Good cup of coffee, a bit expensive and pretty local vibes. Don't go out of your way to come here but if you're around, then this is a nice spot to visit for good coffee drinks.
Best Freddo Cappuccino that's I ever had!!! Ordered the Freddo cappuccino with maple flavor and it was perfect!!! Loved this cafe !!! Very cozy and nice cafe to relax!!Will come back try other drinks!!
Cute little coffee shop! We've been for breakfast burritos (although a bit small, they are very tasty) and the cute little teddy bear cookie (which tastes like a madeline cake). I'd love to come back here to try the coffee and maybe even the wine!
Reliable, friendly, and delicious, a true neighborhood spot Casita is one of those places that makes you feel like a regular, even if you're not. The staff are always kind and patient, the service is quick, and they've created a space that feels genuinely welcoming. I stop by here most days for a cold brew or espresso, both are excellent. Their coffee is well-priced, especially for the area, and they offer a solid rewards program (10 drinks = 1 free). Today I grabbed one of their breakfast tacos from King David Tacos, the "Mom's Migas." It was absolutely delicious. The salsa had a good kick, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the flavors were really balanced. It's on the smaller side, and $6 feels a little steep for the size, but the quality makes it worth trying. There's plenty of outdoor seating and a few indoor spots as well. They usually put out water and treats for dogs, which is a nice touch if you're walking your pup. Whether you're passing through or live nearby, Casita's the kind of place you keep coming back to, not because it's trendy, but because it just gets it right.
This is my favorite coffee shop in The Slope. The baristas are friendly and the coffee and tea are great. They have the best breakfast tacos. They also serve beer and wine so it's the perfect spot to stop any time of day.
This is small business spot. You might spot the owner during the mornings as he gives you an update on the breakfast options! I love the empanadas- cheese is my favorite. The coffee is delicious and their speciality coffees are inventive. I love how the owner and his family are connected to the community. To celebrate an anniversary he had cotton candy and popcorn out for the customers! Staff are always friendly and lovely!
A coffee shop that also serves wine is an automatic win for me! I recently visited Casita of Brooklyn which is a Latin & Greek coffee shop that also serves wine, baked goods and merchandise. It was nice to meet the owners, John & Jenn. As an ode to her father they named the Aviator, a brown sugar cinnamon latte, after him. The Greek pastries like the baklava and the spanakopita are made by John's mom. The also sell King David Tacos. I also got to try the Iced Freddo Cappuccino, Guava and cheese empanada and nice crisp white wine. Delish. Perfect way to start and end your day. Staff was nice and I met a few regulars. The decor is on point. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
I absolutely love the vibe in here. There is very minimal seating, so if you're planning to hang around, come early. We just ordered our coffees and headed out. They have fun seasonal/specialty drinks, but the flavors do not mask the bold coffee taste!
Great coffee, great service, great pitstop in my morning walk. Whats more perfect? I look forward to my morning walks. I'm curious about the dirty pumpkin chai... what makes it dirty? I'm intrigued, next time I'll have to try it.
Nothing like their cafe con leche to wake me up! One of my favorite coffees in Brooklyn (said by someone who doesn't play about their sweet treats and drinks), don't forget to order some delicious pastries with your drink! The interior is quaint and cozy, the outside is distinct and stylish! I've been here twice and I'm still looking forward to the next time I have to be in this area.
This is one of my favorite coffee spots in my hood in parkslope. I feel it's very critical to support small businesses and this is one spot I like. I truly enjoy. the coffee it's amazing with a bold flavor as I always order iced coffee with the options of different milks such as almond milk, which I really appreciate.
Adorable neighborhood coffee shop with outdoor seating (pretty small inside) and good vibes all around. They have some specialty coffee drinks as well as food items. I came with a large group after a run yesterday morning (someone called in advance) and they provided us water and a 10% discount! A+ customer service, coffee, and vibes - I would definitely recommend and come back!
Was in search a cup of coffee early morning. Found Casita and stopped and tried their winter special, White Chocolate Raspberry Latte. It was customizable for sweetness. Inside is small, just a few tables, but very welcoming . Service was excellent, quick but not rushed. They do transition into a wine bar in the evening. A wonderful neighborhood cafe.
"Casita of Brooklyn in Park Slope is a cozy, family-owned coffee shop at 318 11th Street. It is famous for its unique mix of Greek and Latin drinks and snacks, like freddo cappuccinos, café con leche, and homemade spanakopita." I'm always looking for different coffee places and as I was in the neighborhood I decided to stop in. First, the ambience, casita, "little house" perfect description for this cozy space. There are two tables and window seating. Second, for a small space, Casita offers numerous beverage options from cappuccino to semi fredo. There are sweets like, morning roll, Belgian waffle, apple cheddar scone and muffins. The savories are breakfast tacos from King David Tacos*, Greek pastries such as spinach pie. I was in the mood for a breakfast taco and only two were left. I ordered Mom's Migas which is a hand rolled soft taco with eggs, jalapeños, crushed tortilla chips and melted cheddar. There is a choice of red or green salsa. I also ordered a large iced cappuccino with foam. Both items were delicious: the taco was scrumptious but a bit small, the cappuccino was refreshing and loved the foam. Casita sells clothing and other items. I will return when I'm off the beaten path in Park Slope. Shoutout to Meg for the friendly service. I consider Casita my home away from home. "King David Tacos is unique because it brings authentic Austin-style, all-day breakfast tacos featuring hand-rolled, preservative-free flour tortillas shipped directly from Texas" King David tacos is on my bucket list, it is off the beaten path in Bergen. Stumbled upon it when I walked from BBG to BKLYN Larder. 318 11th Street Take R to 4th Avenue Ninth Street bear left and walk all the way down read more

