Breaks down the monthly leasing cost with a proposal from his sales manager that contains $7500 leasing rebate per manufacturer. Soooo.... It looks like I should have read the reviews before going in to the dealership! I won't write a super long review so that people might really read it! I saw a great deal online for a new Kia Rio S at about $13K. I'm thinking, wow, what a great deal! After title, tax and "fees", I'm guessing that the out the door price would be around $15.5... The salesperson, who was not a jerk, came back with just over $18K!!!! When I questioned him on the price he came up with a list of "dealer installed items"! These included stuff like diamond coat and tinting etc.. These fees were not rolled into the price online!!! The salesperson said that there was a disclaimer for this online and that it was "common practice". Of course, it's listed after the expected and standard title/tax/fees! The shame of it was that I had all cash to buy right then. If they rolled in the "dealer installed items" in the beginning it still would have been a decent deal. However, I would trust them as far as I could throw them! I'm pretty sure they would have added something else in the end. I said that I guess I must walk away because he did not want to remove any dealer add-ons that I asked for to be removed Over $1500 in stuff I did not want to buy. They had emailed me a quote. It was printed and on the table. When I got up to walk away. Sales manager tore the paper out of my hand and shouted You can't take that!​ I said as I was walking away that I have a copy in my email. I don't really need it. I could print more. He said I'm not treating them fairly. I had three safety recalls on my Kia. I called the number I found on Google. It had a selection menu, so I selected Service. It rang and rang, nobody answered then it hung up on me. I called back and selected "speak with a representative." It rang and rang and then it hung up on me. I tried every option and every time it rang and rang and hung up on me. I went to their website and spoke with their CS bot. It gave me a different number to try. To my absolute shock and awe, it rang and rang and then hung up on me. Believe all the bad reviews and never do business with Horne Kia. First experience was horrible, the sales lady insulted my wife and offered us $500 for our trade worth over $4000 , she did this after pointing out that Horne Kia won't low ball you on your trade. Such a joke that we didn't waste anymore time we walked right out. A few months later I convinced my wife it was just a bad sales rep and gave them another chance. We liked the Sportage and we had a deal done through the internet at an agreed price and payment pending evaluation of the trade to avoid the same experience. We had other options to sell our trade lined up if we met the same low ball offer. The website deal said to come by to finalize..to our surprise they gave us a fair offer on the trade. They were nice to us this go around but while being nice they lied and redid the deal and jacked up the price to above MSRP while making it seemed as though the monthly payment that was higher was due to a lower credit score. (BAIT AND SWITCH) I consigned to being on the lease to help get the payment down and then they rushed us into the finance to have us sign quickly. Shame on us for not looking closer at the numbers as we were tired at that point from having to haggle on payments after it was supposedly done. It was a lease so we thought we we re stuck , but they did a spot finance and in their haste they screwed up their paperwork and Kia Finance wouldn't finance. They wanted us to resigned a month later and we refused and explained how they had lied to us. I heard every excuse on yelp from them in person. First excuse "The website was wrong with the price" , "oh that's the price if you were paying cash" I pointed out it is their website, and I pulled up the deal still saved on their site and it says lease right in print with all the numbers worked up the way it should have been.. they added thousands of dollars of useless dealer adds and said all dealers do it and can't be removed even though the paperwork said you don't need these extras in clear print above it on the palerwork! I pointed out all dealers don't do this as I did a lease buyout from Mark Kia a year ago without dealer adds. Not only that the selling price of the car before the dealer adds was over the MSRP of the car!! They increased the value of my wife's trade to get numbers to where we would sign so they could sell the car at a higher price on their books. The internet manager got up and left frustrated we didn't just accept her blatant lies and stated we were hostile and she didn't have to take that abuse. There was no hostility , just calling her out on her BS and lying. We unwound the deal because we refused to sign, it took forever to get our trade back. Meanwhile my wife was without a car for a few days, and when we did get the trade back they said it was OK to drive without plates!! Who tells someone that? We asked about title they said they didn't do anything with it and was still in my wife's name (Another lie) They said we should get our down payment in about a week (Another lie) as a week and a half later they said my wife could of just got the refund while she was there the first time! So she had to make another trip to that hell hole. We then went bought another car down the street, traded car in. Night and day difference from the Horne Kia experience. We get a call from the new car dealer stating the trade is in Horne Kias name!! Ofcourse it is why would they tell us the truth? Then Horne Kia says my wife needs to drive the car down to the DMV to get her trade emissions tested before they will sign the trade over to the new dealer as it is some law once they retitled the car!! I told him that I was told when I bought the car that they were tinting all windows. Dave told me to give him the keys and he was going to have his tint guy tint all the windows. well when I got the car back after 1 1/2 hrs later they had only tinted the two front ones. Short man Dave comes out of show room just to tell me there might have been a miscommunication from the tint guy about having all windows tinted. He assured me that I would get all of them tinted and he was going to call me back