He was very attentive without being pushy or disruptive. Brandon the CHEF, yes I called him a chef because he cooked my breakfast EXACTLY like I ordered it and that rarely happens! Eggs =perfect, hash browns=perfect, bacon=nailed it! The only thing I didn't care for was the waffle, but then again I don't really like them, but they swapped it for a perfectly toasted English muffin AND they even have mixed berry jelly!!!!!! I love Waffle House, so I am extremely disappointed to write this review at a 1 star. Monday at 10:30 pm I walked in and was immediately greeted. I sat down at the bar because all the booths were dirty, the server did not even think about wiping down the bar where I was sitting. Unfortunately I had to do it myself. I ordered a patty melt with no bacon, hashbrowns and a waffle with blueberries and pecans. The cook accidentally added bacon and instead of making a whole new patty melt decided to just take off the bacon and still serve it to me. (I don't eat pork, so this is a huge contamination issue, luckily I am deciding not to blow it up). The patty melt was overcooked and the bread was almost burnt, the hashbrowns were average. The waffle to my surprise was actually disgusting I believe they used blueberry syrup instead of real blueberries and way to much waffle batter. All this would have been easier to fathom had I received respectable service and the restaurant was at a bare minimum clean. My server disappeared and I had to ask to check out and when I did was told that "I needed to wait for my server to create the check." I asked for a manager of course there wasn't one on staff at the time. Who makes a customer wait to pay that's just crazy I should have left, but I am a respectable human. I paid, left a tip and kindly gave the server my review once she returned 20 minutes later. Waffle House on Muesche Rd. is a complete rip off if you order an Omlette. Previously we have ordered Omlettes and the total price included toast and grits. Tonight we ordered Omlettes with toast and grits expecting to pay $7.50 for each Omlette, instead we were charged $15.00 for two Omlettes and an additional $11.50 for two orders of grits and toast. I don't think this is correct as the Waffle House national website shows that Omlettes come with toast and grits, or alternatively hash browns and tomatoes for no extra charge. I have complained to Waffle House corporate about this overcharge and will see if they bother to respond and make this right. The people at the restaurant seemed clueless and thought that charging $26.50 for two Omlettes was completely normal and reasonable. We could have gone to a nice sit down place for much better food for that price rather than average Waffle House food, with a floor that was so dirty it was disgusting. read more

The food was really delicious and the price was great! It had been some time since I've eaten at a Waffle House, but the menu is still very basic, simple, classic, but good eats. The wait time was no less than you'd expect at a typical diner that prepares your food fresh. The ambiance was nice. It was quiet, but in the good way. If you're out late and needing a quick bite, definitely give them a chance. I cannot praise the staff enough for their kindness and hospitality. I am pregnant and I have a sensitive nose and literally didn't smell anything but yummy delicious food and fresh clean air. Everyone was really friendly and our food was made delicious!!! Go to Black Bear Diner instead at least your not nicked and dimes, then charged for a 10% to go fee and then on top of that a 10% service fee. This is a new Waffle House but the service and food were excellent. They were trained well. I had my regular for Waffle House which was 2 Papa Joe's pork chops, over easy eggs with grits and orange juice. I like the fact they cut my pork chops for me. It made them easier to get all the meat. All were cooked to perfection for me. The only thing was I had to ask for the pork chops as they were not listed on the menu on the table. We used to love this location.... my family of four walked in sat down at a sub par clean table... this visit absolutely was the worst visit EVER!!! Asked for a refill on our coffee 3 times - never received Our food started come to us about 30 minutes after order - it took an additional 20 minutes to receive our entire order... so we literally did not get to enjoy our food together as a family or as a whole - for example my ham came out about 15 minutes before my eggs which were sunny side up and I had ordered scrambled. My grits came out after everything else was done, waffles also came out towards the end cold. I could give a few more complaints but I think the highlight was when we were sitting there and there was some disruption in the restaurant ... which led to the parking lot - unsure of what happened but one of the cooks followed out - next thing we know a butcher knife was being waved around... time to go $56 crappy food, crappy service - annoyed because we all debated on ihop- Cracker Barrel - Denny's or Waffle House never again - save your money read more
