Shakshuka Toast, Egg & Cheese Sandwich

Little Roy Coffee is such a cute coffee shop. There's a few tables inside and I love stopping by for a quick meal or to study for a few hours. The shakshuka toast is my favorite on the menu. It's freshly prepared with eggs, cherry tomatoes, and topped with arugula. The bread was toasted to perfection and paired well with the Drip coffee. The latte art is absolutely stunning! The cappuccino had an adorable heart on it. This was one of the best cappuccinos I've had.

I was in the area to participate in a Yelp Elite Event and sadly the establishment was closed. What to do on a 3H day: hot, humid and hellish? Grab an iced coffee! Luckily Little Roy was next to Elite Event thus a little gem was waiting for me. Little Roy is perfect for any stop in your day: pre or post work, meeting friends, working from home or you can rename that working from Little Roy's! Lol! The menu is short and sweet which I sometimes prefer when it come to coffee selection. They offer usual coffee selection: lattes, cappuccinos, cortado, etc. For food there are tasty options from yogurt with granola to avocado toast and pastries. The employee was very sweet and prepared a delicious iced latte with oat milk.. hit the spot on a 3H day. The cafe is quaint, small and cozy.. I prefer window seating, which was comfy, to look out and people watch. Although I do not live near Nostrand Avenue, thus the trek is s bit long, I can highly recommend this to the locals.

Loved coming here, it was so serene and calm! The avocado toast was herb flavor forward and I really enjoyed it with my matcha latte! I later had the iced chai and it became my favorite drink there, haha! It was a pleasant surprise to see the Free Palestine poster, I just don't see that a lot since I live in Arizona. Would come here again for sure!

This place is right next to my new Pilates studio so after an early morning class, I needed something to drink while I had work/meetings. I have been to lips cafe before across the street so I wanted to try something new. This place is relatively small and light with seating for a pair of friends or a small group. They also had wifi which helped me to do my tasks before I had to boogie on home. The person there was generally nice and did my order efficiently. Though the space had a couple of people, it was quite on the quiet side which is fun especially on Nostrand Avenue. I only ordered a chai latte with oat milk because I wasn't in the mood for a toast, a granola bowl or a sandwich at the moment and I didn't want to be too caffeinated which looking back it is a shame because they are very coffee bean orientated. The chai latte was fine. I can come back here in the future and would try a pastry and a cappuccino.

Alter the corner from my house is little Roy, it's been there about 2 yrs now. This is the perfect spot for having your morning coffee with family or friends. There's indoor and outdoor seating (once it's warm) there's a community board, ppl in the neighborhood used the space as their office. My go to is a iced vanilla oat milk latte no matter the weather, my kid loves their hot chocolate and their ice teas. The best thing I love about little Roy's is that their beans are freshly roasted when walking through neighborhood you can smell it in the air.

I love Little Roy. Delicious coffee and espresso. Bomb pastries and consistently tasty avocado toast. They also have a great selection of teas. You can't go wrong! The space is open, full of light and extremely inviting. Great staff and service. Unpretentious and down to earth, which is sometimes hard to find in a coffee shop in Brooklyn. I always enjoy my time at Little Roy and highly recommend!

Cute spot that is a great addition to the neighborhood! The first thing I noticed, beyond the outdoor seating, was the interesting wall design. I inquired about it and was told that it was what was found under the wall paper and they decided to keep it. Very cool. The coffee is good and it's nice that they also have real food. I tried the goat cheese and fig toast. It was delicious! Though how can fig and goat cheese together be bad? But it's also covered in za'atar and a little olive oil. Yum. I also tried a cinnamon bun/sticky bun pastry. Really delicious.

Swung by here before work to grab a coffee and some beans before a week of work. Was a pleasant environment in the morning with peaceful jazz music playing and the smell of fresh coffee. I didn't spend a ton of time here but think it would be a great place to spend some time relaxing. Space wise there was small tables and would be good for small groups 2-3. The staff was polite and helpful and they have some outdoor space as well. I had the drip which was standard and flavorful. Bought a bag of beans which were not my favorite but not bad by any means. Lacked some complexities I expect from smaller roasters. Overall; chill place with decent coffee.

