This has been our go to spot for lunches and gatherings after work too. Fellow coworkers and I frequent almost weekly for lunch. The food and service is good and quick so we can fit this place in for lunch. April is very attentive and takes good care of us.

The service here is amazing, however, the food leaves a lot to be desired. But since they are in the area I still go there and support. Well, after tonight's entree, I don't think I will anymore. I ordered that Blackened Shrimp Tacos. I basically got a half of a raw cabbage on top of 2 tiny shrimp, on a wet and soggy flour tortilla. I am very displeased. Not worth $16.99.

(I actually didn't try the food other than pizza that was for a kids party so I can't comment on the food, but will give an update when I do go back.) We both ordered iced coffees and really enjoyed them. It's hard for us to find good ice coffee at a restaurant anymore. So that was impressive! The environment is awesome! I love how laid back and chill it is. They have so much to offer for kids and families. It's so nice to see a place like this really bring people together in an age where everyone gets absorbed in their work and phones. This seems like a great venue for a birthday party! My husband and I attended the Josh Abbott Band concert in November and LOVED it!! They did such a great job as a concert venue! It's easily our favorite place to see a show. They had conveniently located pop up bars, good food trucks, and plenty of bathrooms. The area is spacious enough to spread out on the lawn, but it was also easy to be up close to the stage. The owners even hosted a concert after party inside with music and dancing. We had such a good time and can't wait for the next one!

So from somebody who goes frequently, heres a honest rating on the foods i had. (I get the same thing a lot so i havent tried everything) Appetizers: Hat trick: 6/10, it was alright, the nachos were okay and they could put more cheese, nd i got the brisket egg roll. Giant Pretzel: 100/10, so good n hot! Egg rolls - Buffalo Egg Roll: 5/10, mac wasnt all that and just tasted plain. Birria Egg Roll: 9/10, it was yummyy. Brisket Egg Roll: 8/10, if it wasnt cut in half, it probably wouldve been a lil better ngl but otherwise its pretty good. Wings - Bone in: Lemon pepper 10/10, Garlic Parm 10/10, Boneless - Garlic parm boneless: 7/10 (i like bone in better) Burgers - The House: 12/10, juicy and fries are super good. Woodsons: 9/10, i love the bacon jam on it w the onions, it was just a lot for me. Smash Burger: 4/10, it was more expensive then the actual burger for a smaller, smashed burger. it wasnt allat and i wouldn't rlly get it again tbh. Tacos - Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos: 8.8/10, it was gooodd and i think evb should try it. Birria Tacos: 10000/10, my go to! i love these and there are the hands down best birria tacos in my opinion. i get mine in light cheese, cause its a lot of cheese to me. Pasta and Fish - Cajun Pasta: 3/10, not rlly cajun to me... its no spice at all but its okay i think. Coconut shrimp: 8.5/10, its good! Desserts - Banana Pudding- 9/10 its soo good and i like the nilla wafers on the bottom. the only thing is theres a lot of cream at the top and not that much pudding. Skillet cookie: 10/10, no complaints. Cinnamon Pretzel Bites: 6.5/10, they alright. I think thats everything, this will be updated as i try new things!

I ordered the smaller portion of the BBQ chicken salad and I still felt like it was huge. I had to have my husband help finish it! I'm not a tuna fan, so I didn't try my husband's meal, but he was happy with it. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area to just come and chill at the bar. It's very spacious and the restaurant has such a cool vibe. I've never had anything to eat here that I didn't like. Their drink selection is vast, especially if you're into beer. They have Angry Orchard on draft (my favorite) and that's hard to find in a restaurant. This is a great place to grab a drink before going out for the night, but it's also a great place to be your sole destination!

