Thank you to Josh for making the best mezcal sour ever!

Thank you to Josh for making the best mezcal sour of all time! If you like an extra kick, ask for it with Hellfire Bitters. Ambiance is intimate and loungey. We always have a nice time here every time we visit. They have a small menu of nibbles, we tried the bruschetta and enjoyed it.

This spot is a hidden gem! No need to drive to houston for a swanky high end bar vibe. Drinks were amazing!

The Blind Finch in Spring, Texas is such a charming, nostalgic speakeasy and just like its sister spot, The Thistle Draft shop, it's run perfectly by the same owner. You can really tell the care and passion that goes into both venues. The Blind Finch has a cozy, quaint vibe that feels like stepping back in time. It's always busy (in a good way!), and the atmosphere is warm, lively, and welcoming. Their craft cocktails are outstanding, and the menu pairs perfectly with the speakeasy feel. Whether you're stopping in for a cocktail, a date night, or a laid-back evening with friends, The Blind Finch never disappoints. A must-visit in Spring!

Neat little spot, inside decor is prohibition era which is a nice touch. They do have snacks and food, and a large drink menu. Visit and find out! I had fun. Drinks were about $15 each.

We got on a walk-in waitlist and were paired up with two other small groups to share a sofa seating area inside the speakeasy. The ambiance was nice and moody and the bartender and waitstaff were prompt, but the drinks were really hit or miss. We got the Caribbean sunset (solid), margarita (standard), and ube martini (did not taste of ube at all, though they nailed the color).

Another speakeasy for the books! Entrance to this speakeasy bar is through the back door, there will be caution written on the door, however someone at the brewery next door told me to knock 17 times!! The security got a kick out of that, and the door was not locked. Reservations recommended, they are busy during the weekend. We walked pass the wall of pictures and checked out the bathroom of mirrors. Then you enter this room, dim lighting with lights from the bar. We ordered a couple of appetizers to go with our drinks. Devil eggs with fried chicken on top, and tuna tartar with coleslaw and melon balls. Cocktails were also good.

The service was utterly horrendous. Vibes were a 5/5, but service was a complete -100/10. If you don't want to be treated like dirt DONT COME HERE. For a fancy speakeasy you would think the service would be at least decent. Although it was a Saturday night, it wasn't super busy. Me and my friends had a reservation and sat at a table and had to wait 30 minutes before our existence was acknowledged, and that's ONLY because we flagged him down. Now how long would you say it would take to make 3 drinks? 15 minutes? IMO i think that's more than enough time. Well, it took them 40 minutes and we had to flag the server down AGAIN to remind him that we ordered drinks. I also think he doesn't even know the drinks bc I feel like his recommendations were mid. Also the way we had to essentially beg for water is insane. Man didn't come up to us ONCE to ask how things were / if he could get us anything. Yea like just let us rot away i guess. Anyways, we were down for a second round and this time we waited 45 minutes before we were able to even find the server. How fcking ridiculous is that. When we asked where our drinks were, he had the nerve to say "oh what drinks did you guys get again?" Like oh maybe the drinks that we asked 45 minutes ago? So if you want to wait forever for you drinks or have a shitty service this is your place to go.

Such a fun spot for great drinks. Rookie mistake, as I've never been to a speakeasy, I didn't realize the entrance was in the back but thankfully my husband did. Once we got it, the decor, the vibe, the drinks were all great. The deviled eggs were just okay, but that's our bad because the waitress recommended other things.

Wanted to take my husband to a cool speak easy and went to check out this place after the reviews I saw and I must say it was a pretty cool spot. We legit almost got lost trying to find it but then I saw the secret door in the back. We loved the vibe inside, the music and the bar is absolutely stunning. We ordered a few drinks and sat in a cozy spot. We had a charcuterie board that was absolutely delicious. I will say most people sat at the bar and most of the servers hung out there but our service was good no complaints but we also came in very early before lots of people got there. It's a great place to chill and not be in a hurry.

Fruity mocktail (back) and cucumber and mint cocktail in front (cannot find or remember the name :( )

This place is SO COOL. I had no idea that there was a cocktail lounge like this up in Spring!! The decor is really cool - very 1920's/prohibition style. Lots of lounge chairs and love seats and bar seating. My friend asked for a mocktail and the bartender made her a "fruity" one that was really delicious and refreshing. I got a cucumber and mint cocktail (I cannot find or remember the name). It was really refreshing and I enjoyed it, but I will probably try something new the next time that I go back. We also split the bruschetta, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, this place is perfect for a date night or a GNO and I will definitely be back.

    reservation

If you make a reservation it might not get promised. what's the point of making a reservation if you aren't going to be able to sit and enjoy . i was making a reservation around 7:30 and saw that there was availability at 8:15 for a table on their open table app. I arrived at 8:00 and advised the Host/Security of my reservation. He told me that he didn't see my name. I pulled up my phone and the reservation to confirm that i did infact have a reservation and they still turned me away. Host Said they did not see it in their system and did not have a table for me.