No indoor dining at this cafe due to covid but you can go order and pickup. One of my favorites in my neighborhood. Do check them out.

This is a small cafe with a great deal of character. Good things and places come in small packages and this Cafe is one of them. The music is very soothing and relaxing. I would recommend this cafe to anyone looking to get away from the normal hustle and bustle of New York. I would definitely come back to this Cafe. The coffee was so good I had to have another cup. The muffins are to die for and my egg sandwich with cheese was really good and fresh.

While I only had the chai latte (tasted very little of the traditional chai spices and more like coffee) it was enough to know a few things. One, clean the machine more often to reduce flavor profiles from bleeding from cup to cup. Two, be sure tip the very kind batista. This place is lovely and low key. Would come again for the coffee since it seemed to taste just like chai tea.

This is a great cafe in the flatbush Brooklyn area. It's a small space but not cramped. Here are my reasons for the score. 1. The hot chocolate is awesome. So rich. Gotta love it 2. I tried the bagel(cinnamon) egg and cheese which had a mild peppery flavor 3. Quick service One downside to cafe is space. May not be the best for large groups.

I went with two friends so were able to try three different sandwiches and to be honest, they were all just alright. The food: Roast Pork Special- Fried Eggplant, Provolone, Broccoli Rob- The texture of the pork came off a bit dry, the eggplant was good but kinda gets lost in the sandwich so if I literally had it on it's own I would have appreciated it more but who eats fried eggplant by itself? The rob was nice it added a nice crunch but didn't offer that much flavor. Giuseppe Special- Eggplant parm, meatballs, melted mozzarella. I couldn't get over how soggy the bread was. It was like wet paper towel to me. Soggy bread and everything kinda tasting the same made it underwhelming. Nicky Special- It just tasted like salad in between bread. There was so much veg, that was the main thing I remember in that sandwich.

And one of the greatest chefs I've ever had the pleasure to know. And I've known my share of cats who made their livings and their names in a kitchen. From the very first day I discovered Brancaccio's I felt a magic a connection that I knew would change my life, make my belly really f--kin' happy and set my soul a-dancin'. On that first day Joe and I talked about the great food of NY; most of it gone but not forgotten by those who were of the time. We both lamented the lose of the legendary Zito's bakery on Bleecker. I can't tell you how long it had been since I'd ran into someone who even remembered Zito's much less was intimate with the place. I knew I was home. This was well over a decade ago. I won't go into specific things on Joe's menu that are worth trying because quite literally... everything is amazing. It just is! Soul satisfying beyond my ability to do justice to. I'd also like to throw out as an example of the humanity of the joint and it's capt. Joe... Joe treats his employees with respect, R E S P E C T as Aretha belted, dignity and the aforementioned humanity which is beautiful and virtually non-existent these days as far as I can see... and you can taste it in his food. Finally I like to say two or three things: First that as I initially identified myself as "used to being a regular" as and this is by no means a boo-hoo thing simply a fact... I fell pretty ill for a while and am just now beginning my reentry into the world. And as a matter of fact during the recent drag of days for me a thought kept slamming into the walls of my head and that was that I couldn't wait to once again sink my teeth into Joe's food. Well that day is here and I'm salivating at the thought. "I'll take one of everything my man!" Secondly, understand I've never written anything like this... I'm actually down on the whole review culture. So if this sounds at all "over the top"... or written by a cousin who Joe owes money to, get that thought right out of your head. All of I said is sincere and one from the heart. And lastly an additional "oh yea baby" to Joe's taste in music.

This is not your ordinary New York bodega, this is the shop of General Ock, who sells various sandwiches in his renowned Ocky Way. So what is the Ocky Way? The Ocky Way is not just a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and onions, it is also about presentation and style.
