Great poboys, crawfish and fried okra!! Great beer prices and service. Smells funny though

Came here Sunday and had no problems, today I came in and the crawfish tasted bland with hot sauce drenched on top. I let the server know and the "chef/manager" came out and offered to re make the crawfish.... This time they came out the same as before with no taste besides hot sauce, I told the server and asked for a manager, the same "manager/cook" came out with an attitude saying "is that all? Im busy" and walked off in a hurry. I liked the crawfish and somehow they have them cheaper than everyone else. Size was small but expected for this time of year and the smaller harvests. The reason I rated 3 stars is the service. One of the bartenders served us and she was awful, acted like I inconvenienced her when I asked questions and when she had to go find out an answer she wasn't nice about it. Sets food down without a word and walks away. Never asked if we needed anything. We eventually got another server who was much nicer. Even calling on the phone, they act like they don't want to be there, though, and I'm not sure if I'll be back. read more

Attended with a group and the crawfish took too long to come out. I don't care how many pounds are ordered, it's just boiling food. Other tables got theirs ahead of the group and I think it should still be first come, first served. $2.99/lb was the catch to keep us there. All sides had to be added and the price wasn't readily available or shown as itemized lines on receipt. Also heard a few folks had trouble with their credit card and charges on it, and were not getting a response when they called to discuss. Experience couldve been better. I do not recommend this place at all. The food was horrendous, the service was terrible and I asked the manager where our other drink was and she literally waved her hand at me like I was bothering her. This was one of the most disgusting places I've ever been and treated like total junk. The food was disgusting. The Philly cheese sandwich literally had a tablespoon of meat on it. The rest was all on onion and it was uneditable. The waffle fries were actually freezer burnt and rockhard. I do not recommend this place and I will never go there again. Brandon the manager did nothing - he just sat at the end of the bar drinking with the "regulars". Friday 3-21-2025 My wife and I arrived around 5:30pm. Because I'm 71 years old and have LSS we look for chairs with backs and my wife spotted plenty of open seats at the bar. While we waited to get service, we cleaned up our area. After our first batch of crawfish, we ordered another pound and some fries. A man with a white cowboy hat sat next to my wife's right side - but down to the far left side of the bar at the end, there were several "regulars" drinking and carrying on very loud. Right before our food arrived, one of these "regulars" stumbled his way over to the man next to my wife and was he very loud, rude and bumping into my wife and I many times. When our food came out, my wife picked up and moved to the left of me - somehow this offended the "regular" and he started into how this was his problem now - my wife said - no problem and we started to eat. He carried on ever more aggressive and got louder - after we ignored him - he shouted at me extremely loud "you're just a Fu_____ As_____" At this point, I asked both the ladies behind the bar to call 9-1-1 / they did not. He yelled at me even louder saying "just because I called you a Fu_____ As_____ doesn't mean you have to call 9-1-1 Actually, yes it does, when a person is PI (Publicly Intoxicated) and is acting like he was. Then he yelled louder at me again, saying I was just a "Fu_____ Pu___". At this point one of the ladies behind the bar finally told him to get away from us. She apologized and said she was going to have the manager have him leave - at this point, he walked back to the end of the bar and had a good laugh about this with all the other "regulars". Since my wife and I both lost our appetite, we were going to leave, the one lady said she would buy our next round - I told her were done and asked for the check - she said she would comp us two (2) beers - as we left an uneaten order of fries and a pound of crawfish on the bar. I asked the lady, who and where was the manager? She pointed to a man at the end of the bar - who was drinking and laughing with the "regulars" and who did not try to stop his friend from cussing out other customers. She said the managers name is Brandon. Brandon never came over to apologize to us - and as my wife noticed - he seemed a little "PI" himself. My wife commented to the lady, I hope he is not driving home - you should call him an UBER - the lady said, it's not a problem - he does this all the time and we just call his wife to pick him up! So, if you want to go to a bar, have to clean off your own area, have "PI" regulars offend you and your wife - with a manager who just sits at the bar and drinks - and doesn't care about new customers - this is your kind of place. Not for us, never going back and we are telling all our friends. 5:30pm is way too early for this many people to have way too much to drink. read more

I ordered 2 orders of crawfish and shrimp last Wednesday one order was 3 pounds crawfish and 2 pounds shrimp and the second order was 8 pounds of crawfish, when i got home and went to eat it there where roaches in the crawfish and i had to throw all of it away i then called management and asked for refund they offered more food i said no i didn't feel comfortable eating something that had roaches in it before, when i asked for a refund they said the owner was going to call Monday to get it done. Come Monday i called and no answer then i called off another number and they blocked me, i called bank and got a refund and everything sorted out but will never eat here ever in my life very unpleasant situation. read more