On the hunt for speakeasies? Look no further than The Blind Finch! No really you got to look for this place! So well hidden finding it was our favorite part! When we did the inside did not disappoint! It's like being in the 1920s for real! A nice spot for a pre dinner drink or drinks with a few apps. The wait staff was friendly and concocted our drinks with love!

Ambiance: 100% the best decorated bar in the Spring area You enter through a door at the back of the building and are transported to the prohibition era. Flapper, glam decor, cozy chairs, and moody lighting makes The Blind Finch a romantic date night spot. The cocktail presentation, large bar area, and music selection creates an upscale atmosphere for parties, ladies night, or closing a deal. The cocktails are super unique and taste amazing. For the Spring area, I find the drinks to be quite pricey but worth it. Great location for a night cap. Limited food menu (mostly small bites). I did enjoy the deviled eggs - great for sharing. It really does feel like you've been transported somewhere much more magical than a random bar off FM-2920. It's also super dark inside so difficult to keep track of time (in the best way!) This is definitely a spot I would go back to if celebrating an occasion/wanting to impress an out-of-town or cocktail connoisseur friend. Parking does get difficult on weekends given that Thistle Drafthouse is right next door. Clean and private bathrooms. Plenty of spots for social media photos. FYI there is a dress code! My husband had to remove his hat (which IMO felt a little unnecessary given that it was 5pm on a Friday and jeans are allowed but I guess I understand wanting to keep a certain "look.")

We entered to a friendly staff who sat us immediately. The vibe is very modern with some Mexican influence. We were with another couple and I think they were under the impression that this would be Tex-Mex, but it is not. For drinks I got a Mezcalina, my wife got a normal margarita normally I don't love Mezcal, but was feeling adventurous and this drink did not disappoint, it exploded with flavor and was my favorite drink I have had here. The bar program might be the best of any restaurant in the area, as it should be since they have a speakeasy as well. In my previous trip they brought us complimentary chips and salsa, but the time they brought Mexican hummus and pita. I was initially disappointed, but this was one of the more unique complimentary dishes I have had, and loved it. For starters, we got the TOSTADA CHUTORO, which was a tostada with raw fish and caviar. There were two, and although smaller bites to share, the flavor once again really shined through. I would say this is similar to a ceviche dish with really fresh fish and bright flavors.

The area it's in is very nice, with a park and plenty of parking. Walking distance to an HEB as well for last minute grocery stops. The food was ok. We ordered the costillas adobadas + the filet mignon + the enchiladas. Note that the enchiladas are actually empanadas and the menu has a typo. The food was ok. The costillas adobadas (baby back ribs) were yummy and the meat was super flavorful. However - I thought the taste was a bit too deep (intense/ rich). The filet mignon was ok, seasoned well and a bit dry. The empanadas were good too & had good flavor. Nothing really blew me away, & it was a bit pricey. The chips and salsa were really great. The ambiance is amazing though. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and really nice. They have a cool speakeasy as well (which has awesome vibes). Service was normal; standard. Our waiter was good & the food came out pretty quick. Food: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Service 4/5

My husband surprised me with brunch here last weekend and it was everything I hoped it would be. The vibe is elite. I love the way this restaurant is decorated. It was such a good ambiance & I bet it would be a great date night spot. The food was incredible. I have a favorite restaurant in Las Vegas that makes the most amazing beignets with lemon curd. I can confidently say that Bosscat leveled up and blew that favorite out of the water. If there's one thing you take away from this review, let it be that ordering the beignets is necessary. The toasted marshmallow and lemon they're served with elevate them so much. They're delicious! There were so many things on the menu we'd love to try. I'm very excited to come back and try their different menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the year!

DJ was spinning tunes inside but we opted for outdoor seating on their covered patio as it was a nice day. I gotta say I had some trepidation given our CM's earlier experiences here. But everything turned out just fine on our visit. First off I love that everything on the menu is under $20. That means we can order more. I was a bit worried that out steak and eggs would be tough because I ordered it medium rare and it came out more medium well. It's even cut already so they should've been able to tell how well done it was. But it was still tender which is actually all I really cared about. The Holy Smoked Benedict is not your traditional eggs Benedict. Instead of ham they have slices of pork belly. And it's served on a crispy biscuit (I could taste the crunch) with potatoes with a poached egg on top just like a regular Benedict. My only comment would be a little too many potatoes for my particular liking, but you can just brush them off. With the money we saved we got the beignets. They come in a sack of 5 and with a Meyer lemon curd on top side for dipping that has a dollop of melted marshmallow cream on top. They aren't traditional beignets but are really small biscuits. They tasted hot and fresh, and were nice and fluffy regardless, which again is all I really cared about. Cold water comes in an old whisky bottle and is left at your table so you can pour as much as you want when you want. I really wish more restaurants did this. The place is also now on the InKind app so make sure you sign in and pay with the app if you do that kind of stuff. InKind is free and has occasional offers that make dining even more affordable.
