It was ok, no live band when we came and the drinks were watered down. Did not eat anything

Didn't know this place existed, but glad I found it. On a Saturday night too! Started with a lemon drop martini - BEST I've ever had! Just the right amount of everything. And filled to the rim. Tried a - I believe - a peartini. DELISH! It's a small, quaint, neighborhood place. The owner has a nice rotation of live music. The FB page is full of info. I was there when Ayanna Live was performing - she's good. The stage / dance area is small but perfect for interacting with each other. Plenty of seating in the open space, as well as the bar area. The owner is onsite, overseeing everything. Nice guy - engages with his cliental.

COVID makes it impossible to give 5 stars, honestly. With that said . . . As soon as I walked in "Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name" popped into my head. Very quaint. Not a lot of people. But, a very friendly crowd just enjoying a Friday evening. The drinks were ON POINT! Since I knew I'd be doing a review, I had a few. Discovered I'm not 22 anymore. But they were delicious! They do not have food and since they are trying to get their footing back (post pandemic) they did not have live music Friday night. Ervin was amazing, attentive and courteous.

Let me say this is -one-hidden- gem (shhh, j/k) in The Woodlands. I marked this spot on my list to try for quite some time, and my husband and I finally decided to stroll in. Talk about a great date night. If you're looking for somewhere that is intimate, yet fun, great music, great vibes and FANTABULOUS drinks - THIS is your spot! I was honestly surprised I must say as I was only expecting to try a variety of martinis, but oh did I get more. The owner Irvin is quite personable and down to earth - he even memorizes the drinks of his regulars. How nice is that?! The mood and the feeling that you get is like getting lost somewhere where time pauses and takes you down memory lane. A little Chi-Town vibes for me. Not To mention the drinks :D. Suuuuch a variety - I wanted to try them all! The drink menu reminded me of Davenport on Richmond but on the north side (Yes!). Our favorite (thus far) were the raspberry margarita martini and the classic lemon drop. There's a great HH that lasts until 8pm, and it looks like they have other events/specials as well as I saw a stage for the dj that we also politely danced on ourselves. Needless to say I'm looking forward to more visits in the future. Chao!

Nice atmosphere, good drinks but a bit pricey though. One draw back for me is that it allows smoking.

The drinks were solid, and the overall atmosphere was definitely a vibe. We went on a Saturday evening, so it was pretty crowded, but once we found our spot in the Gold Room, we stayed there most of the night. Great music, great energy, and a unique concept. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something different for a night out. Not sure how it took me this long to stumble in here. Parking is what it is downtown so, there's that.

The lighting is dark, intimate, and behind every level and door, there is something else going on. There is an element of discovery in every corner and a new adventure on every floor. Ever watch the movie Tron? There are some areas of BCD that feel incredibly futuristic with neon-lit interiors and a legitimate sci-fi feel in some areas. The areas are ass follows: The main bar with a DJ and a spacious dance floor, the red room with a visualizer setup of big bass and pulsating lights, the gold room with a speakeasy feel and a curated cocktail menu, with the secret room that is a unique space behind a certain set of doors. Most of the music on the main bar is good, the DJs are energetic, and the bartenders are efficient while professional. It's not the easiest place to photograph anything, but the different (hidden) spaces make it a worthy destination for discovery. The one area that I don't love is that they rock automatic gratuity. I do love how diverse the crowd is on the weekends, which is a testament to the city. Drinks are solid, but the speakeasy drinks are the ones that stand out the most. The latter definitely comes at a price, but beware that some drinks may have all the presence but not enough of the substance. __________ My photos: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/behind-closed-doors-houston?userid=ysCBsXWPB-LAiewVS3jZfQ

The place is spacious with two stages and a patio area. It wasn't packed which I preferred because I just wanted hookah. The bar was a bit depleted bcus they were waiting on new shipments. Like no cranberry for vodka type of thing. The owner or manager came over to apologize which I appreciated. The music was good. The hookah was $40. My tequila sunrise was great too, the bartender was very attentive. I would def come here again.

I ordered a cosmopolitan and my husband wanted a glass of Riesling but they didn't carry it. He ordered a glass of Pino Grigio instead. But that was quickly soured the blaring club music that felt like someone put a speaker directly on our window. I could still hear it with a sound machine and ear plugs...When discussed with the front desk, they said it was normal for floors 2-4 to hear this. Personally, I don't think it is normal for hotel guests to be subjected to club music while trying to get to sleep at 10 p.m. especially when you pay $300 a night, but that's just me. The Westin ended up moving us several floors up in the middle of the night so we could sleep. Laughably, we got up to floor 10+ and WE COULD STILL HEAR THE DAMN MUSIC AT MIDNIGHT.

This place is located in Montgomery technically but is right next to Conroe you can see the lake driving up it was so beautiful. It's a prohibition style speakeasy with the hidden door and the ambiance is so beautiful inside with an amazing bar and just a great vibe. We loved how the waitresses were dressed in dresses from the time it was so classy and fun. And we went on a night they had live music and it was sooo good. Now let's talk about the drinks there were so many choices of cocktails bourbon whiskey you name it. I let the waitress pick mine it was something with pear and it was yummy. We both loved our drinks. My husband loved his old fashion. The food was absolutely delicious we enjoyed the crab toast and lamb lollipop and the Chilean sea bass which were all to die for. Oh and Lavendar creme brûlée for dessert. We met Rob and his wife the owners who are the nicest people and now we can't wait to come back with friends to salsa night. If you're looking for a nice dinner spot with great drinks food and music on certain nights just the best service you have to come try this location you won't be disappointed. Our waitress was admittedly new, but when our food arrived an hour and a half later, it was so disappointing. Three of us ordered ribeyes, and none of them were cooked to our order; plus, they were charred on the bottom & sides. The wagyu burger was burned as well. We also ordered a bottle of wine, but the first 3 choices were out of stock!? Really? Our choice was to jump into a $60.00 or $80.00 bottle. The service team never checked in on how our food tasted or how we were doing. It's like they knew that they ruined our dinner and experience. About this, they call it a speakeasy because the doorway is a bookcase that is as obvious as the nose on your face. The dude hosting the stand at the door, did not even ask if we enjoyed ourselves. For these prices, they should be ashamed of the food they served us. Seriously! Do not waste a dime here. I am making sure everyone I know does not make the mistake we did.
