Hot pastrami on French bread with provolone, stone mustard, red onions and tomatoes
    Tish P.

I can't say I was overly excited when JD moved into the neighborhood. Back in the day, I lived at JD for lunch because it never disappointed. My first visit to this new location and I ordered online. For curbside pickup. Did one of my classics, manager's special: hot pastrami on French bread with provolone, stone mustard, red onions and tomatoes! For the sides, went with plain chips and had seafood gumbo for the soup. It was a good meal but scant on the pastrami. Definitely not nearly enough as a traditional pastrami sammich. Gotta fill that bad boy up...the soup was OK, had plenty of shrimp! Only thing that's annoying with service is having to call and tell someone I'm outside. If I wanted to talk to somebody I would have went inside and ordered lol

I love Jason's Deli, quick meal, healthy or healthy-ish options - you can't go wrong. It's funny that I never really know what I want until I get to the counter. You can't go wrong with the Deli Club either on regular bread or my favorite, the croissant. You can't go wrong with the chicken Caesar salad. You can't go wrong with the salad bar option. You can't go wrong with muffins and/or garlic bread at the mini bar...that is until they run out and don't refill! You can't go wrong with the free ice cream...until you realize it's broken or not working properly. I've been here 3 times in a span of a month, each time the ice cream machine wasn't working properly or at all! I love the actual food, the service is great. But the muffins/garlic/ice cream are what makes me want to come back here even more! If they aren't restocked in a timely manner and the ice cream machine is never working, should I continue to go if I'm not receiving the full Jasons Deli experience? Tbd...

If you want to wait forever and get some terrible food order the chicken pot pie soup. It taste like nothing only worse... and I think they forgot to put the chicken in it as well.....after I gave up on eating it I poured it on our dogs food then I had to throw the dogs food out. Anyway Don't go here, starve instead.

Loved the food, especially the salad bar, but the service was even better. The name of my waitress was Maria and she made me and my family feel right at home. Will return!

It is worth the 15 minute wait like they told me it would be. the seasoning was on Point. The chicken was cooked to perfection. "Crispy Onion Rings + Classic Comfort Food" 02-06-26…read more This place came highly recommended by a coworker, and I must say, it was worth the risk of trying something new. My husband and I came for an early Friday evening dinner, and we were genuinely impressed. Customer service was good, not over the top, but definitely decent and pleasant. The atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. They played a nice mix of music (blues, soul, Tejano, light rock, country, and more) at a mid-volume on the overhead speakers. There were also mounted flat-screens, but they weren't turned on, which I actually didn't mind. One of the coolest perks is the self-serve ice cream station, and the ice cream is delicious. It has that old-fashioned, rich vanilla flavor, like the 1950s when food tasted much better. On top of that, although not self-serve, they also have a "Shakes & Malts and Warm Cookies" station, which is such a fun touch. The dining area is large with plenty of seating options, (booths and tables), and everything looked clean and tidy. They also have a self-serve beverage station that was clean and well-stocked. Now for the best part: the food! Just a heads-up, this place believes in large portion sizes, and I'm not mad at it! I ordered the Mississippi Catfish Platter, and it was loaded. It came with 4 large catfish pieces, Texas toast, onion rings, and two sides. I chose the creamy whipped potatoes and coleslaw. My husband ordered the Mississippi Catfish with fried shrimp and French fries, and his plate also came with Texas toast and onion rings. I tasted one of his shrimp and it was delectable! OMG! My only complaint is that the fish could have been fried a little crispier with a little crunch to it. It was just too soft for my liking. Food Ratings: Mississippi Catfish Platter -- 4/5: Delicious flavor, but it wasn't crispy/crunchy--more soft than I expected Shrimp & Catfish Platter -- 4/5 Mia's Queso Dip -- 3/5 Mashed Potatoes -- 5/5: Thick consistency but still creamy Onion Rings -- 5/5: Cooked to perfection--crispy and crunchy Coleslaw -- 3/5: Not my favorite. It had more of a vinaigrette vibe, and I prefer a mayo-based, tangy slaw French Fries -- 3/5: Served hot, but nothing special Overall, I highly recommend Mia's Table if you're looking for simple comfort food without all the fancy extras. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a long work week or for those lazy nights when you just don't feel like cooking.

A True Taste of the Deep South Right Here in Texas! I was…read morecraving some real Southern comfort food and the brand new Bojangles delivered in the best way possible. This place brings authentic Deep South flavors and hospitality straight to Texas, and every single bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from down South. The signature chicken tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and seasoned to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere. Paired with their seasoned dirty rice, their fluffy, buttery biscuits and perfectly seasoned french fries, it was a match made in heaven. I also had to try the famous Bo Berry biscuit, and it did not disappoint, warm, sweet, bursting with blueberries and that classic glaze that makes it impossible to stop at just one. Of course, no Southern meal is complete without a tall cup of sweet tea, and theirs was exactly what I hoped for: strong, refreshing, and perfectly sweetened like grandma made it. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and full of flavor, and the whole experience felt like a warm Southern welcome. If you're looking for that genuine Deep South taste without leaving Texas, Streets Chicken is the spot. Highly recommend. ! I'll definitely be back for more! Rod Gray Cypress, TX

My wife and I were sharing and she settled on the Steak Biscuit breakfast sandwich because she'd heard it tastes like the old Grandy's steak biscuit (I don't remember ever eating at Grandy's). We ordered on the app and picked up in the drive thru. The attendant was friendly and told us to pull up to the stop sign to wait for fresh food. The Steak Biscuit and Bo-Tato Rounds came out hot. I liked the biscuit, but the steak was too thin and got lost. My wife said, "It kind of tastes like Grandy's, but Grandy's was better," it has to have been 40 years since she's eaten there. The real star for me was the Bo-Tato Rounds! I would go back just for those. They were hot, flaky and just greasy enough to have that forbidden "it's bad for you" tater bliss!

My party of three ordered the breakfast egg rolls to share as a appetizer. There were plenty to share and very tasty. Eggs, cheese and crumbled sausage fried in an egg roll wrapper served with hot honey drizzle and roumalaud sauce for dipping. I ordered a kids grilled chicken tenders with a side of mashed potatoes along with a kids mac and cheese. Not only were the chicken tenders bland but the chicken was sooo tough. I also had tough fried and bland chicken tenders at the Humble location. It seems as if they're cooked from frozen but I don't know. As for the mac and cheese I like that it was a homemade sauce rather than kraft but it tasted nothing like mac and cheese sauce. Instead it tasted more like a garlic alfredo sauce without the parmesan. The only okay thing was the mashed potatoes. I liked the garlic flavor in them but I could've went without the parmesan cheese in them. Overall, I haven't been pleased with anything i've ordered from here so not sure if i'd recommend.
