I got the iced orange spiced latte and it had a great orange flavor without being overpowering, but also the coffee taste still came through. Mine was about $6.50 i believe. This is a very cute and cozy spot! The interior is so beautifully decorated despite it being quite small inside. A handful of seating inside as well as some seating outside in the patio in the front. Staff is so welcoming and kind, too. I got a pumpkin crème latte and a honey cake and the cake was delicious. I love when pastries have a good level of sweet and never overly so. My standard test for a coffee shop is usually a Flat White. Ordered one at Enso and was really hopeful given the amount of positive reviews on Google. Unfortunately, either the barista was new or she was too preoccupied cleaning her handheld frother. What I ended up getting was a small cup of what tasted like milk - a rushed, under-extracted shot of espresso with milk that was not frothed at the slightest (likely because no one was looking at the milk and instead doing something else while steaming it). This is place is cute and the honey cake is solid. And that's where the good things end. It's vibe over quality - they dont seem to know anything about coffee. My flat white was foamy and boiling hot. Espresso was low quality. I thought the New Yorkers with taste are in Brooklyn? What gives the high ratings here? Strictly for the basics. Heard about this new cafe and walked in with my stroller. Although they had a few seats outside in nice foliage weather, my toddler and I plopped on their side seat across the cafe room from their sofa. I had a non-watered down matcha latte. Was excited to try out this new neighborhood coffee shop and really wanted to like it. Cold brew was good, though I was not a fan of the oat bars. Unfortunately one of the employees (woman with blonde hair) decided to take a smoke break right outside in the entrance doorway. Every time the door opened, the smoke would waft inside. Worst of all, when she finished, she threw her cigarette butt on the ground in front of the cafe right next to where a new tree is being planted. Will not be returning here as a customer. read more
