Authentic food, great wine(pricey) but really. Good ambience. I would go back as date night .
An evening at TERRE BK is a reminder of how special true Italian cooking can be. This beautiful, intimate Brooklyn restaurant offers a genuine farm-to-table experience, with so many of their ingredients crafted in-house. We began with a classic Burrata e Prosciutto, the perfect balance of creaminess and salt. For our main courses, we enjoyed the handmade Pasta "Terrelle" al Ragù, a Mediterranean branzino wrapped in a delicate potato crust, and Gnocchetti served with burrata and porcini mushrooms also adding a secret menu creamy dish! Each dish carried the depth and freshness that only house-made ingredients can provide. Paired with their own homemade Sauvignon Blanc, the entire meal felt thoughtful, warm, and beautifully executed an evening filled with great attentive service, authentic flavors and a truly comforting atmosphere.
Popped in early on a Monday night for a meal. Place was quiet and service was attentive. Tried the non alcoholic Negroni and would recommend if that's your vibe! Both our pasta dishes were heavenly, easily some of the best we've had. Al dente and the perfect bite, and such flavorful sauces. The pesto and the ragu were both divine.
This is one of the best Italian spots in Park Slope, Brooklyn. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you feel like you're in Italy. Everything on the menu looked amazing, so I had the waiter choose my dish/wine pairing and he did a great job! I got the pesto with shrimp. The pasta is handmade and the wine is natural from Italy. The pesto is made the day of in the morning. All fresh ingredients. They have indoor seating and then more seating in the back that is the perfect spot. I love the exposed brick wall. This might be my new favorite Italian spot. I will be back soon! Thank you for the amazing experience.
I had an amazing experience at Terre two years ago for a friend's birthday dinner. I always wanted to come back but couldn't remember the name. I stumbled upon it again while walking the neighborhood and decided to have a solo dinner here on June 30th. My experience wasn't the greatest. I was sat close to the expo window which I loved, I was given a wine spinner for my wine to be selected by my server but after that I was not attended to. Servers walked past, tables were being bust and my server never came back to hand me a menu. As a result of a 20 minute wait, I decided to close my bill and leave the restaurant. I did call the restaurant the next day to tell them about this experience. After speaking with the manager, I provided my name and number and was told the restaurant would reach out to make up this experience but no one has followed up.
My honey and I chose Terre for an impromptu date night on our last day on vacation in Brooklyn. The restaurant had solid European vibes with the tiny tables and bustling kitchen, without the blaring little Italy overstimulation. The staff was incredibly friendly and let us take our time despite showing up at 8:30 pm for a full dinner. They are known for their "natural wines" and instead of a wine list, provide an emotion/color wheel that assist you in picking a wine for your occasion! We had a fabulous bottle of Chianti to pair with the grilled octopus, porcini mushroom gnochetti, and mussel special of the day. Every bite felt carefully curated and incredibly flavorful. We will absolutely return when in Brooklyn again!
I walked by here the other day and really liked the ambiance so I decided to check it out. Service was good but they were just opening for the evening so it wasn't busy at all. I found the pasta to be decent but not memorable. I didn't like that the shrimp wasn't deveined. The boar pasta was a bit better but I think the beef ragu would've been just as good or even better. The portion size is small so you may need to order a couple of apps though almost all menu items are overpriced. We paid $80 for two pastas which included tax and tip. The specials offered were $42. Because of the price and what you get, I'm not sure I'd go back but it is a very warm and charming spot.
Came here for dinner and wow, what a great experience. My friend and I came in after hearing great things and weren't disappointed. I ordered the pasta with the braised boar ragu and it was DELICIOUS. The pasta was al dente and the wine we had paired was the perfect compliment. The waiter was so great and had the best accent. The service was wonderful and the environment was romantic and so nice. Will recommend to all my friends and come back.
I really like this place, and it's one of my favorite restaurants in this corner of Brooklyn. Loves: + Incredibly nice staff. I just want to be friends with everyone there?!? + The pappardelle with wild boar ragu ($32) is divine, the extra virgin olive oil tasting ($17) is fun, and the rib-eye ($40) came with more meat than I thought + Love their little Italian sodas + Really cute indoor and outdoor areas Truly this place is exceptional. I really didn't enjoy my lobster crab pasta dish. It didn't taste good at all. Felt kind of random and there wasn't much seafood to justify the price. The sauce was very not creamy. I tried bites of other people's pastas and they were much better, but still not amazing. I would strongly recommend against the crab lobster pasta, and maybe any seafood pasta in general. The vibe was extremely loud and crowded so it's definitely an experience. Had to shout over dinner. Great service and cute interior.
I would summarize this restaurant as good but not great. I dined here alone and was sat at the counter. My initial server was lovely and we chatted through what wine I would like (she ultimately suggested a chilled red which was lovely). I then had another server approach me and ask if I was ready to order, so placed my order. There seemed to be a little confusion as my original server then approached me and asked if I wanted to hear about specials (which I didn't know they had) and place my order. It is a bit of a shame that the lady who had taken my food order didn't outline any specials as a couple sounded really good. My bruschetta arrived really quickly and was tasty, although I think there could have been a little more seasoning to really bring out the full flavour. I had only just finished that course (literally just put down my knife and fork) and then my main was delivered, the wild boar pappardelle. Whilst the pappardelle was delicious it had followed so quickly from my starter that I felt uncomfortably full by the end of it. I had been hoping to have dessert but instead grabbed the cheque and left, with my 2 courses being done and completed in about 30 minutes. I had been hoping for a slightly more leisurely pace with a chance to really soak up the atmosphere and explore the wine menu a bit more so the speed of service was a bit of a shame (although note that this is more of a personal preference for me as I do enjoy a slower pace for my meals). Although the food was good I am not sure I would return here. I think there are other places locally which just hit the spot a little bit more with food and service. They do have a great wine list and the staff are very knowledgeable so if you do visit make sure to ask for their recommendations.
This place is adorable! Loved the interior design -- feels like they made the most of a pretty tight space. The service was great--our waitress was super attentive and forgiving of my terrible pronunciation. I had the tagliatelle with beef ragu, and it was amazing. You think there's not enough there but it was more than enough food. For dessert we had the lemon and pistachio gelato which were both excellent. This place is a tad on the pricey side but it was a special occasion (birthday) so it was perfect.
Made a reservation for a Friday night. My boyfriend and I shared: + Buffalo mozzarella with anchovies + Tonnarelli cacio pepe + Fusilli al pesto and shrimps Food was solid, not amazing. Great vibe and service though! 3.5 stars.

