Such a cute place for lunch! I stopped by and ordered the hot honey wings and waffle plus a side of mac and cheese. The ordering process was very easy and smooth; just order on the kiosks at the front! They have daily specials and lunch specials too! The food was hot and prepared pretty fast. The wings are huge! I was so excited to find out that The Waffle Bus opened up in Cypress! I walked in, an hr and 15 mins before closing and the store was really busy. I ordered 2 *Chicken Thunder Fries and the girl at the register told me it'd be a 30 min wait. It was super busy inside and wasn't her fault so I said that's fine and waited in the car. A 30 minute wait ended up being an hour wait and my order was finally ready. I went inside to pick it up and the waiting area was finally clear. The Waffle Bus was a staple in college and this did not satisfy any cravings at all. The small amount of chicken was super salty and difficult to eat. Granted, it was a super busy Sunday night and I tried to be patient but I'd think twice before visiting on a weekend night. read more

The food was great. It is fried chicken, and my wife and I love the batter they use. i tend to prefer spicy and their hot chicken is always a good spice but not so bad I'm gasping for air. Their waffle fries are really nicely seasoned too. Our daughter loves their waffles and they have a cereal dispenser so you can add to waffles. The staff is always really nice when we go in. We met one of the owners today while in, very nice touch. It's nice to be able to have these kind of places nearby now and not have to drive forever. We will definitely be back. read more

The food was ok the chicken was kinda greasy in which you can see in the pic on side of the waffles. Also the crust/batter of the chicken was falling off the chicken definitely could have been better. Service was good the female at the register was very helpful with placing the order. I ordered two different flavored chicken and waffles and they did not write on the box which was which so when I home I didn't which one was mines and which one was for my husband. I was very disappointed in that and hope going forward they make adjustments accordingly. I was their grand opening so the ambiance was a bit much it was loud with excitement. I love that we have a new restaurant located right here in Bridgeland. I would go back for other options hopefully this was only a hiccup. read more

Not only were we not greeted at the counter but the cooks behind the counter rolled their eyes as we entered the restaurant and said "BROOOO... WERE CLOSING" as if we couldnt hear them. It's an absolute flavor identity crisis. One bite I'm in a carnival eating a grease-soaked funnel cake, the next I've stumbled into a mineral deposit--a straight-up salt lick. Zero spice, zero flavor, zero reason to exist. I'm telling you, a dry, naked piece of Canes chicken is a five-star Michelin meal compared to this--yes, it is that offensive. We sampled the sauces. We had the 'homemade ranch' (not good) and another watery mystery. Both were as thin and forgettable as the plot of a bad B-movie. They offered absolutely nothing, possessing the structural integrity of rainwater. The waffle fries are the culinary equivalent of a shrug emoji. Okay, but profoundly bland. They needed a life coach and a lot of seasoning. And the smashburger? It was indeed a smashburger. We enjoyed it very much and been twice now. Ive had the waffle sandwich and the brioche sando, both were good but the waffle sandwich was better. The fries are good. There should be more sauce in the cups, some were not even half full, if you're gonna charge for sauce, the cup should have some sauce in it. We had the ice cream 1 scoop with Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the Reese's puffs and both were yumo. read more
