First all tables are bar height so I look like a toddler with my feet swinging. LOL Chopped burger is a bbq dish, fair warning. But the tbone? EXCELLENT!! The Brussels sprouts? VERY GOOD!! The French fries? EXCELLENT!! Service is friendly. Cocktail was meh - not a lot of alcohol. Prices were reasonable. Terrible. Huge, continual turnover of bar and kitchen staff. Inconsistent food presentation. People do drugs in the bathrooms and smoke weed on the patio. They have a lunch menu that is absolutely terrible. Management hires incompetent people over and over. Unfair treatment between day and night cooks. Manager is rarely around during work hours. Preferential treatment is given to the teenagers they hire as they do not get held accountable for poor work habits, being late and calling out. But management does nothing about it. Back at Uncle Alberts tonight for a quick drink and an awesome dinner. Service, food and hospitality has not changed in the year it's been since my first review. Owners wife dressed all pretty greeting everyone making you feel right at home :) This time I took pictures of the food which is AWESOME!! Definitely NOT your dive bar people. Great clientel, awesome service, outstanding food and extremely CLEAN!! Well what can I say about this place. Lets start with the memories. Ive been a loyal customer to this place for 7 years now. Some friends and I would go there practically everyday, from free pool Mondays, poker nights, and even karaoke. The place was a shit hole, but It was my shit hole. Lots or memories at that place. Since the remodeling, I must say it was a much needed improvement. The facility is modern, lost of big screens. They also have a projector which is nice for Football. The stage was a nice upgrade too, sounds a lot better then before. Drinks are fairly inexpensive which is a plus. I get my usually Jameson & Coke and $4.75 later success! Lots of beer if your a big person, not my thing however. Haven't had any food since the remodeling so I will not comment on that aspect. Staff is nice most of the time. Raiel the bartender is the King of this place, and a personal friend. Good people. On the Weekend there is a cover. Either $3 or $5. I guess it depends on which band is playing that night. Place gets busy, but most of time you can still find a seat. One things that grinds my gears is they went from two pool tables to one. Really? I mean yes they made more space for seating, but that one table is always occupied. Its upsetting. More people means more amenities in my opinion not less. It is what is. Stopped in to sing karaoke. The DJ was definitely playing "favorites"; I got to sing once in three hours, which is unacceptable. Others who've reviewed this venue have referenced in lack of cleanliness and I agree; when I was there the bathrooms were downright filthy. Still, the place attracts an interesting crowd. I been coming here for a while since Tuesday are steak night and they are so delicious especially the stuffed mushrooms they are to die for. Today I was disappointed the steak was overly cooked and broccoli was super salty so was their gratin potatoes. As local dives go, Uncle Alberts isn't bad. The best nights are on Friday & Saturday for Live music, or Thursdays if you like karaoke. Live Music cover charge is $3, and they usually start charging around 8:30pm. The Bands consist of local acts - Rock & Classic Rock. Most of the shows are very good. The dance floor is a bit small, and it's located right by the door, so people coming in usually have to walk through it. They have a huge outdoor patio that allows you to get away from the music if you want to actually hear the conversation you're having. Thursdays the have karaoke run by "The Rev". If you like to sing - he has an excellent sound system. After talking with him, I found out he's been in the business for a very long time. He runs a fair rotation, and did his best to maximize the amount of singers. I've been to quite a few karaoke shows, and I sounded like a professional singer when I sang at his. Kudos to Rev. There are no drink specials on Thu, Fri, or Sat. Domestic pitchers usually run $7, domestic longnecks and pints are $2.75. They do have several preimium beers, all at reasonable prices. All in all, this is a great place to go to hang out with friends to sing karaoke or listen to live music. The majority of the age range is late 20s to 40s. Mondays they have free pool. read more

Somewhat uninviting from the outside but this is actually a nice place. It's clean inside and well laid out as far as seating. Drink prices are excellent. Food menu has 51 items and is reasonably priced. There is a diverse crowd and a lot of regulars. Staff is friendly and always made sure I was taken care of. Live music on the weekends, if you come before 930 you can avoid a cover charge if present. If you're a craft beer drinker you're not going to find much here. They only had one option which was St Arnold's. The rest was mainstream. Smoking is allowed inside. I didn't find the smoke overwhelming but those who are sensitive probably will. read more

Ok that's the minus 1 star... and the parking situation could be better...otherwise, cool bar, 30+ crowd, the band was ok the night I went, could have played better music. Good smoke ventilation. Clean restrooms, but 1 of the 2 stalls in the women's restroom was out of order, good thing the ladies weren't needing to pee at the same time. Ive been here several times and I always enjoy this bar. I havent had the opportunity to eat here but the drinks are always good and the music is great. There's always a diverse crowd that is very friendly and lively. My only complaint is that the tables and bar is almost always dirty and needs to be washed down. I wish this happened before I have to ask but they always clean up the tabletops when I ask. read more

I love the staff here! However.... Did you know that when you become a bar owner it DOES NOT make you more superior then the rest of your staff, or any of us minions. Did you know that food is prepared in the kitchen, Mr. Superior? Which means smoking while in there is unhygienic! You're bar is the perfect example of lack of leadership, your highnass. When you have 1 bartender and 1 in training you don't just stand there, I mean lean against the wall... And watch your staff struggle to serve customers. Pretty fun place. We popped in here on a weeknight to check it out. They had karaoke on Mondays and free bingo thrown in where you can win drinks. Overall it was a nice experience. Normally, service is quite good. Tonight it was a total disaster. Waitress kept bringing the wrong fringe to the table (how hard is Titos & soda to remember). Food took over 30 minutes to show up. Asked to put the UH game on at least one of the TVs. That never happened. Closed out one tab because the horrible waitress was getting off. Ordered another drink.
