As a sandwich lover I was super excited about this place. Meat quality was great. Large selection is a plus I think overall it was a solid sandwich. It wasn't dry. Had good flavor. I love the marinated tomato's and mozz. I think overall the sandwich didn't have any mind blowing experience. But super solid.
TikTok brought me here and I'm forever grateful ! I've been getting the Stallone every time I come because I fell in love after first bite! TT tells you to try it hot but haven't done it yet! Pro tip- If you order online, it doesn't say it comes hot so just put it in the notes/or call the store & they'll heat it up for you !
The food came out fast, considering there was a crowd of people. The line moved very quickly, the restaurant was clean with. The amount of food that came out was significant, the bread was pretty much a foot-long and yes, indeed very crusty! The chicken Parm was very hot and the melted cheese put the flavor over the top. The turkey melt in my opinion was slightly better as it was my preference of what I ordered. I did not realize the portions would be so big and maybe would like to see if they can provide half orders in the future.
I visited this new Tony's a few weeks ago for Sunday lunch. I was excited to see this new outpost of Tony's because I have dined at the original up in Montgomery County near Lake Conroe. That was a 5 star visit. I ordered the DiCaprio cold sandwich which is their chicken salad sandwich that also comes with cranberry pecans, cheese and bacon. With chips and a fountain drink and tax my bill was $16.50. A real deal. The meal was ready in about 10 minutes. The chicken salad here is simply the best. Extremely flavorful with the creamy chicken salad mixed with cranberry pecans. Yes you can taste it. Add to it the bacon and cheese and absolutely delicious bread together makes for the perfect sandwich. From a taste perspective, this is as good as it gets. Price wise it is a value for what you get both in quality and quantity. This outpost is about 20 miles south of the original and the folks of Tomball are lucky to have it. My only ask for Tony's is how about bringing the next one another 15-20 miles further south for Houston's sake? You have a winning combination here but come further south where more people live so that they can enjoy your goodness. Please!
The sandwiches here are fantastic. Lots of combinations and options for deli meats. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant setting was casual but comfortable. We also ordered a cannoli and it was super fresh. The only disappointment was the "crusty Italian roll" - the sub buns were not crusty at all. They were chewy, which likely means the bread was made the day before. I wouldn't promise a crusty roll if I couldn't deliver on that consistently.
This place totally blew me away! I don't always have high expectations when going to a deli--how high can the ceiling for sandwiches really be? Well, I can confidently say: very high. My partner and I ordered The Martin and The Stallone, both toasted, to share. Both of these sandwiches were incredible. Truly some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They were rich, flavorful, and packed with high quality ingredients. While The Stallone is arguably their most revered menu item, I think I actually enjoyed The Martin even more. While I did love The Stallone, it was almost *too* rich and salty. The Martin felt more balanced, like I could just keep eating it and not get sick. But it still held the same complex flavors. I also think a standout part of the sandwiches was the bread itself--fluffy on the inside, toasted to perfection, and sprinkled with oil and parmesan. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

