We tried 2920 Roadhouse again and they delivered! Food was tasty and cooked to perfection. They have a great bartender because every drink was on point! The fried pickles were some of the best I've ever tried and the queso was creamy and not spicy! Our dinners were hot and came out as ordered. Toby was a great server and was attentive but not overbearing. He was actually quite comical and made the experience better. Nice decor and cozy feels. We will be back!

6/24/2023: This is the kinda place you wish you could give more than 5 stars! Outstanding Texas friendly venue! It's on a large piece of historic property surrounded by beautiful trees; one is 5 centuries old! We met the owner. He gave us the background (you can read about it on their website). We went for an Elvis tribute concert (Kraig Parker) and though we've had temperatures in the 100s, it wasn't too bad. They have large fans and the seating area is completely shaded due to the positioning. It is not covered, but it is shaded. So, if it's raining, it would not be an ideal place to be. We ate dinner first inside the restaurant. It smelled amazing upon entering. That Texas barbecue smell! There's a cute little gift shop inside with fun merchandise. We were seated within 2 minutes. We enjoyed a couple glasses of wine each, then we had the brisket grilled cheese, pulled pork sandwich, fried okra and jalapeño creamed corn. Everything was fantastic! Our waitress, Chloe, took excellent care of us. We split the items so we could try as much as possible. $75 (after tip) for our meal. I was expecting our dinner to be a lot more expensive. The outside concert area is dog friendly, there's a dance floor off the seating area, they have a large outdoor bar and there are air conditioned restrooms outside. The owner introduced the artist after thanking our military and first responders. Then he led us in prayer. I was so touched by this experience. I loved that we prayed and everyone stood plus removed their hats. Very Country and made me proud to be a Texan of the great United States of America! The drink prices are great. 5 wines between the 2 of us and our total was only $48 (after tip), The concert prices are great too - $35 per ticket. Parking is very convenient and directly by the seating area. You don't have to worry about anything happening with it so close. Plus, you're in the country surrounded by good people. I felt very safe the entire night. We had such a good time and I'm going to be checking their calendar for fall events. Whether you want dinner, a show or just drinks, this place will not disappoint!

Food was great! Really cool building. They had brunch all day on the weekend which was a great surprise. House Pinot Grigio was great too.

GF and I and friends were here to see Mark Chestnut. We've been a few other times. Great music venue and great atmosphere. Only downside again is the dark haired older lady at the front door was very rude again. Not sure is he's the owner, manager or what but not welcoming at all. Other than they were a little short on servers but that is the new norm anywhere you go. The servers we're working hard and friendly. We will go back I'm sure but try to avoid this woman.

There are a ton of TVs and plenty of seating, so it definitely feels like somewhere you can just hang out for a while, especially for games or with a group. You order at the counter and they bring the food out, so it's not traditional service, but watching the staff you can tell they've got a system. Everything keeps moving, food comes out quick, and tables are getting cleared. It stays pretty busy too, which makes sense since there's not a lot else going on around there. Food-wise: The pizza had a really solid crust - crispy and cooked all the way through. The cheese pull was probably the best part, but overall the flavor just wasn't really there for me. It was light on sauce, and I feel like that's something that would've made a big difference. Even just having extra sauce on the side would help. The wings, though, were the highlight. Perfect crunch, good size, and the barbecue sauce was actually really good - slightly sweet with a nice tang to it. Overall, I'd go back more for the atmosphere and the wings than the pizza. It's a good hangout spot, just a few tweaks away from being really good.

The sesame is fine with lox cream cheese, and the lox sandwich on onion was a filling breakfast. I additionally tried the chocolate pastry, and while they were kind enough to warm it for me, I likely would not order it again. It resembles a pain au chocolat if you compressed all of the fluffy, flaky layers. I came at the best time, because right after I ordered a steady and I mean steady hoard of locals arrived. They seem to stay busy! The couple who ordered after me, did receive their order before me and I felt somewhat unwelcome (still not sure what it was my first visit), but my second visit was fine. We got there during a busy dinner hour and the restaurant was half full. Initially everything was great. I was pushing him in a wheelchair and a young lady came to open the door for us. Then she disappeared. The hostess sat us by the entrance because there aren't any tables with big space for a wheelchair. She had to ask a male employee seemed to be a leader for approval. Not sure why there were so many lights and the restaurant was dark like a dungeon. I had a hard time seeing the menu. I ended up taking a picture and lightening it on my phone in order to read it. My friend already knew what to get. He seems to be a regular here. We ordered a strawberry lemonade for him and I got a cup of hot water. That water became a lifesaver. I called it holy water because my friend had to rinse the stained utensils in the cup. For me, I couldn't really see the dirty forks because it was too dark. They brought us a loaf of bread and a scoop of butter in a cup. I immediately looking for the utensils wrapped in a cloth napkin. There was a gigantic knife and 2 forks. I didn't see any butter knives. So, I cut the bread with steak knife and used it to spread butter. I really don't know how other customers would eat the bread. Because it's too dark in there. I ordered Lemon Garlic Chicken with Brussels Sprouts and mashed potatoes as sides. I guess the waitress had hearing problems. I got broccoli instead. I pointed at the menu especially said BRUSSELS not BROCCOLI. Hello? Do you need a hearing aid? I didn't complain because the chicken was f*cking salty as hell. So does the butter on the mashed potatoes. I think they trying to kill me. My friend seemed to like his dish. Except, he asked for a loaded potato and immediately changed to mashed potatoes. He got the big potato sitting in the plate and waitress rushed over to replace it with a mashed potato. He asked for steak sauce for his lamb chop. It was odd because it was Parmesan crusted already. I don't know if I would come back. Or, I'll order something that is easier to pronounce and with a big picture. And, I'll ask for steamed vegetables with butter on the side.
