Shoutout to Brice for taking care of us! We stopped by for the first time on a Friday evening. They have seating outside, on the first floor and also upstairs. The overall vibe is rustic, chill, and historic. There is open seating so we sat at a table and were shortly greeted by Brice. We ordered drinks and food which arrived fairly quickly. We ordered Margherita pizza with pepperoni, wings and fries. All had quality ingredients and were really good! While in Spring Tx eating BBQ needed a refresher so had to stop at Prohibition Texas for a bit of whisky in a drink. This place is located down the road from a BBQ place in Old Spring Tx. Street parking and driving around looking for a lot to park in but it was worth it. The service here was great, it was around 2:30pm when we arrived. Cool spot if you are into rustic/cigar lounge bars! The place was PACKED when we got there and we had to wait for a table. Luckily we only had to wait at the bar for a few minutes before a table cleared up. When we sat we were immediately served, however we didn't order anything as we were waiting for a few friends to show up. Once our friend showed up, we waited for 20+ minutes for someone to come take our order and nobody did. It was super busy, so I understand this, but it would have been nice to have some waters while looking over the menu. We ended up leaving before ordering anything because we had two more friends who were supposed to meet us and there was no room at our small table for two more chairs. Service was above and beyond. The food was really good. I tried my friends salmon which was tasty. The Brussels were good. I had a Cobb salad and it was fresh, the chicken was seasoned. The appetizer pretzel with the cheese and mustard dip was also pretty good. I didn't try the garlic parm fries but my friend enjoyed them. I wanted to go here after seeing the craft cocktail menu. Heard many good things about this place, so I came to try it out myself. The bar is quite dim-lit and gives off an Old Western vibe. It was quiet and relatively empty on a weekday night. Seeing as many of the cocktails and drinks were whiskey forward, I ordered a Sazerac to stick with the the theme. It was too sweet for my taste, so I asked the bartender to add more bitters and she fixed it, no problem. I also ordered the brussels sprouts, which took a while to come out. I ended up taking them to go and they were delicious - crispy and saucy. The main turn-off during my visit was the bathroom. The fans in the bathroom didn't work. It was hot, humid, and heavy inside that tiny bathroom & the odor was also unbelievably unbearable. The worst part was, there was no soap either. I had to resort running to the nearest bottle of hand sanitizer after leaving the bathroom. Overall, cocktails were okay, the food was good, and the bartender was friendly. If you feel like being outside there is also a lovely patio. I ordered an old fashion 101. Smoke definitely would recommend this if you don't get it you're totally missing out a smooth smoky flavor with a hint of cinnamon and orange you cannot go wrong. For an appetizer order the fried goat cheese balls definitely also something that I would highly recommend. Had a cheese pizza to go and let me tell you what one of the best cheese pizzas I've had in a long time. Perfectly seasoned with garlic and hints of rosemary. Service with a smile and attentive, food just ok. Their drinks a stiff and strong. Great service from our waitress who was incredibly attentive, funny, and super accommodating of our big group. Place was spacious and clean and the ambiance was lively. Food was just ok. We ordered 4 different pizzas. We had to wait for a table and even then, we could only find one with 3 chairs and there were going to be other people meeting us. We had come here based on a recommendation from a friend who said the drinks here were very cheap, but on the menu, they were around $15 dollars a cocktail. We had a great experience the first night we visited the bar with exceptional drinks. The bar was lively with friendly bartenders. We came back tonight at 8:35 when the bar was closing at 9:00. The bartender said he did last call at 8:30 so couldn't make any cocktails for us only a beer or shot. There's live entertainment on some nights where armature acts take the mic. I prefer the upstairs cigar lounge. Peace and quiet and comfortable couches and chairs. Went to Social hour for the $5 Old Fashioneds and to eat. Didn't complain when my pizza order was wrong, it was still good. But then the bill came. My Wife and I were at 'Prohibition Texas' in Old Town Spring a few weeks back, enjoyed what we had and met up with Friends there last night. I made Reservations for us and when we arrived everyone was there at our table. Holly is our Server, handed us their Drink & Food Menus. When she returned a few minutes later we ordered our drinks. Half of us wanted their Blond Draft Beers but she said they were out of them - so we picked something else. I went with the 'Pumpkin Ale' because, well, it's 'Pumpkin Ale' and it's that time of year once again. Holly said it's from Excalibur Brewing in Old Town Spring. My Wife ordered their 'Red Sangria'. Prohibition Texas is decorated like the Speakeasies of Yesteryear and with several people here already it does get noisy - but that's also the fun part of being here. It's like being in your 20's once again in a Pub filled