Terre is an ultra cute and homey neighborhood restaurant with a killer natural wine list and some extremely knowledgeable servers. Instead of picking a wine from a menu, you tell your server the flavor and mood of wine you're looking for and they bring out glasses or a bottle for you based on that. The food here is delicious and I was happy to see gluten free pasta options. The pork ragu was good but I was truly impressed by how good the texture of the gluten free pasta was. For me, the show stopper was the branzino. It was seasoned perfectly and the potato crust was a fun touch. The salad was nice and simple, but didn't blow me away. Portion sizes were good, though the prices are on the higher side. The restaurant is a great place for a friends' night or date night, and I'd keep the group small or make a reservation in advanced because it gets busy. It is definitely a more expensive spot, but worth it! read more

For a while, I always thought you had to jump into Manhattan for a neighborhood Italian restaurant, but that's just not true. In Park Slope, Terre has a terrific family owned Italian restaurant that was a delight to dine at. The service was really enjoyable as the waiter (who is proudly Italian) walked us through the menu and welcomed us like we were family. A Brooklyn characteristic unapologetically creeps through here: it's a natural wine forward menu (hipsters rejoice!), no beer but they do have other wines. We ordered the black truffle burrata with prosciutto and it was delicious. Burrata was quite fresh and complemented the prosciutto perfectly. For the entree, I had the rigatoni with fresh crab. To say the least, it was the best pasta that I had in recent memory. The rigatoni was al dente and amazing; each bite was addictive. The crab along with the lobster bisque and homemade sauce more than fulfilled my seafood lover's desire. You best not skip out on the opportunity eat here. Go, don't think twice. read more

Super mom-and-pop vibes.. like a nonna is in the back making all the pastas by hand haha I've visited twice in the past 6 months (once in Summer & once in Winter). I was seated in their outdoor terrace both times. In Winter, there's heaters and they do provide blankets but it's still a bit chilly. Some favorite dishes: Cacio e pepe, ribeye steak, any charcuterie meats, Burrata & prosciutto app, fussili with pesto, and boar ragu. But honestly you can't wrong with anything because their pastas are so yummy. Such a gem in Park Slope! I'd come back if I'm in the mood for Italian and don't feel like trekking to the city. read more

The HYPE IS REAL. The positive reviews are on point! The servers are Italian, the cooks are Italian it's like a little Italy.... the Italian server accents are also romantic AF! Are you looking for a taste of authentic Milan Italian cuisine in the heart of Park slope well here comes Terre a complete gem. The staff is amazing and is really looking to make their customers happy anything you need they are there. For any recommendations on wines they know exactly what to bring out. They will sit you in the place That makes you the most happiest. I highly recommend the outdoor dining area as it is really gorgeous. They do not rush you and let you enjoy the ambience....the food is absolutely outstanding and super fresh. I highly recommend the pasta it is to die for this place is it. I will definitely be back and highly recommend you pay a visit if you were in the area it is worth the trip. Can't wait to go back! That GNOCHHI WAS THE BOMB! read more

