar and asked for more bread . Much to our suprise a gentlemen brought us more and abruptly slid the bread across to us . Did not say a word to us not even the courtesy of thank you, I'm sorry , Nothing. Turns out this was one of the owners. I'm sorry he was having a bad day but that is no excuse. I'm not going to let this stop us from going back but an apology would have been nice. read more

Kitchen and staff need some work. We went for Thanksgiving, they had an a la carte menu, not pre fixe. Restaurant was about 30% full. I ordered a stuffed mushrooms appetizer. It was fine. The other three ordered soups. Our entrees came out about 15 minutes later. No soups. They took the entrees back and brought out the soups about 5 minutes later. My guests were about halfway through their soups, and the entrees came back. Obviously, the same entrees had been sitting under a heat lamp. My sea bass was a bit crusty but otherwise fine, but it was served with mashed potatoes instead of the listed risotto. They brought out the risotto after checking the menu. A steak entree had no flavor and was totally under seasoned. It was served with mashed sweet potatoes instead of the asparagus requested. It wasn't until it was served that we were informed that they were out of asparagus. The two turkey plates were dried out and cool. The steak was removed from the bill. Fantastic experience! Wife and I both started with a Cesar salad. It was fresh and large portion. Wife had the chicken marvino and loved it. Full of flavor and served hot. I had the linguine and thought it was spectacular as well. Great wine selections, and some fantastic specials. Finished with a tiramisu that was outstanding as well. Staff was very attentive. Not Terrific My wife and I went to Marvinos for lunch on 3/4/2026. She ordered a Ceasar salad and a pizza. I ordered Chicken Parmesan. First the good part of the luncheon. The salads were good. Then the not so good part. We sat....and we sat....and we sat in a virtually empty restaurant fot almsost 45 minutes until the chicken and the pizza came....now for the good part.....the chicken was done very nicely...now for the not so good.....the pizza was barely cooked and the dough was raw.....we sent the pizza back....then we sat and we sat and my food got very cold waiting for my wifes pizza...and after nearly 35 minutes they brought it back.....it was the original pizza....with the slice missing that had been returned to the kitchen..,,,apparently they attempted to further cook it .....it did not reheat properly....they should have made her a fresh pizza....I would have expected a decent restaurant to so do ...I told the manager that this was not acceptable and he removed the charge from the bill.......so we ended up with two decent salads....a cold order of chicken parmesan and being very dissapointed by such poor service. I told the manager on our way out that we would not be back, He shrugged....life is tough. read more

I hate to say this, but tonight is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I was really looking forward to a valentines date night with my lady. Boy was I in for a surprise. We got sat, and waited, and waited. It was over 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. No hello, no water, nothing. The waiter finally came and we ordered drinks and dinner. I finished my cocktail, and yet again wait and wait... luckily a manager came by. I had to ask him for water and a second cocktail that I never received. The appetizer was good. The entre was not. I asked for a filet cooked medium rare and I got well done. My better half asked for her steak well done and she got a cross between shoe leather and charcoal. They did take one plate off of the check, but it was still well over $100. In all, I saw my waiter three times, when I ordered, when I asked for a manager, and when he brought the check. I should have known what a shitshow it was going to be when I saw other couples walking out before ordering. Bad food and bad service make for a pretty poor valentines day. It's Christmas so Mr. Picky had a bowl of Lobster Bisque which he liked, and then THREE desserts, first of which was a mini apple pie with ice-cream. We had the Mango Salad which I liked a lot, and our guest enjoyed the Ceasar Salad. Mr. Picky in the meantime was rushing the kitchen for his second dessert, Bailey's crème brûlée. Our guest enjoyed her Norwegian salmon, but my prime rib was tough and the baked potato cold and hard. Mr. Picky headed for dessert number three which was the Praline Cheesecake and that one was good enough that the other two of us opted for that as our dessert. Had a set 3 course meal that was predetermined; somehow still out of multiple options, lobster bisque and filet marvino came out cold (like it had been sitting out for a while), short rib pasta tasted undercooked and very doughy, didn't get bread basket until halfway through our meal and we had to ask for it ourselves, dessert was average, ended up paying 300 DOLLARS FOR 2 PEOPLE. Walked in on a Saturday for a Togo order cause the mother in law loves green Olives on a pizza. Inwas greeted right away and taken to the to-go area by Jose and he was kind and took my order. The pizza was hot and correct and I watched them cook it in the stone fire pizza oven. It's amazing they have this for all to see and watch. Bar looked amazing but I had to go. Service was fast and place was clean. I was asked by a manager when he walked in if inwas taken care of and even went to Jose to check my order was being taken care of.