with people doing what you're doing. My Pumpkin Ale tasted pretty good but is a little weak on the Pumpkin flavor but has a nice little bite. My Wife really likes her Sangria - and it has several Blueberries atop. We all chatted some more then looked over the Menu trying to decide what to order. When it was time - we did. My Wife is going with the 'Hangover Fries'; Crispy Fries loaded with Beer Cheese, Grilled Steak, Pico de Gallo, Avocado & Sour Cream. It's listed on the 'French Fries' list. I'm having the 'Prohibition Burger'; 1/2 lb Patty topped with Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato & Pickles on a Brioche Bun - with French Fries. A couple more of these Burgers were ordered by the others. Also their 'BLTA' (Sandwich) and a 'Pesto Veggie Pizza'. While we waited for our food we drank - it's a Speakeasy and that's what you do - so we did. I finished my Pumpkin Ale and ordered a Red Sangria. Holly brought it over and it is a Full Glass with many Fresh Blueberries atop. A couple sitting at the next table is having their 'Bloody Mary Flight' and they gave a 'Thumbs Up' on this and it does look Good. Soon our food started arriving and everyone received theirs except for the Pizza and BLTA were not ready. My Wife's 'Hangover Fries' looks pretty good and there is a lot of it. She said the Fries were not served hot but the Beer Cheese on them is pretty good stuff but a small amount. I tried them and that Beer Cheese on the Fries is pretty good but not hot and the Fries are not crisp. It also has small bite size bits of Steak on there and she said some were really chewy and a few were tender. My Prohibition Burger is a Half Pound Patty that was cooked Well-Well-Well-Well Done - as were the other Prohibition Burgers at our table. It's also Very Dry and no amount of Sauce of any kind could save this Burger - and Very Little Cheddar Cheese. The Burger is suppose to be a 1/2 pounder but it doesn't look like it even comes close to this - maybe they use a low quality meat and it disappears when grilled. I slopped it up the best I could but that Well-Well-Well-Well Done Patty needed more help than I could give it. One of us at our table really likes their Burger Patty cooked Well-Well Done and she said that this Patty was Way Over Done for her - and Very Dry. The Brioche Bun seemed like it was a little old. The other Burgers were the same way. Holly apologized for the Pizza being late and said it would be out in 4 minutes and that the Kitchen can only cook 1-Pizza at a time - that's not a good sign. Soon the Pizza was served along with the BLTA, which I was told was also a little dry and needed much help. The Pesto Veggie Pizza was pretty good but the Crust was not crisp at all - it was Very Limp - maybe because they hurried it up and didn't leave it in long enough - but was told that the toppings were pretty good. My Wife and I had the 'Smoky Pig Pizza' last time we were here and it was Crisp and Delicious. After everyone ate what they could, and the leftover pizza was boxed up, we received our bills. It's an Automated System from the Servers Device in hand and each couple paid - then you get the printed receipt. Well, here is where it went wrong - we all were here at 5:30pm to enjoy Happy Hour until 7pm. Holly rang up our Bills after 7pm and the computer sold everything at regular prices. We all notified her of the error and she went back to correct it - and informed Management of the problem. Management refused to correct the situation because it was after 7pm and would not come over to our table - so - since it was already paid we left - and will not be back. All of us agree that Holly did a Great Job serving us and we had fun enjoying the atmosphere and our conversations - and their drinks. Holly earned the 'Dollar-Bow-Tie' Award along with nice tips - as did Caitlyn when we were here before - but Management needs to attend a "Customer Service 101 Class" because obviously they never went the first time. So, if you want to check out 'Prohibition Texas' - DON'T - unless you stop in and say Hello to 'Holly and Caitlyn' - they are really cool people. read more

I wanted to like this place & maybe due to powers that collided tonight everything was just an off situation. Made reservations for 10 on open table almost a week in advance. Called before my 7PM reservation to let them know I was running 10 minutes late, was told no problem table was set up and reserved. Arrived to find reserved table was now gone, & deer in the headlights ensued. A fold out table was brought from downstairs and placed directly in front of the band (BTW live music was great!), and after some thought was requested to just be moved outside. I hand it to the staff that worked to pull this accommodation from left field it worked. Food was a bit lack luster. I had the Caprese Sandwich, was delicious but it's not a sandwich, it's fancy toast, using sandwich literally throws the mind into expectations. Also come to find out after it's lack of appearance the kitchen ran out of pretzels. Again another fluke for the evening. While I didn't partake in the drinks/cocktails they seemed well made and had an extensive list to pick from. Very snazzy old fashioned presented in a lantern filled with Texas mesquite smoke was ordered by my friend. We've been coming here at random times and dates for the last few months and have seen some changes to the menu and kitchen staff.
