Prices are reasonable otherwise, but the size labeling was misleading. The chai was a bit watery, but the maple latte was solid! Finally, I tried their sea salt chocolate chip cookie, which was ok, but I wouldn't get it again as the flavor reminded me of Chips Ahoy cookies, which aren't for me. The cookie itself was chunky and large though, which I can appreciate. Today, was a bit damp so I ordered a hot chai with bite size checkerboard cookies to dip. The barista was very pleasant and I found a seat while waiting for my chai. I see a lot of patrons working in laptops, some meeting up to talk and sip and even the barista chatted with a local patron. Love it! My chai was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The chai was frothy, rich, the black tea leaves infused with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, sweetener, and milk. I savored every sip and complimented the barista. It is always great to find a new coffee place. I expect to be a loyal local at Velvette Brew. They also host music events and have a collaboration with Cry Baby Ice Cream. They were playing r&b which was cool.
