Hi id really like to say but I received AMAZING service from KELLI at caddy shack. I mean she was absolutely amazing. I cannot express how great of a service she provided. I work in the service industry and she absolutely went above and beyond for everybody that walked through the building. I've visited this bar, which also serves a pretty decent amount of food, a few times now so it was time to write a review. Some when it's not busy and some when it's very busy around happy hour. Their hh is from 3-6 daily where they have $2 off shots and cocktails. I've tried a few menu items too. This latest visit I tried the 8pc buffalo wings. Many bars have wings, and they should be at least edible if not awesome. I know Texas isn't Anchor Bar in Buffalo, but good wings are not hard to pull off for most bars. I chose the gochujang wings since they were recommended and turns out they are really good. I didn't ask for the celery and carrots, which they charge more for, but they gave them to me anyway. They were playing mostly reggae music during my latest visit. The service was fairly friendly, however, on one occasion the bartender was more concerned taking care of things at one end of the bar and rarely came to the other end where I was sitting. This was during a slow period, so she had no excuse to almost ignore me. Their menu is misleading with a couple of items. For example, the chicken wings. They display 4 prices, the top 2 prices for wings alone, and bottom are for wings served with celery, carrots and a dipping sauce, at least so I thought. Turns out I was wrong and the top 2 prices are not prices. It's actually 8 wings for 14 and 12 wings for 20. This is a very strange way and they should fix their menu since the waitress said many people have questioned this when it came time to pay their bill. I wanted to love this bar since Caddyshack is one of my favorite all time movies, but I just haven't had a great cocktails there yet and service has been spotty. read more

Caddy Shack (hereafter referred to as CS) has earned the lowest rating of any venue I have visited in the past seven years of writing Yelp reviews. This rating was solidified upon receiving my bill this evening after my first and LAST visit to this venue. I'll start with some positive remarks. CS has a cool vibe/aura. CS is a destination location. CS has lots of fun food options. My bartender at CS was an attentive server. The patrons I encountered at CS are locals who come to CS because it's like Cheers, a place where everybody knows your name and are always glad you came. So, why am I giving CS a negative review? For the following reason: I ordered a vodka martini with the house vodka. The cost of the drink is $ 12.00, and that's fair. I had 3 Martinis. But instead of $ 36.00 (12.00 x 3), I was charged $ 72.00. Upon reviewing the tab, I hit the roof. I asked the bartender for an explanation. She told me I was being charged double, meaning twice the price, because a martini has two shots of alcohol. Seriously. I am a professional bartender who has worked at five-star restaurants and bars nationwide. None double the price of a martini because the cocktail has more alcohol than, say, a vodka and soda. In most venues, a martini costs between $ 12.00 and $ 15.00, not $ 24.00. Because CS gouged the price of the martini, the bartender suffered as I did not leave her a tip. Was that fair? No. However, she paid the penalty, through no fault of her own, for changing me an outrageous drink price as mandated by the venue's owners. Hence, as I write this review, I am upset, and rightly so. In summary, CS has lost me as a customer for a lifetime. Consequently, CS earns zero stars. My advice to people contemplating patronizing CS is don't for the reasons I have expressed, read more

Unfortunately I think the positive comments are coming from friends of the establishment. We arrived at 5:30 PM on a Friday and asked for the happy hour menu and was told there was no happy hour menu since they had only been open for three weeks. The drinks were a little bit on the pricey side that you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Service was slow and when we finally got our food one person in our group didn't get theirs and we had to ask repeatedly to get it. Some individuals who ordered sliders were supposed to get fries on the side and we never got those either. While it is a small bar they only had one waitress and she seemed unable to wait on the four groups that were dining. Maybe it's just grand opening glitches but they didn't seem well prepared for the small amount of people that were dining that day read more
