Honestly this is a very cool place to go if you want to be Lowkey , but the staff aren't very welcoming only to those they already know. The drinks have more juice than alcohol and they allow cigarettes to be smoked inside.. yuck! I live near by by this so called bar I've been harassed by many of the bartenders and customers but the first experience is when I've came home twice to find out that I been Rufied twice and being a daily customer for over a year the second worst is I walk up to the restaurant and people are sitting outside at the tables drinking and I order a drink then go to sit outside then go home when I was done when I showed up next weekend Apparently I was told I was banned and never allowed to come back because I went outside with a beer which I Caught many of the customers including barteners doing it and there was no problem so why was it with me Very selfish and judgment here I put up with many Problems and You can guarantee I will not come back and I'll tell the people I work with and my friends and family that i will Never come back they are as ghetto as the area they are in read more

"The Twisted Monkey" is Swahili for "The only bar to hang out at in Spring". You can't compare it to the other establishments, the monkey has superior management, superior staff, superior patrons, and a MUCH nicer vibe. Don't get me wrong, Moose is alright if you like the drama, Shifters is cool if you're into stabbings, meth mouth'ed prostitutes, and gang bangers, The Spring Tavern is actually a great place but too far up from the heart of 1960 and to hell with that Salsa place. You need to swing by, the food is good, the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the patrons are like a genuine little community, once you're in, they'll look out for you like you were one of their own. Frankly I feel the place is a bit ghetto at night. The place is in between two rather low quality apartment complexes and at night the atmosphere gets to become a bit scary. Not a bad place for drinks but I would advise caution. read more

The bar is ok, went there the other night and the bartender Rebecca was absolutely rude. We were very respectful and tipped also. Also we were not loud nor acting like idiots. I pretty much just had a couple beers with my family members and minded my own business. I told her we appreciate you staying open for just 2 ppl. I also asked if she had kids or family to get home to and we could go to another bar if she needed to get home. I was only trying to be courteous. we tipped her good for staying open for us.
