I came here for my Bestie's birthday, and I was amazed by the band playing. This is a small quaint martini bar that serves up some fabulous drinks and some fabulous talent. There is usually live music on Friday nights and there's a small charge at the door, but it's well worth it. The drinks are strong and the music will have you grooving all night. I used to love this spot when it was a cigar bar, not sure when it changed since I haven't been here in a few years. First drink by the lady was excellent. Second drink made by the guy was terrible. Asked to have the lady make it but she left for the day. I then asked for just champagne since the drink he made was terrible. He made it then left it in the counter for several minutes while he made out with his date in the corner. I got up and grabbed my drink after getting the waitresses attention who was chatting while my drink sat there. There was a DJ and no live band. Definitely won't return. read more

Tried a - I believe - a peartini. DELISH! It's a small, quaint, neighborhood place. The owner has a nice rotation of live music. The FB page is full of info. We came in to check out the live music on Saturday night. We were very impressed with the atmosphere and the way the club was decorated. Very warm and welcoming environment. Owner was super friendly and knowledgeable about all they had to offer. The live band was Incredible! Blaque Vinyls was their name. COVID makes it impossible to give 5 stars, honestly. With that said . . . As soon as I walked in "Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name" popped into my head. Very quaint. Let me say this is -one-hidden- gem (shhh, j/k) in The Woodlands. I marked this spot on my list to try for quite some time, and my husband and I finally decided to stroll in. Talk about a great date night. If you're looking for somewhere that is intimate, yet fun, great music, great vibes and FANTABULOUS drinks - THIS is your spot! I was honestly surprised I must say as I was only expecting to try a variety of martinis, but oh did I get more. The owner Irvin is quite personable and down to earth - he even memorizes the drinks of his regulars. How nice is that?! The mood and the feeling that you get is like getting lost somewhere where time pauses and takes you down memory lane. A little Chi-Town vibes for me. Not To mention the drinks :D. Suuuuch a variety - I wanted to try them all! The drink menu reminded me of Davenport on Richmond but on the north side (Yes!). Our favorite (thus far) were the raspberry margarita martini and the classic lemon drop. There's a great HH that lasts until 8pm, and it looks like they have other events/specials as well as I saw a stage for the dj that we also politely danced on ourselves. Tried going here last night, opened the door and the vibe looked cool, a little packed but the singer was goin in on the vocals. Some dude comes out of no where, I'm assuming the door security? not even 2 steps in the door that my friend had to have sleeves on? ( he was wearing kinda a knitted vest like top. Didn't seem THAT fancy of a place where sleeves were required unless that's just what he was saying to get us to turn around . Just be aware that dress code is enforced. read more

We went for the first time last night and it was a really nice spot. We loved the band! I sang along with every song. The drinks were REALLY good. My hubby isn't a martini guy but he loved his that he ordered. Our waitress was attentive and we never had to look around to find her if we needed anything. The only complaints I have are there isn't any food. It would be nice if there was a food truck or if they partnered with a restaurant who delivered. We wanted to stay longer but wanted to eat since we were drinking. The other thing is the doorman. There is a $10 charge/ person which is fine but he didn't seem to charge everybody and told us it was cash only but let others in and charged it to their tab. That would be WAY more convenient than having to go find an ATM to get cash. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and will go back when we're in town. This place is awesome.... hands down the best cocktails ever the Hennessy sidecar was delicious. Ok I'm getting off track. I walked in and was surprised how clean and well maintained the space was. I went to the restroom and that always determines if I'll stay long and if I'll be back and the restroom was very clean so that was a plus. I ordered the eggnog martini and it was delicious smooth cream and tasted like the holidays. Wife got a sidecar and she said it was the best one she ever had and I had to try it and it was. I don't like Hennessy but I would drink his sidecar. Next drink was a key lime Martini and a dirty martini once again great drinks wife said best blue cheese stuffed olives she has ever had, she