They are super generous with the oils and seasoning- in a good way. I've tried a few different options and my favorite is the Stallone, their Italian sandwich. It's offered under the Cold Sandwich section, but you can request for any of their sandwiches to come toasted, which I highly recommend. Their usual 12" size is extremely filling for most people. Their sandwiches keep really well and I prefer to just save half of a 12" for later instead of sizing down to a 7".. all the oil and seasonings make it taste even better later in the day, as long as you store the leftovers safely. Service is consistently friendly and helpful, even though the food can take some time to come out. It's a pretty popular spot so the line can get a little long and the seating a little full, but nothing overwhelming. This is truly a great sandwich shop that I think everyone should have a chance to try. - Ambiance: 4/5 - Food: 10/5 - Service: 5/5
I tried Tony's in Magnolia years ago when Yelp put them on everyone's radar for being #1 in sandwiches, and I remember they were amazing but that drive was just too much to justify going out there, and I kind of forgot about them. I'm not sure what reminded me of this place, but I was so excited to see that they have this location, which is only 30 minutes away now. The sandwiches are still amazing here. It's funny because the pictures in their menu look so good, but once you get your order, you realize those pictures don't even do the sandwiches justice. Here's what we had: Minnelli sandwich on crusty sub bread- 5/5 fantastic flavors and freshness. It comes on a sub roll but next time I want to try it on the marble rye. Chicken parm sandwich - 5/5 so saucy and delicious. Nothing is overly seasoned so the freshness of it all shines through. Carrot cake - 3/5 not bad but I've had better. I could taste the refrigerator flavor so that part bothered me. I wouldn't get this again. Cream Puffs - 5/5 but I wouldn't order this one again either. The cream puffs are fantastic, but you only get 5 little puffs for almost five dollars. It's just not worth the money. Side note: the menu listed eclairs but the guy who took our order, Slim, said they don't sell that anymore. Slim, btw, was super nice and helpful. I saw a few complaints about customer service but I didn't have any issues with Slim! Definitely recommend this place and their sandwiches! I'm planning on trying other flavors next time!
Tony's Italian Deli is easily one of the best Italian sandwiches I've had in my entire life! The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is professional and courteous, and for the price you simply will not find a better Italian sandwich anywhere in the area. We ordered The Stallone and The Rocky, and both were fantastic with their own unique flavors. Each sandwich was made with generous amounts of gourmet meats, and the bread was fresh, airy, and perfectly crispy. The red peppers on The Rocky were especially delicious, and the combination of meats and pesto on The Stallone was amazing. Both sandwiches were drizzled with olive oil and red wine vinegar, which absolutely put them over the top, the kind of touch you'd expect from a genuine Italian restaurant. The value is outstanding! For only about $17 per person for a 12 inch sandwich, bag of chips, and bottomless fountain soda. The dining area was kept continuously clean, the staff was friendly and professional, and while there were steady crowds, it never felt overwhelming. It was a really enjoyable, simple, and comfortable atmosphere that fit the meal perfectly. Overall, I give Tony's Italian Deli two enthusiastic thumbs up! They deserve every one of Yelp's five stars! This is truly one of the best sandwich shops I've ever visited, and I will definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommended fantastic sandwich shop!
Felt like I was walking into an Italian deli in NYC! There's a variety of "Carnegie" choices and we decided to order the Stallone and build your own pastrami. The bread was super soft and food was delicious!! Staff was nice and patiently answered some of our questions. Shop was crowded but there were some outdoor seats. Definitely will be stopping by again!

Amazing sandwiches! I love the devito! Like having a pizza in a sandwich. I like that they have 7inch, that is more than a Enough for me. I feel they are hidden would be cool the have another location. Staff is always great! read more

Oh yes! The hype is real! This place lives up to its name. The sandwiches are to die for. I really like a good sandwich and this place is it. You are treated with a warm welcome and there are menus you can grab at the counter. There's a hot sandwich line up and and cold sandwich line up all Italian names (cute). There's salads and sides but whose going for the salad... I do love salads too maybe I'll try that one day but for now I will try multiple sandwiches first lol. I have one down lol and a few more to go. This place will definitely be in our rotation when we want a good sandwich. A good sandwich must have good bread and yes this place is it. The bread it buttery crunchy and pillowy. It's a small shop with seating good for a quick lunch and there's a little outdoor patio area again good for a quick lunch. Hubby and I had hot sandwiches and will move down the list lol to try more. They didn't receive an award for nothing! Well deserving. Oh and there's a bambino menu for the kiddos and paper plate drawings displayed all over the walls really cute for the kids. read more

Finally got to try this place! This place can get pretty busy--we went on a weekend--and there were no seats inside when we got there. Luckily there was some outdoor seating available. As for sandwiches, we got half egg salad and half tuna salad, as well as the beef melt. Everything was very good and the bread was super toasted and crispy. The tuna salad was heavy on the tuna which I am personally not a huge fan of. I got tired of this sandwich a few bites in. As for the egg salad sandwich, the egg salad was super creamy and almost refreshing--definitely the better half to me. The beef melt was definitely on the heavier side and tasted almost like pizza. Would definitely come back to try other items! read more

"Its a walk up counter that asks for a 15%+ tip just for the privilege of taking your order." Tony's has always been a place my buddies and I would make a stop buy whenever we're around the area. Their italian sandwiches are always so spot on. From their crispy crust of the bread, to the ooey-gooey cheeziness of their italian sandwiches. The flavors and quantity are always on point. At this location they had a 7 inch option of where I got a cold sandwich. It REALLY looks super sad however taste was pretty good, as I did put a generous amount of hot sauce on it. My friends got something delicious, a veggie sandwich where he added some meat on top. Service was aight. Its a walk up counter that asks for a 15%+ tip just for the privilege of taking your order. Yeah automatic one star minus for that lol. Otherwise, great sandwiches and great place! read more