The food is good with great prices. The Triple Play is probably the best deal you can find at any sports bar. Comes with a pretty big quesadilla, 6 wings, and fried pickles for like $12. You can add beef or chicken for an extra $3. Highly recommended getting that for your table as an appetizer or even as an entree for yourself. The Philly cheesesteak is also pretty good, not the best in the world but you won't be disappointed. I recommend getting the waffle fries over the normal fries. First night at this new place in town!! Service from Stormy and the Manager was spot on. Our drinks never ran empty. The atmosphere was great. Not too loud and everyone was having a good time!! Placed an order through doordash. Doordash confirmed , gave them an extra 15 minutes before showing up. Waitress ignored me for a good 5 minutes, then claims my order doesnt exist. She looks around, and finds that she forgot to pass my order onto the kitchen. My advice is to let bad businesses such as this one die, let a better restaurant take its place. Gave Tewbeleaux one last chance tonight after having been once or twice about a year ago. It was pretty bad from start to finish. We got there for an early dinner about 6:00 and the server really tried his best, but he was not very knowledgeable and forgot parts of our orders. Other tables seemed to have the same experience, as we saw a lot of food go back to the kitchen. The server didn't know anything about the Untappd app that was advertised all over the restaurant. It was fine, my husband is familiar with it, but it seems like if you're at a point as a restaurant when your servers feel the need to hand out your only paper copy of the beer list, you may want to clue them in on an app that literally lists every beer you have. The atmosphere was overall kind of gross. It was hot and humid, and it kind of smelled mildewy or like old food. There were also a few of what seemed like regulars at the bar who had clearly been over served. It was 6:00 on a Wednesday and they had two guys yelling and drunkenly hugging other patrons. No judgement, but it was quiet otherwise and it was kind of a scene, especially when we watched them stumble off to their cars to drive home. Our server, although very nice, disappeared several times. And the food was really lackluster - my husband said the crawfish was criminally under seasoned and my chicken sandwich and fries were both soggy. If I had to say one positive thing, the chips and salsa were pretty tasty. It's not our jam and we definitely won't be back. Come to find out they refuse to hire male servers because they like to sexually harass the women wait staff. I really hate to be this person. A Karen. I called and placed an order to go, I arrived to pick up and non of the staff is wearing mask, not even the cooks. This was pretty unsettling, considering this bar was closed at one point due to someone in their staff having COVID. I felt bad because my food was ready but I did not want to rudely leave without explanation. I waited and a waitress brought out my food, I kindly explained to her that I wasn't aware that the staff wasn't wearing mask and I felt uneasy taking the food. She kindly understood and I left. I wish I known that they weren't following the current health guidelines. They should really tell ppl so this doesn't happen again. I know there is a lot of debate with the mask right now, I completely respect the owners rights to run their establishment how they feel. I actually frequent this place quite often, they have bingo on Wednesday's that maybe once to twice a month my family and I will attend. Nick the commentator/DJ is amazing. However, yesterday, Thursday, they were running a huge deal and selling crawfish for $1.99 a pound, and they had their normal $9.99 all you can eat catfish, so needless to say my family wanted to go. When we get there my mom's friends from her senior living home were already there and had seats for us, great. We order our food, it took a while but it came out, then we decided we wanted more food, the crawfish was a little too spicy for me, but my daughter loved it, so I asked the waitress if I could order the catfish, and 2 more pounds of crawfish for my daughter. My mom's friends also wanted more food and proceeded to make their orders. After an hour the waitress comes out at no fault of her own, and says ladies here is your check, the kitchen has been shut down, we are over capacity for food orders and they haven't let me even put in your orders for the additional food. Again, this is after an hour of waiting. Now I understand being busy; however, to shut your kitchen down at 7:30 pm, when you all decided to run this special and not be properly staffed nor were you prepared to handle the amount of people coming through your doors, which is very counterproductive of what was trying to be achieved. (Filling the place on a Thursday night, when it is usually dead) So many people were leaving upset or waiting forever to get seated and they never did, ended up leaving. Went to watch a game w friends. It's was busy, so while service wasn't great, the waitress was super nice and had a great attitude. We ordered drinks and an appetizer sampler. No complaints. We also ordered some crawfish. They were verY tasty. So were big but some were small. Like crazy small. Like smaller than the tiny shrimp you sometimes find. But still... no complaints. Now wheel the bill came... we were charged for the sauces that come w the platter. Marinara sauce for the cheese sticks. Hot sauce for the wings ( even tho we had a bottle on the table!). Crazy. What an tragic fall from one of the more fun good food hand outs. We moved here 8 years ago and this place was busy as hell and food was great. Waitresses were fast and great personality's. The last few times service has gone to crap and have not seen same waitress more that one time. We would always get wings on Tuesday I think and they were pretty good, but I go them last night and I would bet anything they were microwaved.