Cute little restaurant with ambiance that reminds you of Italy with live music during dinner. Great place to bring a date. The service was excellent and the waiter provided alot of options and pairings of wine. The pasta was delicious and was well deserving for 5 stars. read more
This was my favorite place that we ate on our trip to NYC. We were brought here by our friends who frequent this place often and they know the waiter well. We started with the balsamic tasting and cheese pairing. They make their own balsamic and this is a must try here. It was a lot of fun and very interesting and I learned a lot from it. The gnocchi was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I would come to NYC again just to eat this lol. I also very much enjoyed the boar ragu. Ask your waiter about what wines to pair with the dishes you order!! We loved the ones chosen. They will let you taste it before to make sure you like it. Finish off with the tiramisu!!! I would absolutely positively recommend this place above the multitude of Italian places to choose from in New York! read more
Food (4/5): - I ordered the boar ragu papardelle, a glass of Syrah, and their special dessert which was some sort of strawberry mouse - Boar ragu papardelle was very filling and perfectly portioned for one person. It was delicious, rich, and quite enjoyable - The glass of Syrah was good and strong. If I go again, I would probably want to try something else - Their special dessert was decent, but felt a bit unrefined compared to their main menu. On the positive side, I enjoyed the sweetness of the mouse especially with the crunchiness from the biscuits underneath. However, I wish I ordered something else instead. While I still enjoyed the taste and how it wasn't too sweet, I'm not sure I would have paid $22 for it - I will say that this place is quite pricey, so keep that in mind Service (5/5): - Service is where Terre really shines and what makes them a solid 4 star for me. They are so incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. Their service is honestly top notch Ambiance (5/5): - Very aesthetic/well-decorated and also on the classy side - Warm, friendly atmosphere - Great for groups and dates! read more

Ended up in the neighborhood recently with a friend who recommended we go to Terre! We stepped into the restaurant, which from a first glance looks really small and intimate, but opens up with some additional seating in the back. The decor is beautiful and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We ordered the bruschetta to start - very generous amount of tomato and the bread was warm and fresh. Then, we both ended up ordering the Truffle gnocchi. The flavor was so rich (in the best way) and the texture right on point. The experience reminded me of my time in Italy, and I look forward to returning. read more

Terre delivered a wonderful dining experience with warm service and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. We tried the pappardelle with boar ragu and the octopus, both of which were flavorful and beautifully presented. The food overall was a solid 4/5, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation. We did not try their wine selection, even though it is one of their specialties, but it definitely caught our attention for next time. All in all, the experience was a 5/5, and we are already looking forward to returning. read more
Very cozy environment, good place to go with friends. Went with a group of people and we shared a bunch of pastas family-style-- favorites were definitely the pesto shrimp pasta great flavor!) and the truffle gnocchi (so fluffy). Artichoke toast appetizer was okay, nothing particularly noteworthy. For dessert, we tried the special, which was panettone, which I liked more than I thought I would. Chocolate hazelnut mousse was also tasty. Ngl things are fairly pricey here (especially the desserts) but not outrageously so. read more

I really enjoyed this place! I am big on ambiance and this restaurant has it! I was seated in the outdoor terrace and it was beautiful! I am a big a big fan of bread and their oil tasting was lovely. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I appreciated our waiter assisting us on wine selection and even allowing a tasting before we selected a glass. Beautiful Italian restaurant with great food and service. I came here with a group of friends on a Saturday night for dinner. We called about an hour ahead to see if they would be able to seat us, and thankfully they were! I ordered the fresh pappardelle with boar ragu, and it was delicious. I would recommend trying one of Terre's pasta dishes; they make their pastas in-house and the quality is excellent. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, which could easily serve 2+ people. The inside of the restaurant is intimate (small) and beautiful. I think it'd be a great place for a date. read more

Terre was delicious! The papardelle was to die for. The service was also amazing. The servers were very attentive and explained everything super well. The ambiance was also very cute. We went for a birthday party, but also great date vibes. Highly recommend!! read more

I am so happy that I finally made it to this restaurant! When I came in, it seemed so familiar to me as if I've been here before. It turns out that I have! I was here when the entire place was L'Albero Dei Gelati. I knew that I recognized the setup. Coming here for dinner was an amazing experience! I loved how the staff greeted you in Italian. Our waitress was the best! She was so friendly and knowledgeable about the wines, entrees, and cheeses. She gave us great recommendations! We weren't sure what wine to try out and she gave us both a tasting of two types of wine based on what we liked. She knew exactly which types we should try to make a decision. The food here was absolutely delicious and fresh! Appetizers: Crostino | Artichokes Vegan Grilled artichokes "Violetto di Puglia" on sourdough bread Endive w / Fresh We had the special, where we did the tasting of their balsamic vinegar and cheese platter. Definitely worth trying! Entrees Gnocchi with Truffle Burrata with Porcini Mushrooms Wow!!!!! It was delicious! Pappardelle with Boar Ragu It was delicious! Dessert Panna Cotta al' balsamico gold We enjoyed our whole experience here and will definitely return! You really should make reservations! read more

This place was so lovely! Super cute inside with friendly and attentive servers. I had a grapefruit Negroni mocktail which was delicious. I had the bruschetta (vegan!) for an appetizer and the mushroom gnocchi for my entree. The mushrooms were incredibly tender and the sauce was rich and delicious. Really great texture on the pasta too. To finish off my meal I had an espresso which was smooth and delicious. I will make a point of returning here next time I'm in Brooklyn! read more

Is it wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately not. It is a very narrow space (much as I love it) and difficult even for able-bodied people to walk through. But the owners are very nice and I am sure they would find a way to accommodate you if you made prior arrangements. Happy to…
