Inside - The image shows a small, cluttered interior space, likely a cafe or kitchen, with a white door at the back. The ceiling has visible pipes and a hanging green lamp. Shelves hold cups, jars, and utensils, while a counter displays a flower vase, a pink water bottle, and other kitchen items. The space includes a wall-mounted fan, an air conditioning unit, and various decorative and functional objects, creating a busy, functional environment.

Delicious coffee and super friendly staff. I love the cute outdoor seating area and that they serve in mugs and glasses to promote less waste. I brought a big running group here and the staff was super accommodating to us after letting them know in advance we'd be a big group. I will be coming back on my own and with the group!

The image shows a coffee shop counter with handwritten signs on the front, including a sign for avocado priced at $5.25 and other signs describing menu items like pastries and drinks. Behind the counter, a person wearing a mask is working, with coffee equipment, a cash register, and shelves with supplies visible. The shop has a modern interior with hanging lights and a wall-mounted fan.

I was staying with a friend in the area and I got to check out this place twice. The vibe here is great, it's basically just a garage with two people working out of it -- a nice outdoor sitting area that is now somewhat common for the NYC area. I will say the pastry was just OK, so I'd stick with coffee and matcha!

Latte - A person is holding a paper cup of latte with a light pink foam top in front of a white brick wall. The wall features four illustrated stickers of coffee-related items, arranged vertically and attached with blue tape. The stickers depict a coffee bean, a heart-shaped latte art, a muffin, and a can of coffee. The setting appears to be inside a coffee shop or similar environment.

Stopped by during my lunch break and it did not disappoint. I love that this place is run out of the garage & I felt like I walked into someone's apartment when I entered. It is small but cozy and has an outdoor seating area which must be nice on warm days. I ordered a latte & the barista was very kind. A little pricy but I'm happy to support local businesses, plus the coffee was delicious!

A true small neighborhood local coffee shop feel, equipped with an open garage door as the entrance and an entire focus on producing less waste. There are a few groups of seats situated out front in a way that makes you feel like you're just hanging out with friends, and they're all Covid distance approved. The coffee is great and they have pastries/food items as well. AND!! They use matcha from Kettl for their matcha lattes. (If you haven't been to Kettl, look them up on Yelp, too!) They use compostable cups and, the best part is that they actually have a compost bin for you to throw your cup in afterwards. The have cool eco friendly products throughout the front of the shop, too.

Inside a small coffee shop, a woman with blonde hair tied back is preparing a beverage at the counter. She is wearing a yellow top and shorts, with a face mask pulled down. The shop has shelves with cups, jars, and equipment, and a display case with baked goods in the foreground. The space features a white wall, a small fan, and hanging lights, creating a casual and functional atmosphere.

I was in the neighborhood and saw this coffee shop. I got the matcha latte. It was so milky and super light. It was $7.50 and so not worth.

I'm very disappointed by the chai. It just tastes like milk. Honestly, more like diluted milk--even milk has more flavor.

Overall disappointed. The matcha wasn't great and neither were the vibes. Plus it's almost $2 extra for non-dairy milk.

You must have the Brussels sprouts!! I'd go back for those in a minute! I very much enjoyed my salmon dish. Lovely presentation and preparation but portion a bit small. However, the Brussels sprouts were so generous portion that even after sharing there was "take home" for us. The chocolate mousse was extraordinary! I don't even want to know the calorie count - but worth it!! My one negative was the chill of the Cabernet Yes, I know that's the trend but personally I prefer room temp especially in cold weather The restaurant owner was gracious, staff actually charming and accommodating We are recommending this place to family and friends and plan to return especially when going to BAM ENJOY!!

Walked in and was able to get a seat without reservation, but it definitely filled up by 6/7 pm. The place is dimly lit and the tables are quite small. For the food, we got their Brussel sprouts, shrimp, salmon entree and chicken entree. Our favorite were definitely the shrimp. But everything else when eaten together tasted a bit too greasy and felt monotonous in terms of flavor. Brussel sprouts were fried and held to a decent amount of oil, then the addition of tahini made it even more oily. Pan chicken we expected whole pieces of chicken but it was more like a thin chicken cutlet. The salmon came with a cauliflower puree which tasted so rich (with butter), but I couldn't finish it bc it was so rich.

I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask. I think it's definitely worth checking out, and it's a good place for a cheap & simple meal that's still quirky and fun.

Perhaps I should have anticipated that, or my mistake in ordering. I also ordered a Moroccan egg salad sandwich which was substantive but surprisingly bland--sparse with the advertised capers and pickled red onions to give it more punch. I've always loved the look of the spot and the vibe--funky decor, outside and indoor facing counters to order, with some outdoor seating for people watching on Dekalb or heading nearby Ft. Greene Park. I see they are renovating and rebranding a bit and adding some burger component. While I didn't love it, I'd definitely give it another shot.