Wow love this place. I saw it on Instagram and knew I wanted to try. I was greeted by John, who was clearly an owner by his expertise of customer service. We told him it was our first time and even though there was a line, he was patient to explain everything to us available. They even have King David tacos ! Yum! We had a great croissant and muffin, and the drinks were made with love. The place itself was clean, cute, and charming. We loved the outdoor seating on the calm block of 11th street. We will be back next week. read more

Happened to be in the neighborhood and in need of a quick pick me up - stumbled upon this spot and so glad I did - Cute, cozy, comfortable vibes. Tiny small coffee spot - ordered a Cortado with whole milk and it hit the spot. Staff very friendly and helpful. They have a broad menu with a variety of different choices of coffee - even a specials section if you're looking for something unique. Check 'em out! read more

This spot is nice. The decor is great and the staff was very friendly! We both got the tumeric Rose Latte. The rose petals make it look very aesthetic and the tumeric gives the latte a nice kick. We both enjoyed it. read more

My experience with Brooklyn coffee shops has been overall great but there's always visits when you get your drink not as delicious as previous times - less vanilla syrup, more oat than espresso .... so forth. I've stopped visiting certain places as frequently because of this BUT... CASITA BK has been consistently amazing since my first visit. Cute shop with friendly service, offering drinks, pastries, and now they have their liquor license. My vanilla latte is perfect both iced or hot! If I lived close, I would be here everyday! read more

Clearly a favorite beloved by many, for good reason. The drinks, food, atmosphere, design, products and music are just lovely and the staff are sweet and funny. You know when you walk into a cafe and it's like - YES, comfort in the air, like a warm hug? That's the vibe and it's perfect. I Hope they have more locations so it's closer to me and I can go here every day read more

Craving a good local coffee spot, I'm in the area for my son's camp this week. I saw that Casita had some solid love and walked over to check it out. Cafe con Lèche and Aviator were really lovely drinks. On rainy days, their street covered space sports 2 tables and a nice place to stay dry. Service was excellent, and the Spinach Greek Pie is perfect for a savory Bite. I'll be back as my son's camp winds down!!! read more

Really delicious pastries!! I got a guava and cheese pastry and a beef empanada. They were both really fresh and hot! The guava and cheese had a good amount of filling, and the breading was soft and sweet. I also thought that the beef empanada was super yummy and that it's filling-to-bread ratio was on point. This is also one of my friend's favorite places to go in Brooklyn, and he's a total bakery snob, so that's saying a lot! read more

This is such a cute little cafe. I sat in the outside (covered) area to get some work done and was comfortable and cozy! I had a cappuccino which was nice and strong. There's a small table available inside too but the outside area was way more spacious. I noticed that they also have happy hour and wine/beer which is a nice transition into the evening. read more

I came across Casita on my way home from work, and couldn't help notice how sweet and dreamy this little coffee shop was. The whole ambiance was very inviting and gave you that feeling of comfort. I ordered the cafe con leche (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND), and a few of the Greek pastries that I'm still salivating over. Such a sweet and yummy new addition to Park Slope. read more

I can't say enough positive things about Casita. The product is delicious and the owners are so kind. The aviator latte is amazing and my go to. So thankful to have such an amazing establishment in the neighborhood. Forever a loyal customer! read more
This place isn't a 3 star but also couldn't give it a 4 star... so somewhere in between. Loved the small cute feel. Feels like what a cafe should be like. Ordered an almond milk cortado. Not an easy espresso drink to make and the espresso was great. Nice and strong with bold flavor but the ratio of milk to espresso was off a bit and I didn't really get that cut that one expects with the milk. Staff was friendly. Tad pricey relative to other local spots. I'll go here again. Want to try the pastries and give the cortado or latte another GO. Definitely worth checking out. read more
