I ordered for pick up and that service was pretty quick. The place seems very family friendly so if you have kids it's nice The food: Let me start by saying the order was correct. I ordered the hamburger with a beef patty. It was eh. The patter was super thick and chewy. The bread looked like it was made from scratch but it was also kind of doughy. I wish they would have left it in longer. The fries were barley there probably 12 fries and eight tots. The portions were horrendous. I don't think I would try again. read more

Great place. Great food, we went for a end of season party with the kids baseball team. The waiter we had was amazing. He was very attentive and made sure all the tickets were correct and that everyone had what they needed at all times. Definitely one of the best servers I ever had. I loved all the volleyball/pickleball courts. Service was the drawback - but it wasn't worse than a typical icehouse. Food was pretty good - I got the chipotle chicken sandwich. The avocados were missing :( Beer was good and cheap. The chips and salsa was good. Even the live music was pretty good too. Overall, I'd come back here again. I had a good time. Was my first time visiting and have always heard good things. Food was good drinks and great environment is nice. When I ordered a chicken quesadilla and told our server to put everything else on the side not inside as he stated it normally comes with everything inside, which we understood as pico and avocado. He then asked "wait do you want the cheese and chicken on the side as well?" Me and my friend group looked in disbelief. I guess he didn't understand what a chicken quesadilla is. You gotta know what you are in for. This is not a date-night couples place. This is a sports bar vibe with lots of kids running around. Perfect for us as Grandparents of 8 grandchildren ages 5 and under. They have lots of room to run and play with their cousins. The food is bar food basically. I enjoyed my burger and fries and there are excellent kid options (except no apple juice or milk which I thought was strange with so many kids around). Our service was fine. Could definitely be sharper and quicker but I think they have a very lean staff who seemed like high school kids versus trained staff. This is an easy five star review. I have been living in the neighborhood for about 13 years now and I cannot believe I've never been here. My son, however, has been coming here often on for a few years with his friends from high school. With that being said, I'm very happy I stopped in. Great customer service, great food, great outdoor experience with 65° weather. We had a great time. Food: the chips and queso were really good. We also got an order of buffalo wings for the table which were absolutely amazing. One thing I will note the 9.99 for six wings is quite high but I have to admit, though the wings were amazing. I really enjoyed the wings. However, they need to adjust the price of the wings because I will probably not get wings again because 9.99for six wings is simply not enough wings. The bacon cheeseburger was really good as well. So are the tater tots. Everything we had was amazing. Everyone on the table really enjoyed their food. It was about six of us and this was all our first time and we all had a great time. I will definitely be back here soon. The customer service was GREAT! The driving range is NOT worth $45 p/h. It is really run down. Does not look at all like the pics, looking back at them, they did a good job at the angles etc to make it look better. The rentable clubs were not a full set with a wooden driver, 2 - 7 irons and 1 club the grip was unraveling. Our table had old food and drinks on it and when they finally came by he thought it was our food. Again, super nice guy ... driving range just not worth that much per hour at all. All I can say is fun fun fun! I've been passing Swanny's for like how many years saying "I need to drop in there one day" & have never done so until last weekend. Man I've been cheating myself LOL It was a lazy Saturday & weather was nice out so there were a few folks. I love the layout. A little play area for kiddos, a field for soccer & looks like there's prepping for either volleyball court or something. The back area has the golf practicing area. Which is really cool. They even give classes! At 1st we sat at the bar & the bartender was great. We then moved to the back patio & it was sooooo chill. The young lady working on the patio was just as cool. There's a large open area as well that looks like they have live music or even private events. Like I could see someone doing a country/barnyard style wedding. Plenty space. Drinks were fantastic! Also ordered the loaded fries style app & it was delicious. We were meeting friends for dinner so we didn't want to order big items, but will most definitely be back. Sergio and Johnny are two names I remember- they are awesome- but every server/bartender