Pancakes tasted like my grandmother used to make. I was figuratively transported back 40 years toto her kitchen over 40 years ago.

We stopped by CC's Cafe on Easter Sunday, and overall it was a really solid experience. They serve breakfast and lunch and are open daily until 2pm, which makes it a great spot for a late breakfast or casual brunch. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, even on a busy holiday. You can tell it's one of those local spots people keep coming back to. Service was friendly and kept things moving, which we appreciated with the Easter crowd. The food itself was good--classic breakfast/lunch options done well. Everything tasted fresh, and portions were fair. It's the kind of place you go when you want something reliable and satisfying without overthinking it. Definitely a place we'd come back to, especially for a laid-back breakfast or brunch. Since there is, what seems to be like, a chicken fried steak competition going on in Tomball and Magnolia, we had to go back to CC's for lunch to try their chicken fried steak. Everything was really good but the gravy and green beans were way too heavy on the pepper. I was also kinda bummed that it didn't come with one of those incredible biscuits they make here. The toast just didn't fit. The chicken fried steak was perfectly crispy and didn't have a lot of loose batter. The onion rings...oh my heavens. The onion rings! Those things are amazing! I took my leftovers and let my order half eat them because he didn't mind the heavy pepper. I just don't expect to have my mouth on fire from pepper while eating chicken fried steak. Overall, we will go back. Breakfast is great and I'll just order something else from their menu. read more

First time visit the service was great but the food lacked flavor. The chicken fried steak was a huge portion but had no flavor (lacked salt) my chicken sandwich was good but the chicken could've used more seasoning. Good family ambience. read more

Place is great except they they put in new lighting and you need sunglasses It is the craziest lighting ever.

Always a solid spot for breakfast or lunch in a hurry. Service is genuine and doesn't sugar coat. Better than a Waffle House in terms of food quality. Highly recommend the o'Brian potatoes and the Texas Cheesesteak. read more

1st time trying out CC's cafe and I can't say I was impressed. It was about 11am on Saturday when we arrived, they weren't super busy, but the restaurant was fairly dirty. Our Server Danielle was very personable and attentive, once we ordered our food it didn't take very long for the hot, fresh breakfast to show up. I ordered the Garden Omelet and specified, no meat. It ended up coming out with meat on it, but the waitress fixed it in no time with no problem. When it came back it was good, the veggie to egg ratio was a bit much, but it tasted good. My wife said her tacos were very bland and light on toppings, she also had the biscuit and gravy. She said that the biscuit was amazing, but the gravy had too much pepper. My sister in law had just a waffle and I could tell it was dry and hard just from looking at it and her taste buds experienced just what my eyes observed lol. I just wasn't extremely impressed with my experience at this cafe, not terrible, I can't say it was great. We might potentially try it again with different menu items. read more

I ordered the chicken fried steak which was really good. My server was so sweet. The ambience is truly a diner vibe. Loved it.

4 stars for service. 2 for food. Hubs wanted to try to place. Ole time place with Ole time signs. Red glittered seating, a diner. Very attentive waitstaff and everyone was. Prices were outrageous except the Senior section. Food, I will defer my opinion of that. I am not a rush to return. read more

The food and service were excellent, but the lack of families with children seemed reflected in how the menu is structured. For a family of six (two adults and four young children), the bill came out to over $95. The kids' breakfasts don't include a drink (adding one costs more than half the price of the meal itself) and three extra pieces of bacon were over $5. There's a lot of potential here to attract more families, but at these prices it may be challenging, unless the intent is to cater primarily to an older crowd, which may well be the case. One big positive worth noting: there are no TVs anywhere in the restaurant, and I absolutely loved that. read more

Yessss!! I finally found good old-fashioned breakfast restaurant close by. Everything made from scratch big fat Belgian waffles with your choice of flavors, grits, country potatoes sautéed with onion. The list goes on and on. This place is a diamond in a rough & set in the middle of Tomball main road. We walked in to a full parking lot. The place was packed and rightfully so. truly cannot wait to taste the rest of the menu. read more

This is hands down the best breakfast in Tomball. Our waitress, Sarah, was super sweet and everything we ordered was piping hot and flavorful. I've passed this place for years, but now we'll be stopping in a lot more often. If you like a good country meal, then check it out. read more

CC's cafe is one our favorite home cook places to eat at. Food has been consistent all through the years. I've been coming here since Mr Joe owned the restaurant. The new owners have done a remarkable job in keeping the same food and atmosphere. Only thing that I noticed they changed food wise is their biscuits. I like the original biscuits over the sheet pan biscuits. They are still tasty. The staff is wonderful at both locations. Between the staff, food and atmosphere it gives you that small town feel that Tomball is. Even though it's growing. Highly recommend read more

While staying with my wife's brother during our house hunting trip, we had some free time and went into downtown Tomball in search of breakfast. We stumbled upon CC's Café and had a simple but delicious breakfast. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros: Two eggs, homemade salsa, refried beans, hashbrowns and tortillas. Exactly the flavor and taste that I wanted that morning. My wife went for the Western Scramble Plate: Scrambled eggs, with ham, bell peppers, tomato and onion with hash browns and wheat toast with she thoroughly enjoyed. Great food, great service and great prices. When we move into the area, we will definitely make it a point to stop back into C C's Café for another great breakfast. read more

Hamburger steak w/ brown gravy and onions, hash browns, eggs, biscuit & side of cream gravy. Awesome. Coffee is good and hot, service friendly and food came out hot and fast. Blueberry pancake, sausage and eggs were great as well, according to my gf. Newer version of the original place on main street in Tomball. Large dining area but it can fill up quickly. Been here several times and hasn't disappointed yet. Two people can get fed here pretty well under $40. Pancakes are the size of a 3# coffee can lid so order accordingly. read more

Used to love this place. Went there this morning no one even acknowledged us for 5 min. They brought drinks and then another 15 minutes goes by and they still haven't taken our order. The food was ok, the biscuits are sweet and worth having. Egg, bacon, grits, nothing special. Nothing extra on the plate for color. Service was good. The resturant is in need of some super cleaning. Mopping floors is fine, but smearing black dirty water up the wall at floor level is gross. A coat of Kilz on the stained ceiling tiles would be nice too. I shall not venture in again. read more