asked him if he could package them for sale. Key lime martini was good sweet but sour tasted like the keys vacation in a glass. Atmosphere was great, everyone was pleasant the vibes where good. Had live music that started at 9:00 which was a plus. I only wished I came here earlier when I first seen this place but I let all the reviews keep me from a great experience. Now I know can't always take people's word for it. As far as the 20% being add to your bill nope they don't do that here so not sure on what people are talking about but not the case no hidden fees. I pulled this place up on Yelp since we were in the area, saw the 3 stars which is "A-Ok" so we popped in. I SHOULD have READ the REVIEWS before going in! Grrrrr!! There was a $5 cover. There was a live band, so that's expected. There was one table available in the back under the TV so we stayed. The waitress (THERESE is what was on the receipt) was our waitress. She was a comedy of errors. We wanted wine. The selection is PITIFUL. BV Coastal cheap wine (and it's $8 a glass!) ugh. We had never been there before. We told the waitress this because we asked how long they have been there. We had never noticed this place before, but had gone to another bar close by before. (Rookies) She said "a long time." So then just trying to get the wine was crazy and we had to wait a while because she said she only found one wine glass. She blamed it on a party around the corner. She had to wash a glass for us. I told her, "please make sure it isn't hot, though." She came back and said, "I put it in the ice a good while so that it was nice and chilled!" Eek, thanks but hello, we had ordered Merlot. smh. The band was GREAT! Really enjoyed that. Didn't enjoy the smoke and cigars in the air. Service was slow. Wine was just Meh. The crowd is older, I'd say 50-ish avg. People were dancing. So here's the kicker, we went to pay out...I had to leave a credit card to have a tab open (standard) but then she didn't give us a ticket. She just said, "it's $48." Wow, for 5 glasses of crappy wine! Ok, but here's cash, we didn't want to charge on the card. Ok, we gave her a $10 tip after we give her the $48, she says, "thanks!". Then my friend thought to ask for the receipt. In the event the card were to get charged as well, we wanted a receipt to show we had actually paid in cash. She stumbled with the computer for a bit saying, "oh, I already closed it out, sorry." But we waited. . . . ok, she got it to print. And on there was an auto-gratuity of $8 she just failed to mention to us. Seemed like she purposefully just told us the amount so that we DIDN'T see it. She knew that was our first time there so she KNEW we didn't know that would be on there. Not even when we tipped her $10 did she even say anything. To me that's STEALING from the patrons! I don't know if this is just her or all the servers, or if the owner knows this is happening. I was going to call, but based on what I see now on here, the owner may be no help. Went here one night on a whim with the wife for a romantic evening out (away from the kids). Definitely an older crowd here. If Baker St. is the place frat boys go to die, this is their heaven. Drinks averaged $10. They have about 100 different "martini" varieties and, of course a full bar. There are multiple scotches on the menu - 12 years old and up - all the Glens and some others. I ordered one on the rocks and got a double. Food is mostly appetizers. Waitstaff was a little busy the night we were there, the place was packed. I had to go to the bar to get water because our waitress never brought it to us. The music that night was great. A full band and two women singing doing motown classics and some recent stuff. Translation: order a drink and be prepared to be charged for more!!! 20% automatic gratuity added to my tab here; no mention of this from the waitress, doorman, or menu. I actually enjoyed the live music and the service of the waitress...but I got a funny feeling when she didn't offer me a receipt for my cash payment. After tipping her roughly 22%, I asked for a receipt because the tab was held on a credit card I didn't want charged. I paid cash and was told she wasn't able to print a receipt. (Lesson learned on my behalf.) I sat down and told her I'd wait till she figured it out...and amazingly enough, she was suddenly able to print one for me. One look at the tab and I discovered why she lied. The amount I was told I owed included a 20% gratuity, but she didn't let me know. This waitress ended up swindling me for my generous 22% tip, PLUS the 20% already added to my tab. Ehh, what goes around...comes around. Lol I came to this spot a year ago and was turned off due to all the smoke in the small establishment. I decided to give it another try because I heard from a friend that it is now smoke-free.