And let me tell you--that shift made all the difference. It gave us the relaxed, low-pressure vibe we needed to actually talk and enjoy each other's company without feeling rushed or crowded. We ordered a round of drinks and a few appetizers: Three pepper queso (definitely a win) Cheeseburger egg rolls (yes... and yes again) Crab egg rolls (...we'll just say these didn't make the highlight reel) Everything hit except the crab egg rolls--they just weren't giving what they were supposed to give. What I really liked about this spot is that it's not just a sit-and-eat place--it's an experience. They've got pool tables, basketball hoop games, cornhole, and even karaoke studios. We didn't tap into that this time, but trust--we already said next visit is game night. There's also outdoor seating if you want to switch up the vibe. Overall, this was a great place to close out a first date. Good energy, plenty to do, and enough flexibility to make the night what you want it to be. They do have live bands so it may get loud, if that's not your thing. Now for the food... there was so much we wanted to try like the fried trio (zucchini, mushrooms, and pickles), but we chose the bacon deviled eggs and they did not disappoint! The bacon was candied and oh so good. They have a really good salad bar, and the waitress charged us for the kids portion since we were all getting meals that didn't come with a trip. Lots of good toppings to choose from. They have yummy rolls with honey cinnamon butter. My only complaint was the ranch and blue cheese was a bit too runny, and the blue cheese lacked flavor. My bonus daughter and I split the wings and the seafood platter. The wings are really good, we got hot and cherry jalapeño barbecue. The seafood platter was very good, huge portion, 6 shrimp and 2 large pieces of catfish, and the french fries were awesome. I just wish the tartar sauce tasted a little bit better. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it wasn't my favorite. My husband had the signature sirloin topped with a seafood sauce. It was really good and cooked perfectly. He got the loaded mashed potatoes, but they were very dry, they needed some cream or some butter or both. I also got a side of fried okra, I didn't care for it, not very flavorful and not crispy. My daughter got the kids cheese enchilada dinner, she didn't care for it, she said it was mostly cheese and no tortilla. The dessert menu is extensive, and it was hard to make a choice. I wanted to try the brownie bottom cheesecake, the Keylime pie cheesecake, the bourbon, pecan cheesecake, and the Texas velvet chocolate cake. My daughter and I both went for the Texas velvet chocolate cake. The waitress failed to tell me that the portion size is HUGE. Wish I'd have taken a pic! It's two huge slices of chocolate cake on top of each other. Let me tell you, though, this is one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. The cake part was moist, I hate that word, but I can't think of another word that describes it. Very flavorful and chocolatey. The icing was one of the best I've ever had, it's a chocolate buttercream and so good. We've eaten on this cake for a few days and it is not going to waste, that's for sure. I think the cake was the best part of the meal. Soooo good. My husband got the salted caramel pecan pie, it was very good. He's not a crust person, but he actually ate all the crust, it was so good. Overall, I really like cactus jacks and I would come back. The waitress was mediocre, for example, she told me they didn't have blue cheese, but they obviously did. She wasn't very attentive at the table, took awhile to get refills and we weren't able to get her to get us some butter for the mashed potatoes because she was rarely there, just a bunch of little things... She was very sweet though . The only reason why they got five stars was the chocolate cake, I think they really deserve four stars because their sides and condiments need some work. But, we will give it another try for sure.

They even make their own homemade potato chips. Some interesting dishes which you don't usually see at sports bars include: shrimp & crab fondue, jaegerschnitzle/spaetzle, and red fish fritters I originally came in for the burger, which is make your own, but after seeing they have a wing special on Mondays, I picked the wings. They're 10 bone in (or boneless) for only $10 and choose 2 sauces. I picked lemon pepper and mango habanero from among their 9 different sauces. I also added a beer on tap. They have 20 on tap currently. Wings - these were really good and meaty. You can tell they are fresh and likely even cut up back in the kitchen as they were various sizes and some were not cut quite properly. My fav was probably the mango habanero. It wasn't nearly as spicy as Wingstop, but nearly similar flavor. The lemon pepper are pretty good, just not quite as great. Service was pretty good as I was checked on several times by the bartender. Overall, this is a pretty good place to grab a casual meal, or watch some sports with your buddies.

Went here one morning/afternoon for lunch and was a little displeased. Firstly there is no sign on the front to say the name of the restaurant. my friend and I had to go through a hall where they were setting up some tables maybe for an event and we were told to walk through their back doors and that's how we saw the outside seating. There is a lovely view of the golf course if seated outside. It's just busy with all the golf carts that keep coming and going or them mowing the lawn so for me my allergies were acting up and I was sneezing and sniffling as lot do it wasn't much fun, but I loved to look at the course and the golfers afar. Inside is decorated nicely more for like hunters and as I said, the golfers will enjoy it as it is on the golf course. We decided to sit outside. Although someone was wiping off some doors when we chose our seats we had to wipe them ourselves as she did not look our way or render assistance. The chairs and tables were all dusty and had dead bugs. Anyhow a nice young lady came to offer menus and take our orders, to my surprise there was not much of a girly drink or even something virgin (and yes I get it it's a sports bar) we opted for grapefruit juice and oj which were either watered down and not freshly squeezed but bottled tasting more like Minute Maid. I ordered the cheese burger bowl and a side of mashed potatoes. The plate was messy when received and the patty was very salty. The mash was dry and even the cheese that was on it had hardened. I had to ask for some gravy for it to taste better. I'm not one to send back food because of a lot of reasons so I kept it and was making a mental note. I may go back seeing I walk that area weekly and can take it for a little pick me up stop after my walk so I'll see and let yall know how my next visit goes.