I've had here has been superb. This is such a fun neighborhood restaurant/bar/place to hang out at! I have not tried any of the food here yet, but I love the amount of beers they have on tap, along with their driving range!! They have recently revamped their driving range and it is SO NICE. Think about TopGolf, but in the neighborhood. We rented a bay with some friends and it was a great time. It looks great and is such a fun experience. I highly recommend coming here if you want a nice, chill place to hang out at or hit some golf balls. I've been here several times to play sand volleyball. The vibe is good with plenty of things to do between the volleyball courts, corn hole, shuffleboard, pool and there is typically a band on the patio. They have a kickball league on Sundays. There's a nice fenced in sandy playground for the kids. I haven't tried any of the food aside from the fries but what I like most about this place is how much room there is inside and out. Stumbled upon this place after being invited by my husband's soccer team for a scrimmage. Truly a tucked away gem; really nice landscaping, outdoor seating, great comfort food/drinks, and surprisingly live music. Since my first visit I've been here several times, each time has been pleasant. I love the fact that it's the perfect place to bring the whole family as you can safely watch the kiddos while dining. It was originally a golf course, but now they are transitioning into a soccer field. As far as the food, their burgers are deeelish. The buns are buttery & soft, and I also like the stuffed nachos. We love the concerts here! So fun for the whole family and great bands to see. It's right across the street from where we live so it's super convenient too. Service is super slow, any time we go. It can take a long time when you're there that's for sure so come prepared for that! If you have kids they will stay entertained running around playing on the playground or in the sand though! For the most part we have had great experiences with staff there was one male bartender and the main bar last Friday who was less than friendly, seemed annoyed with other staff members as well as his customers. I'm glad it wasn't my first time being there because he would have impacted my desire to ever return. I hope it was just an off day and he's feeling better so everyone has a good experience, himself included when he's at work. Can't remember oir waitress name but she was awesome, from San Diego & had the bubbly fun Cali personality to match. The place has an oldtime country feel, chairs r hard metal & older, tables to match. Don't come dressed up or in heels it's not that kinda place. The food menu has great variety, mainly bar like food, burgers, salad, sandwiches, nachos etc. They do have $2 Taco Tuesday but the hours are only from 11-2pm so unless your on lunch break you'll miss it. They also have Happy hr deals on drinks $1, $2, $3 off select drinks. The prices are fair for the items they serve. Onto the food: Turkey Burger - Great bun, nice produce, very very dry turkey patty with no seasoning. It was hard for me to choke it down even after I drinched it in bbq sauce & mayo. Total let down. Stuffed Nachos - FANTASTIC! Great seasonings, lots of cheese, nice oily tortilla like homemade, little spice, tender juicy chicken this dish was very satisfying. It's not a large dish so ordering it as an appetizer is suggested of your hungry. There aboit 6 pieces of 2 bites per piece. Comes with a guacamole ranch dip very nice, little on the watery side though. All in all great place for entertainment, drinks & laughs with friends or family. Very kid friendly location. read more

Sweet potato fries were burnt not crispy but flat out burnt..... Spoke with a snotty manager saying that's the amount of mushrooms they give out as if they took the time to make them homemade?? We had our season-ending party for my two youth soccer teams here last night. The management accommodated our group of 50+ kids and parents wonderfully with our own separate section of tables (I had asked for this earlier in the day). Our two servers did a fantastic job for our group despite the chaos with all those kids. The kids totally enjoyed the amenities, mostly playing in the sand and singing karaoke. We celebrated our 20th high school year reunion. It was a little disorganized initially with the outside bar. The outdoor section was very big and surrounded by trees for shade. We had a taco bar and played music up on the stage. I'd highly recommend this location to host a party or large gathering. This service is HORRIBLE and I was not pleased at all. The Turkey Burger was undercook and didn't even look like it should be consumed. They were playing volleyball by our food which I hated. The live music I loved most. The waitress took over 30 minutes to bring me my alcoholic beverage drink and explained that she forgot with BO apology! The fries I swear they had 10 