later that night to setup an appointment to have my car windows all tinted and he even offered to fill up my gas tank. well short man Dave never called me and I try calling him back three times only to be told he will call me back. Today we had an appointment to have our new car window tinted. Long story short, it took 4 hours later to have our car back. Not only that, it was badly done in the back window. My step daughter had her Kia Forte serviced while we were in town. The service manager by the name of Jerry. He wasn't professional at all. He had mentioned that they didn't allow walk ins for maintenance. Her service writer was Marco. Marco was very knowledgeable, professional and had excellent customer service. While she was waiting in the customer lounging area. She overheard two sales men commenting quietly but not too quietly about some women and how she looked. That she was very s**y and so on and so forth. The two salesman, one Hispanic with glasses and he was bald and the other guy was a tall African American. This review is for the sales department. I really wanted to like them, but there were a lot of shady things that happened during the purchase of my car that almost made me walk out of the finance office. I think it's fair to say I was flat out lied to about more than one thing. So, if you're talking with them and it feels like you're not getting the truth, go with your gut and leave. You're probably being lied to as well. There were several things I asked about repeatedly, but when I finally showed up to make the deal, their answers flipped completely. Probably the biggest issue was in regards to the windshield of the car. During the test drive, while I was looking over the car, and in subsequent conversations, I repeatedly asked about a chip in the front windshield, and if it could easily be repaired. I kept asking because I'm not an expert, but I know windshields on newer cars can be very expensive to replace. They repeatedly assured me, yes, it's no big deal, we see those all the time, easily less than $100 to fix. In the finance office, towards the close of the deal, I asked them again, for the 4th or 5th time, if they were certain a small chip in the windshield could be fixed. They again assured me, it's no big deal, it's an easy fix, etc. The conversation actually lasted about 5-10 minutes, and they brought in the sales manager, and he talked to me and assured me it was no big deal. Well, fast forward to a couple of days later. I make the drive home and get a chance to call a window repair guy to have the chip filled. He comes out the next day, and no joke, from like 10 feet away from the car is like "Ahhh Fudge!!!" He's like, sorry man, I can't fix this. I'm like, what do you mean, on the phone you said you could fix a small chip easily. He's like, yeah, this isn't a chip, it's a crack that's been repaired - poorly, that window will cost you like $2,000 because of the sensors in the car, plus the tint, etc. He then asked, did you buy the car from a dealership? I said yes. He's like, man, that pisses me off, they do this all the time, they flat out lie to customers and tell them the windshields are fine when they actually need to be replaced. It took that guy 10 seconds to realize it wasn't a chip. As I thought back to the conversations I had with the dealership, especially the one in the finance office about the windshield, it was clear they lied right to my face repeatedly. I was a repeat customer of Horne Kia over the last 15yrs or so but will never go back. October I decided to purchase a new K5 & that experience was horrible. I kept telling them I did t want the extended warranty which was almost 4K but they kept insisting they could not sell vehicles without it and kept saying they would give more for my trade which they didn't. Finance guy said my rate was 7.75 which was bad enough and gave a usb instead of paperwork which is ridiculous. When I finally was able to view the information it shows I am at 10% which I did NOT agree to. In addition the car did not have tint and I wanted to tint myself yet they STILL charged $899 saying that's just how it goes. Such bs Despite that I did appreciate the salesman but I eve the manager stepped in it was all downhill. Fast forward to earlier this month I took my daughter down there to look at a specific used vehicle and verified they still had it yet after taking time off work and going down they didn't have the car & said they lent it out. With? Tried to push a new car on my daughter who already said she couldn't do that high of a payment but again it was some little manager guy being pushy so we left. This week we found another one ther that I sent to the sales guy to verify it was there and we worked around HIS schedule to go down and guess what?! The car wasn't there and no one could find it so they tried to push another new car at her. A 23k car with an over $600 payment. Umm no! Again the little mgr guy. We never have done business with Horn Kia. We leased a Kia in 2009 for our daughters. Turned the car into Horn Kia the nearest dealership in 2011. Since then I have gotten phone calls and a ton of solication from Mark and Horn. Each time I call and ask to be removed. After market warranty companies call me for the Kia and send mailers marked urgent. Each time I call Josh Bauman the manager on the mailers. Now Mr Bauman never comes to the phone. This has been going on for 11 yrs. I have been told they got my information from AZ DMV, but if that were true they would see I no longer own the car. I was told once that they pull up on their DMV system that they pull up ANYONE who has ever owned a Kia for solicitation. The problem will all of this...I am on the Do Not Call list, you can only contact a customer for 18 mos according to the FTC regulations after doing business with them. So...we are just a little past the 18 mos..right. I was told by one after market company, which all the offers come for the KIA that the dealership sold our information to them. I got am email response with out ANY contact information like name, email or phone number. I requested additional information to complete the purchase. over two hours went by and no response. On Thursday, March 27th, I made a deal with Horne Kia to buy a new Sportage, I signed an agreement and shook hands with both the salesman, Ron Hernandez