Came into town and stopped by like we do every other month when visiting. Immediately met with a new team member, Kayla. She was extremely unprofessional and must be a new bartender as she claimed all our IDs were fake since they were from out of town, even when security and another bartender said otherwise. Went here for a night out with friends. Everything was great until we had to deal with Kayla the server. I've never witnessed such unprofessionalism in any form, especially that of which we experienced. Kayla should be fired for behaving in the manor that she did, especially at her place of work. She was argumentative, rude to our entire group, and even wildly claimed that we had fake id's, though we were all well into our late 20's and 30's. I will not be returning here just based off of our interaction with her alone. Do yourself a favor and steer clear. read more

The people here have no morals and are just cruel. They were cursing my girlfriend out just because she asked to borrow a phone while it was raining VERY hard outside. It was also about 10pm and they kicked her out. Everybody there was drunk and yelling at her while calling her a "scammer" just for asking to borrow the phone. They ended up calling me directly when she gave them my number, & the woman speaking to me was slurring her words like something you'd hear in a movie. She asked me if I knew who my girlfriend was, & I told her "yes that's my girlfriend what's going on???" And the woman immediately yells in the phone to me "SCAMMER, I'm going to call the police!" The crazy thing is, I LIVE in the Sandpiper Village neighborhood that Franklin's Tower also resides at. My mom went here ALL the time and she no longer goes here because of this exact reason. Man, this place is one of the coolest places in all of north Houston. They've got pinball, street fighter, galaga, pool tables, dart boards, ping pong and more fun games / activities. I like that there was a mix of music playing. Great environment and if you are wanting something to do on top of drinking, there is plenty to do. You can play pool, table connect 4, and even get yourself in a Pac-Man game. Or you can simply just hang outside. read more

Been going here about 22 years loved the place untill it was sold this last time. Used to go at least 3 or 4 times a week. They knew and loved my whole family from mom, kids, wife and me. Its completely changed and i miss the moose. Kids no longer aloud in, no food anymore, lots of songs blocked from the jukebox, no draft beer and dont make many mixed drinks. Sucks after loveing a bar the employees and people there for so long sucks its gone and now its this. Time to find another bar!!! read more