Went for lunch, greeted as I walked in, wasn't one of those over the top greets, it was pleasant. Ordered the small meatball sub combo with chips and a fountain drink. One thing I didn't care for is the tip part. The cashier took my order, turned around to grab me my chips and hand me my receipt. I had to get my own cup and get up to get my own order. The small meatball sub was a good size for me, plus it's lunch. I don't want to be overstuffed and miserable the rest of my day! Lol! It was a perfect lunch size! The meatballs were so delicious the bread that they use is amazing and the melted cheese was a perfect addition!! This is my second sandwich to try there and I will definitely be back again to try another one! They have Italian music playing in the restaurant, it's not so loud that you can't hear yourself think or carry on a conversation. I recommend Tony's Italian Deli for anyone who wants to try an authentic Italian sandwich!! read more

This place is super popular and I can see people really enjoying it or not really caring for it depending on their tastes. For me, it didn't really fit my palette and so I didn't really love the sandwich. I ordered the da vinci and, overall, I just found their sandwiches to be a bit too heavy, a little bit greasy, and perfectly overwhelming, despite my sandwich being mostly greens. However, even while I didn't really like it, there were also people in my party who tried these sandwiches for the first time and enjoyed it, and return customers who already knew they liked it. read more

It's Friday- who's cookin? Not me honey! So off to Tony's I went. My sister and I love a good sandwich thanks to our granny! She makes the best but today we chose to try Tony's Italian Deli in Spring! We both ordered the Chicken Parm on a crusty Italian sub, BABY that was soooooo good! The cheese melted perfectly and what I thought would be a heavy meal was so light and fulfilling, perfect for a Friday night. The subs or Carnegies as they call it range from $7.99 to $12.95. I am definitely going back for a cold one but not during rush hour traffic lol it is a little far from my side of town. But I'd say give it a try you won't be disappointed. read more

Tony's never disappointed me! I can always count on them for the best hot sub my tastebuds ever encountered. My go to is The Devito, it's like pizza in a sub; it's amazing!!!! The service is amazing and quick even with a long line, it goes by quick. My favorite thing to do is looking around the walls for all the different paper plate art they have hanging up, most of them crack me up. read more

I've been avoiding the Spring location of Tony's, going out of my way to comfort an irrational fear that somehow this location would differ from the Conroe location. I must be boo boo the fool, because the only differences are the drive thru addition and the fact that it's easier to find parking at this location. The sandwiches are still better than any you can find in a 20 mile radius, the service is still amazing, and there's generally enough space to snag a seat indoors. Tony's remains a spot to take friends and sandwich avoists when you aim to impress! read more

This was bitter sweet. I thought the drive was going to be all worth it but it was just another social media hype. I would say the food was good but nothing to be crazy about. I know I shouldn't judge by the pics but the sandwiches did not look anything like in the menu. You think you are going to get meat from beginning to end bite but that's not the case. The service was average, not too friendly at the counter it was more like pay and go. The deli itself had enough sitting inside and outside. The sandwich had good flavor and although the bread is very fresh, there is a good 3 inches of just bread left on each end. The balsamic glaze was on point. Not terrible but certainly not the best. I've had better, no doubt. Kudos on the advertising though, I'm sure others love this place but it just didn't leave the I can't wait to go back vibes for me. read more

