Really wonderful local cafe with coffee, wine and pastries. Small and cozy inside, so there's limited seating, but it has a relaxed vibe and lots of sunlight. There's wifi and the service is wonderful as well. Art Collective Cafe is definitely worth a stop in. Support local!

Cute coffee shop with art pieces on the walls. Each table had fresh flowers. I got an iced cortado which was good. Friendly barista.

Super cute artsy cafe on Union Street. Stopped here for a quick espresso and truffle after a nearby dental appointment. Framed art lines the brick-walls. There are even books and board games for patrons to interact with. Cafe round white marble tables adorned with fresh flowers in mini vases are suitable for solos or groups. Interior is styled with a vintage jukebox and plants. They also serve wine all day. It's a lovely and cozy vibe.

This place was elite! The space is used really well! It looks small from the outside yet inside it feels spacious. Me and my friend went at 3 pm on a Sunday and found a table. The people almost came in waves, it was full at 3, at 3:45 it emptied out, and then at 4:15 new people came. The coffee was very good. My friend got a hot mint tea, which he liked. I got two sandwich cookies, pistachio and Lemon, and they both were stellar. Their cardamon buns also looked really good. I like it when coffee shops have fun pastries instead of just standard croissants and cookies, and this one definitely did. It was a nice mix of people working and chatting, although it never felt loud. The two baristas were helpful and friendly. It felt like they were friends with everyone there. Lastly, the decor is beautiful, the art on the wall is nice and contrasts nicely with the hipster industrial ceiling. I will definitely be going back here.

Cafe interior at night around the holiday. Aliens.

A perfect little hidden gem in Brooklyn! Quiet, cozy, open late. It's such a charming environment with artisanal chocolates, sweets, wine and coffee, who could ask for more??

Check out this gem for a peace of mind. It's a quaint quiet cafe with beautiful art and cute tables with flowers inside. Baristas are always nice, drinks are solid, and most of the pastries are made in house by a pastry chef.

    Loving Art Collective Cafe!!

She's been coming to their place sincemit was down the street and was a really small bakery/cafe. We'd never been and came here on her suggestion. It was fantastic choice. Walking in there were plenty of free tables on a Thursday morning, and we sat far from the front door on a cold winter day. The counter displaynofmcake, cookies and pastries is really gorgeous. Cousin John's offers table service with an extensive menu with omelets, pancakes, French toast and salad. Our server was helpful and very patient with us making our selections. I chose The Berkeley omelette which was pretty good. It came with a delicious salad and fried potatoes that weren't too greasy. Our group also ordered the build your own 3 egg omelette and avocado toast with 2 eggs on top. I also wanted to taste the French toast and I ordered 1 piece. It was all very tasty and satisfying, we left feeling really good. My black coffee was very good and my wife enjoyed her latte with almond milk. The price for our meal was reasonable. I'd highly recommend Cousin John's.

The staff…read morewas extremely friendly and helpful, walking me through my extensive questions and let me sample their alpine soda. I ordered the red endive salad to start. A colorful plate of red leaves, brown candied pecans, white ricotta, and dark blood orange slices- seasoned with a vinaigrette. The palette of the salad was bitter/acidic, but smooths out with the shredded ricotta and pleasantly penetrates with the occasional sweet crunch of the candied pecans. (8/10) I ordered the omelette and the fingerling potatoes. Omelette was pretty, and was pretty solid (hard to compare and nothing to judge). The fingerling potatoes were interesting in that the sauce was whipped/foamed up, which gave it a much lighter, airier texture as opposed to a thick, heavy mayonnaise dip. (7.25/10) I love the interior of Cafe Mado, you enter the restaurant and walk right alongside the kitchen, which is an engaging first impression. This is contrasted with the majority of the restaurant's space, which features quiet seating, and the back atrium is so pretty. Cannot wait to try Cafe Mado for dinner, or when they change the menu (allegedly every other week or so)!