fries on the plate with the burger as if they had already been sitting out and they were cold! The bloody beer drink was so horrible I asked it to be returned and requested nothing else. The waitress had no suggestions and stated she didn't know much about the drink menu! My date and I asked to speak to the manager and discussed our horrible experience in which he comped the meal except the Jameson straight my date had and explained they were transitioning over to new management and apologized. One of my favorite places in Houston. Toptracer driving range - essentially the same as Topgolf, just missing a couple of the games. You do need to bring your own clubs, or rent a set of house clubs for $15/person. Bar has a decent selection of draft beers. Food is standard bar food (fried apps, burgers, sandwiches, etc) but prepared well. Pet friendly, family friendly. We have a fairly large group who has regularly gone to Swanny's to enjoy the music of Honeyboy Nelson. During a recent evening, the service was really bad... took an hour to get food orders and, in fact, we noticed other patrons leaving because of it. At the end of the night, Kent Nelson, lead singer of Honeyboy Nelson, respectfully shared that feedback with the owner... who then immediately responded with "F___ You..., then don't 'f-ing play here anymore." Is that an owner anyone wants to support? Don't think so. Unless Honeyboy Nelson is brought back, with a sincere apology, our "large group" won't be back. Ever. Anything you order of the menu is great. But if you're on your lunch break I don't recommend you go. The service is not great at all. We waited 20 minutes while the only waitress skipped us and tended to another table of a bigger party. Then she went to talk to someone at the bar and never came to us. What's worse is I think she's the owner. I'll probably give them another chance because the food is so good and the place itself is cool. I have been going to Swanny's for years, I have had multiple parties there and I have even had my family and friends say it's a cute place to have parties. I have never in my previous visits been treated like shit. Today I had my son's birthday party and the waiter was anything but sweet, attentive and very nice. Now the manager is another thing, I was told by the waiter that he wanted to charge me $30 because my kids and my guests kids were in the pickleball court, the manager claimed he had told the kids to get off the courts and the third time he told the waiter to charge me $30 to which the waiter responded to him that she was going to come talk to me. Never once did the manager come and talk ti me or my husband, which I would have gladly talked to the kids mind you they are only 12. Then my older son and a couple of kids went to hit in the golf range and the manager went out there and talked shit to a bunch of kids again never once coming to talk to an adult. He told the kids,"that they needed to stop stealing balls out of the suites or he was going to charge their parents $45, and then he proceeded to tell them that they had been running around tearing shit up!!" We were having a party for kids and our kids never once tore anything up, I had never once had any problems before and I have had about 6 parties there every time spending about $300-$800 a party. Clearly the manager doesn't have no f*c*i*g customer service, my son told me he felt like he was just watching the kids even when they were playing out in the open field. What pisses me off was the way he talked to a bunch of 12 year olds, instead of coming to the parents we would have been more than happy to talk to our kids. I have always enjoyed coming to swannys even tho I live closer to the woodlands because the atmosphere was cool and I enjoyed throwing parties there but I will never in my life come back and spend my money there again. The food is not that great it's ok but I will be taking my business down to district 249 or somewhere closer to my house where I actually feel welcome. Very disappointing, I will be telling my friend and family about this and advising that they don't go to swannys again. read more

We hosted a fundraiser on a Saturday at Swanny's which is a staple in our community, family owned small business. They made GREAT improvements to their establishment with the PPE money. Everything is clean, staff is more than accommodating & food is YUMMY! Family friendly, dog friendly, golf driving range, putt putt, and catch n release pond. 2 great bars that serve diff drinks. When ordering a beer, make sure you ask first what the price is. They do not publish their beer prices on the menu. When I got my bill I was charged $15 for a plastic cup of beer, that's right no frosty glass. The bartender suggested I speak to the owner about it who was seated behind me. When I asked the owner about it, he was very defensive and told me to "go F&@k your grandmother". Quite the experience! Won't be back.