Drove an hour to try out Tony's Deli. Between being number one on Yelp and the social media mentions, it was hard not to resist their reputation and I love me a good hoagie. The menu looks great with awesome combinations. Walking in, I was happy to see a decent seating area but most of the empty tables were riddled with crumbs from the last patrons. We looked over the menu and placed our order. I originally chose the voodoo chips but was handed spicy crawfish. I had to hand them back before the hostess explained they were out of voodoo chips. It would have been nice to know that and so I could choose a different flavor instead of being given a flavor I don't like. So I went with salt and vinegar. I ordered the Sinatra but I'm pretty sure there was only salami (no sopressata) in the sandwich bc it was definitely lacking in meat. The bread definitely overpowered the sandwich. Don't get me wrong, The bread was great - soft with a nice bounce. But overall disappointing considering all the amazing reviews. Not a fan of how they "roll" the meat either. Before we left I went back to order the sweets on the menu but they no longer sell eclairs. I think they would really benefit from updating their menu. Seemed they were sold out of a lot of items as well for a Saturday (chicken, apparently sopressata, eclairs) Cannoli was okay, filling consistency was on the thinner side. On my way back to Dallas for the winter break, I stopped by Tony's Italian Delicatessen in Spring. Their original location in Montgomery had won #1 rated restaurant in the nation by Yelp back in 2018. They also have a location in Katy. This place was packed, the parking lot was full of cars and there were plenty of people waiting for their sandwiches already when I got there. They are known for their cold and baked carnegies, the most popular one being the Stallone. I decided to try the Sinatra, which is somewhat similar. It's stuffed with sopressata, Genoa salami, fresh mozzarella balls, marinated Roma tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, basil pesto, and sub oil on a crusty Italian roll. They are somewhat pricy for a sandwich but they are known for their high quality ingredients. Their sub is also very very big, it's about the size of my forearm and hand combined. The bread was soft and bouncy. The tomatoes, mozzarella ball, and pesto give the sandwich a really fresh taste. Definitely makes it taste healthier. The sub oil gives the sandwich a fragrant smell and definitely enhances the flavor. If you like a good, fresh, and large high quality sandwich then this is for you. If you care more about the meats then I would suggest ordering the Stallone instead. read more
Love me a good corned beef sandwich! Tony's does it just right - from the perfectly toasted bread, to the creamy fragrant basil pesto sauce, and the mouthwatering delicious corned beef. I built my own sandwich but they have a variety of Italian subs to choose from. The size is pretty substantial so come hungry! I took half of mine to-go for later :) The store is kept clean and tidy. I'm impressed that the dining area and restrooms are well kept, both free of trash and have the necessary supplies, especially with the amount of customers I saw. If they were busy at 3pm on a Thursday, they must be doing something right. My sandwich came out pretty fast, but I'd suggest being patient - it looks like more complex sandwiches take time to prepare, which is well worth the wait for the quality from my personal experience. Give Tony's a try if you're craving a hearty wholesome Italian sub, or if you just want to try something new. read more

Delicious!! My husband and I were looking for a quick dinner spot while we were near The Woodlands. I had saved this restaurant on my "must try list" and I'm so glad I did! It wasn't crowded inside, and it was quick ordering at the counter. The only slight negative was the Christmas music they had playing was very loud. About half way through they finally turned it down quieter. The staff were friendly and explained their menu well. It's not overwhelming, but there are a lot of choices. My husband ordered the meatball and I went with the cashiers recommendation of the Stallone warmed. The portions are HUGE!!!! You could eat half a sandwich and save the rest for later. Everything was yummy and I'm so glad we tried this place out. I really wish we lived closer so we could enjoy this more often. read more
How this shop doesn't have a full five stars is beyond me! I've had Tony's on my list for quite some time since they're Yelp' #1 rated restaurant in America! That is an incredibly huge honor for a restaurant to hold, and knowing they were 20 mins north of me made it that much better to say yes to having to try them out! I was on my way back in town when I decided to go ahead and swing by on the way home and I'm glad I did! I got there just shy of noon, and thank goodness, bc as soon as I placed my order, the line was out the door! Hale greeted me upon entering the store with a great big smile. He'd asked the couple in front of me if they'd been there before, and they said no, so I took a step forward to hear the to spiel of all their offerings. Everything looked amazing and it made it hard to know which to pick, but when it was my turn, I went with the Rocky toasted!! Que Magnifique!!! I recieved my order in less than the 15 mins time I was given and I was so excited! I grabbed a table and sat down and opened the box to this heavenly sandwich! It smelled soo good and was so hot and fresh! And of course the phone had to eat first! When the photoshoot was over, the sandwich was so hot I didn't quite know how to pick it up or take a first bite, but ya girl made it happen! That first bite with the peppers and all the meats and gooey cheese and the housemate balsamic oil was just, out of this world!! There's no way I could finish even half the sandwich and I just wanted to continue to devour it!! I can see why this place is rated so highly. The ingredients are super fresh, the meats are just perfectly tender and delicious, and the bread toasted just beautifully! I'll certainly be coming back to try some others! While headed home from a visit to my youngest daughter and her family in Houston, I stopped at a place they recommended and that place was Tony's Italian Deli. It was spacious and had several tables and readily available condiments and they have very nicely appointed bathrooms, too. Blake N. served me at the counter, took my order, payment and a few moments later it was waiting with a friendly gent at the pickup window. I had The Danza, which is Corned Beef on one side and Pastrami on the other, both sides dressed with Deli Mustard, Melted Provolone and Parmesan with they Balmasic & Oil on a Sub Roll baked freshly in house. It absolutely ROCKED and I can't wait to go again because there are tons of choices on that menu. I can't wait to try the Antipasro Salad! Give them a try you'll be glad you did. read more
