I really don't know why I went back here from past experiences. I went in just now for Memorial day at 2:15PM. Bar had maybe 8 people and I sat at the far end. The bartender was chatting with someone at the other end. After 10 minutes I got up and left. Place was mostly empty and not even trying to save a sell or potential new client. If you are a regular then good but good luck getting good service here. The one in Houston is great. The employee here is apparently just hanging out instead of making sure all clients get service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Within 10 minutes of walking into this bar, our truck window was smashed, and personal belongings were stolen. I understand that things like this can happen, but the way the staff and management handled the situation was completely unacceptable. When I reported it to the staff, they brought over the manager on duty, who was dismissive and showed zero empathy. She didn't even bother to call the police--I had to do that myself. When I asked if they could pull up surveillance footage, she ignored me entirely and acted like she was too busy to help. It got to the point where I just had to walk away in frustration after telling her I hoped she'd never have to experience something like this herself. This place has no sense of customer service or basic decency. To make matters worse, the drinks weren't even that good. If you care about your safety and a positive experience, go somewhere else. The service is not good. They only have one girl bartending. There was a guy bar back behind the counter. He said he's not allowed to bartend because they only hire female bartenders. Isn't that discrimination? The place was a little busy and the bartender definitely needed help. read more

This is my 4th time here since they opened and service is always spotty. We waited 10 min out on the patio before having to go inside to ask who our server was. It was a Monday around 6:30p, inside was completely empty. On a good note, once our server was identified, she came out frequently and took good care of us. July 25, 2025, Friday. There was this one black girl (the one with the bad light brown colored wig) working there bartending, because my Latina friend didn't answer her fast enough on the preference of our drinks, cause she spoke too fast, and my friend didn't hear what she said the first time, she then walked off, and refused to service us. We then ordered from another bartender who gladly helped us. When she saw that, she told her not to service us. We ended up having to call the manager. I report the behavior of that bartender. She is super unprofessional, even called us "bitches" because we kept trying to order from other bartenders. She just wanted us to leave. It was very weird for somebody working at a public bar to choose and pick who she wanted to serve. We've always wanted to come to this bar, after this experience, never again. I wasn't very impressed with this location. My friends and I went to watch a university of Houston game here and the chicken tender baskets were just ok. The waiter aeemed to be confused about the orders although it seemed to be pretty straight forward. We were drinking the jim beam I think it was that was on special, but it tasted watered down. Service was horrible! Its was a Sunday evening, the NBA finals was in there were NO SERVERS! The female bartender looked stressed, overwhelmed and they showed in her interaction with the paying customers. Granted it's been a few years since we were last here. I REMEMBER this place being clean, friendly service, and while we weren't regulars there was a vibe that was really welcoming. Now? I have been here twice now and just can't seem to enjoy myself. As a bar, Little Woodrow's enjoys a loyal group of visitors who come to drink, play pool and enjoy each others' company. For this I give the place 3 stars. But if your are looking for a meal then keep driving. The menus is just one side of a questionable laminate and even that leaves you wondering. You can have a burger or an appetizer. The burgers aren't famous and the appetizers are blah. On my last visit my wife and I tried their nachos and were really disappointed. read more

Not a good bar experience and the food was meh. Pretty great beer selection but holy smokes it's overpriced and the service was terrible for a not very busy Saturday night. Insanely loud music that has patrons screaming at each other in order to be able to talk made for a miserable night. In regard to Covid, the "bouncer" didn't want to see any IDs but made sure to check our temperature before we could enter and they're super lax about the use of masks. Plenty of groups not wearing them around the pool/ game area and servers were all taking their's off at the bar. Not impressed with anything here. When planning this large group gathering, no one would answer the phone. Even when corporate called them, they couldn't reach 'em either. I drop into little woodrows in Katy a few times a year. It's not my go to spot, but they have a really nice craft beer selection. The place is usually pretty empty, so seating isn't ever an issue. Typical bar food, fries...burgers...wings...etc. small parking lot shared with a Landry's seafood, sometimes it's a little hard to find a spot. I came at a slow time on their "birthday" around midnight and the female bartenders were so rude. They ignored us multiple times when we were at the bar to order drinks. Turned on the lights at 1:30. And when I asked if they were doing last call, I was ignored. The girls kept walking by me as I tried to order a drink. I walked away and my boyfriend ordered a drink from the male bartender and he gave him great service immediately. They turned off the music at 1:40. Went last night for a trivia event and will never go again. Sat at a table for about 20 min and was never approached by any of the waitresses running around - fine no problem- got up and went to the bar to order instead. I order and received my drinks quickly but before I could order food the male bartender walked away so I asked the female bartender if the kitchen was open. She give me the ugliest look, says yes, tosses a menu on the counter and walks away before I could utter another word. My husband walks up about 30 min later and orders two more drinks receive the same stank face from the female bartender so he closes out. This entire time we are finishing our drinks we see her speaking others at the bar with kind and inviting demeanor which really irritated us. Will not be returning. read more

This might be the third time I've walked into this empty bar (maybe 18 people in the whole place) and waited a whole 15min politely at the bar to even get asked what I wanted to drink. I don't think I'd even bother leaving a negative review were it not for the girl/bartender in the cropped jean jacket that came out to check on this couple on the patio but walked dead past me and don't say a word (she was same one that completely ignored me at the bar. This is a bar that 51% or more of their sales come from alcohol. They're committing tax fraud on a daily basis by remaining open as a "restaurant". Charging people for food dishes that they are not cable of making, then giving you an alcoholic beverage. The receipt reads "Budlight + *food item* -DONT MAKE-". This is not your average Little Woodrow's. Dirty facility and poor service. I've visited the bar today and found it was very slow. There was only 3 tables with people. The bartender could have easily kept up. The service was super slow at refilling drinks. The tables and floors were dirty. Came on a Thursday ( around 6pm) found parking in front. As we walked in and sat down a waitress came to ask for our order. Service did get slower the longer we were here. It's super casual and great music. Had the fried pickles and chicken quesadilla. The fried pickles were really good- really crispy batter and the ranch was really good. The Quesadillas were pretty good came with salsa and sour cream. Food came out pretty quick. This is a great place to come hang out with friends. Been coming here for a bit to watch UFC fights. Understandably it's usually busy but not unmanageable I'd staffed correctly. Overall I wouldn't say the service was bad but it was a little slow. For whatever reason tonight we ended up with someone that I hadn't seen at this location before named Emily. Let me just tell you, this girl was on top of everything! Not only did she introduce herself but shook our hands and called us by name all night long. She always cleared our table of dishes we were finished with and made sure we had fresh drinks on the way when we were ready. I can very much recognize good service when I see it and Emily has it down to a science. If you come in to visit this location you definitely need to ask for her section and just hope that's she's working that night. If you work in the service industry you need to take some damn notes from her on how to do it right...no lie, she needs to be running her own place and teaching others how to make a guest feel welcome. First time here and it was lit! They have the craziest specials ever. Came here on a Thursday afternoon and didn't leave until 7pm! Met up a good friend to catch up but think we had a little bit too much fun. $3 wells? C'mon now, just take all my money. And $5 appetizers was the cherry on top. Food was mediocre but I mean it's expected. It was very spacious and got pretty busy during the Astros game. Nice little activity section as well. We played a little bit of corn hole and jenga. Waitress was attentive but sometimes it gets quite busy so just go to the bar and order. Overall it was fun, would love to come back! Heard they have Tuesday steak night so I'm definitely looking forward to that! read more
