Whether you're looking for expertly made drinks, a cozy spot to hang out, or a place with great energy, Tomball Social Haus is the place to be. I can't recommend it enough. It's a true gem in Tomball! Celina is an excellent bartender who truly knows her craft; she makes every drink with care and has a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued.

Went of a Friday around 6, when we first got there is was great, the bartender was attentive and took time crafting the cocktails to perfection, and there were lots of open tables. About an hour later 2 big parties came in and it got way too crowded and drinks were made with less care. Would def try again, maybe with plans to go earlier!

Cool atmosphere and great drinks. It's nice that they have heaters when needed. Musician was a little chatty, needs to talk less and play more songs.

Stopped in for a night cap and it was the perfect ending to our date night. Drinks were 10/10 and bar staff very friendly. Will return!

My Corned Beef Hash hit the spot. The rye bread and potatoes are the perfect accompaniment to the corned beef and, of course, the egg. The portion was generous, I brought my left overs home, re-heated it in a skillet and added an egg since I ate all of the eggs it was served with. It was just as tasty the second time. I also enjoyed the Corpse Reviver cocktail. They showcase their craft cocktails, but there are craft beer and wine offerings as well.

We went on a Thursday at 6:15 p.m. It was fairly busy but we were seated immediately. The waitress arrived right away and had our drinks out quick. I ordered my normal Grey Goose martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. The olives were small and were marinated which added a unique twist that I liked. My friend ordered a drink she was raving over, Dazed and Confused. It was lemony and incredibly refreshing. We started with the Foie Gras Meatballs. Delish! It's like a creamy meatball. I ordered one of the specials: Flat Iron steak (MR) with Brussel sprouts. The steak was a little on the rare side but it was still amazing. Lightly charred on the outside with a drizzle of a sauce I couldn't place. We finished with their little trifecta of desserts: Creme Brulé, Key Lime pie and chocolate mousse. It was a perfect finish to an amazing meal. Side note: my friend that recommended this restaurant had dined here 4 times in 2 weeks. She is obsessed! lol

Very laid back vibes here and on the weekend sometimes there's live music or events in the city. The patio provides a great view of the area. The margs are delicious, we ordered the skinny margs. The queso dip is also yummy. But the birra tacos were amazing especially with the extra sauce to dip it in. A+

Hee Haw is one of 3 establishments in a cute historic courtyard across from the railroad station. Definitely a fun place to stop in when strolling around the area. After chatting with the friendly staff, we ordered tacos and margaritas inside (Redfish, blackened shrimp and ground beef) and then grabbed a booth outside. Despite ordering a skinny the Marg was a little sweet. To be fair, I prefer a classic marg with just tequilla, Cointreau and lime juice, but it's so hard to get bar tenders to understand that! Anyway I digress. The good news is the tacos were perfectly cooked and pretty tasty. The red snapper tacos and blackened shrimp taco were lightly Blackened and just the right amount of Cole slaw. Hubby said his ground beef was nicely seasoned as well. All in all, a great choice for a lighter lunch on a lazy afternoon. give this place a shot next time you're in Old Tomball.

The food was incredible from the tapas to the sangria trio. I was reminded of being in Madrid Spain with my family! Sadly I must update my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. Why? Obviously the original chef has left…read moreand the quality of food preparation has declined. As this is basic Spanish food cooking technique is paramount and current chef clearly does not understand/have skills. The gazpacho was recently overly thick and creamy (more bread and olive oil) and was lacking fresh vibrant vegetable flavor. Plus it wasn't as chilled in past (did they originally use a little bit of ice during pureeing? And now stopped). The paella was a total mess. It arrived soupy with a quarter inch of liquid still in bottom of pan. While not "overcooked " to mushy. The rice was well past al dente. Obviously achieving socarrat was impossible. While yellow it was lacking ANY distinct saffron flavor that it used to have. I also did not notice any threads- have they now gone to powdered saffron and cut back on amount too???? The Torta San Sebastian was still "very good" but it's crust was overcooked and gummy. TBH, it really wasn't that bad and normally I wouldn't comment but given above complaints I feel it is part of a trend. We have been coming here about 4X per year. Will still come back to try Tapas, but again their basic Spanish Tapas require a deft cooking technique- so we'll see how those go. Oh well, As George Harrison wrote in 1970 "All Things Must Pass" This is not an uncommon trend in Mom & Pop places - once successful, staff get hired to replace overworked family and quality deteriorates I kept it at 3 stars because food wasn't terrible nor inedible. Just nothing special. Poorly made average American version of European classics. I am also holding out hope that it gets better- I have to believe other regulars have commented (or did they just quietly stop coming? Which is the worse)
