Got the iced coffee, and I was surprised that it came with milk. The service wasn't super friendly and the drink wasn't standout, but I would try to come back again in the fall/winter, as their selection of hot beverages seemed more interesting than iced ones. There's plenty of seating inside, which I appreciate though! it would be a good spot to catch up with a friend.

Great local spot with delicious drinks as well as food. They have a few tables outside as well as a very large interior space with lots of seating options. I came with a big group and they were very accommodating of us. We'll be back!

Love this spot in Prospect Heights! It's open late which is great as there aren't many coffee shops open late in the area. The Yemeni tea and the cookie were delicious. The ambiance is super active and there is plenty of seating available. Would definitely be back.

I stopped by BonTree to grab an iced yemeni chai and it did not disappoint! The staff was helpful and friendly. The ambiance of the cafe was nice for working or meeting up with a friend - I just got my drink to go since I was spending the morning out around prospect park!

Spacious cafe with high quality, large portioned food options; great Yemeni tea and coffee; lots of seating+outlets for working; and one of the only (and best) cafes for late study. The owner and entire staff are very friendly -- say hi!

Beautiful, relaxed cafe. Sign outside says "best coffee in the world" and I will say, it's pretty good. The staff is super friendly, their pastries look SCRUMPTIOUS (I can't wait to try one of those chunky cookies one day) and I love that they let me bring my dog in while I order.

The espresso is good! For some reason the latte with oat milk was better than the one with whole milk. The espresso with whole milk was a bit too sour. Overall still recommend! Loved the little cafe.

    Cute and clean cafe

The mango is a standout, and the brownies are honestly next-level--warm, decadent, and just a step away from a perfect lava cake. They've also got amazing cakes (including a fantastic carrot cake) and a great selection of treats that keep you coming back. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner, Peter. He's always welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He greets customers with a smile, takes the time to say hello, and creates an atmosphere that feels both personal and inviting. The staff deserves just as much praise--every single one of them is amazing: professional, friendly, funny, and kind. I've known many of them over time, and they consistently go above and beyond. Today, one of the staff members was incredibly sweet--she even brought my order out to me while I was sitting in my car. That kind of service is rare and really shows how much they care. The shop itself is spotless--seriously clean, top to bottom--and there's even a cozy outdoor seating area where you can sit and enjoy your coffee or dessert. Brooklyn FARMACY at its best--fresh, friendly, local, and full of charm. Highly recommend stopping by--you won't regret it.

Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Drinks were a vibe too. The Pomegranate Cosmo was deep pink, orchid-topped and delicious. The Hot Crush brought a bright kiwi flavor with just enough spice to keep it interesting. And the Brown Sugar Soft Serve with halva oat crumble to finish? Light, a little crunchy and the perfect ending.

Seating space (not a lot of it, so I imagine it can get packed on busy times) and bathrooms on premises. Hot chocolate was delicious. We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana. Not a big portion for such hefty price. The tiny addition of toppings didn't make this banana split come together into a cohesive dish. Would get something else next time. Definitely not a good deal. Young lovely girls at the cashier were super friendly and accommodating. The not so young gentleman with a mustache who brought our order to the table was very dismissive and rude when we asked him to please bring us a correct order (he carried multiple orders and was harried to be done delivering them and barked something incoherent at us when we asked for help).

The shop itself is small but cute, nicely decorated, with 2 mini tables and a couple of windowsill seats if you want to sit for a bit. Staff was super friendly and generous with samples, which I appreciated since some of the flavors are definitely outside the usual ice cream comfort zone. They also sell pints to take home. Flavor-wise, I tried the masala chai, black cherry cardamom, and the saffron soft serve. The saffron soft serve reminded me of the leftover milk from ras malai turned into soft serve, which was interesting and nostalgic. The masala chai and cherry cardamom were more subtle than I hoped. Some tasted unique upfront but left a slightly weird aftertaste that kind of lingered. I respect what they're trying to do and can see why people love it, especially if you're easing into more globally inspired desserts, but for the price, I wanted stronger flavor payoff and a cleaner finish. TLDR: Unique global inspired ice cream flavors, friendly staff, and free samples, but some flavors felt muted and had an odd aftertaste. Worth trying once if you're curious, but expensive for what it is.
