Came by this café on a Tuesday afternoon to study. There are lots of tables and chairs. I found myself a comfy couch and got to work. Surprisingly there was an outlet nearby but from my brief search around the café, outlet availability wasn't as strong as I would hope. I also appreciated that the music wasn't too loud in this café, better for those who are there to focus. There are also a few outdoor tables. Of note, the bathroom door does not lock but did not notice any accidental intrusions during the few hours I was there. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake danish, a macaroon and a latte. All reasonably priced for the area I think. Service was fine, nothing exceptional. My order came out correct and tasted as expected. Warm and welcoming vibes with solid pastry and great coffee. I tend to swing by after enjoying time in Prospect Park, and it always hits the mark. The everything croissant is my go-to, though there are lots of both sweet and savory options available. The space is a big part of the draw. It's a great place to read or work or meet with a small group of friends. Lots of light, seating both inside and outdoors, which makes it an excellent spot to visit anytime of the year. Stopped by to try iced matcha on oatmilk. The drink was really good. The barista was friendly and served my drink relatively fast compared to a small line there. I had walked by this place many times and admired the overall aesthetic and shade of blue on the awning and seating on my way to something that didn't give me time to stop for coffee, and I bookmarked it for a leisurely, sunny day. I expected to love it here, and I did. I tried both an espresso drink (decaf iced cappuccino) and a summer special Lavender London Fog, and both were delightful, the latter--Earl Grey tea, lavender syrup, and (oat) milk--a revelation (and a soporific despite the caffeinated tea). I sat inside with a friend chatting for a few hours, but most of the other patrons were on their laptops. This would be a great third space for people whose work isn't confidential and a great place to read, with its own library. I will definitely be back to try a regular cup of coffee, cold brew, and unadulterated espresso and to learn more about the beans, which appear proprietary. read more

Plenty of seating indoors, including couches as well as tables with chairs. Big windows, lots of natural light, indoor greenery. Music isn't oppressively loud. There are also a few tables and chairs outdoors (actually outdoors, not in plastic heated bubbles). Newly opened cafe in an already saturated area with similar offerings but this has a nice vibe , large enough space and play good music not too loud not too soft! Snag a communal seat at the table in the middle, drink coffee , do work and watch people and cars go by! It's actually nice and bright as well - a cafe with natural light that flows horizontally- that's the key right there ! Find the staff very cold and sour. At the extremely high prices for everything I expect more. There are signs telling you not to touch their glass counters and if you accidentally do that you get your head handed to you. This morning I bought a coffee and asked for a drink card and a punch and the woman sneered and looked at me like I had two heads. 95% of the people frequenting this place are either caucasian or asian which is the norm in Park Slope and as a person of color I've felt like I've been treated differently and disrespectfully. Friendly and quick service here. Got a summer peach iced tea which was OK, I expected it to be slightly sweet and have more peach flavor. Also got a bacon and cheese croissant which was decent.