and a sales manager. I told them that I needed to get back home and transfer money to my checking account and that I would call them later that day to confirm the money was being moved. I called Ron, told him we were set and then we made an appointment to meet with the finance department on Saturday at 3pm to write the check, trade my car and take possession of the 2023 Kia Sportage. When I showed up today, Saturday, April 1st, on time, Ron the salesman walked up to me and said that they sold the vehicle and made some lame excuse about me not getting in earlier to meet with the finance officer. He never let me know prior to today that there was a problem or called to tell me that the vehicle had been sold, after he told me they would put a sold sign on the car. This is why car dealers get a bad reputation. I would suggest that you be very careful when dealing with this questionable dealership. They have no loyalty except to the all might dollar. Now after seeing other reviews, I realize that I just dodged a bullet. I can't imagine having to work with this business for warranty work during the 3 year free warranty period. Wow! I will be filing a complaint with the state attorney generals office as well. Absolutely fraudulent in their interactions with the public. They have fine print that cost doesn't include dealer added extras. However the extras are not even added until the purchase. See attached photos. Clearly these so called dealer extras were not already installed. They tried to get me to purchase a $899 Ceramic paint protectant on a used car that had clear damage to it. I mean really??? I brought my 2011 Kia in on December 19, 2022 due to an error code notification. The service department said I had a bad coil pack and charged me $190 for a diagnostic check. I told them I'd take care of the repair myself and went back to get my car the next day, a Saturday. I was told the service department would be closed, but someone would be available to release my car to me. When I arrived (I live 45 minutes away) to get my car back, no one could locate my car keys! After searching for about 20 minutes, I was told I'd have to come back during the business hours M-F. When I did return the following week, the service manager had the keys available and apologized profusely, saying he'd "make it right" that I'd had to travel up there now THREE times. The issue was NOT my coil packs - it was a faulty spark plug, which I was able to fix myself at a fraction of what they wanted for the wrong part. I have called at least six times to speak to someone about "making it right" and have never gotten a response from anyone, even when I was assured that my message was left directly in the service manager's desk. I am currently sitting on hold (15 minutes plus) waiting for ANYONE to take my call and no one is picking up. It's my third call to them today, after being promised three days ago that I'd receive a call back yesterday. I only wish I could leave a zero star rating. We spoke with Natasha before driving in and she knew we were their to see that specific car. She failed to let us know before we arrived, tried to sell us into something that we didn't want, insulted our budget and standards. Definition of slimy and rude. We tried to chalk it up to bad luck (although we didn't really buy the line) so we asked to see a Honda Pilot next. They pulled it around and told us they didn't want to sell it to us because it had a whole bunch of mechanical issues while on a test drive. Mind you, this car is currently listed on their site for sale and they won't tell you about it until you get there. They will do anything to get you on the lot and into something you didn't want. As a first time experience he made this so special for me.. he went above and beyond. Throughout the whole process he kept us updated and constantly checked in to make sure we were ok and/or if we needed anything. I've been looking for a new car for over 2 years on and off and I dreaded going to dealerships because most of the time they are pushy and just want to sell a car. Melek was the reason my experience was so special, he didn't push anything and was there every step of the way to make sure I truly loved the car. Purchased vehicle here new and brought for service religiously and kept being told 'nothings wrong' you've done all necessary services. Vehicle finally stalls and has to be towed - complete transmission replacement at another trusted repair facility. Not once were we advised to do a transmission flush - and at over 100k miles that should have been advised. Never would buy or go here again - ever. There is a reason why this company has a "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau!!! I just keep giving this place a chance but they consistently let me down. I scheduled an appointment for a recall on my 2022 Kia Ev6 electric vehicle. I told them the 8k inspection was due but I had already had the tires rotated at Goodyear so I was ok. It's electric so not lime I need an oil change. They go over the work order and there is a charge of $87.00 to inspect the brakes, the cabin filter and the wiper blades. The tire rotation was on there but my service advisor told me they didn't do it...as I asked. On top of that is a misc. Charge of $10.44 for shop materials! If they didn't rotate the tires they couldn't even look at the brakes. What shop materials do you use to look at a cabin filter and the windshield wipers!!!! $97.44 ripoff from a criminal dealer that shouldn't have a dealer license. So over 10 days ago I left messages but Kia manager never responded. Sad service after the sale.

Well things were on track for this dealership to earn 5-stars but just like every other Kia dealership in the valley, things fell by the waist side. I was in the market for a new K5 EX with premium package and Submitted an online inquiry to Horne Kia. I was promptly contacted by JonPaul (JP) and set an appointment with him to look at the vehicle. JP was super professional and super personable and very easy to talk to and work with and I would have definitely bought a vehicle from him if things were different. As I stated I was looking for an EX with premium package with the gravity gray exterior and black interior. While they had gravity gray exteriors, the interiors were either the Ash Blue or the Sand, which is a beige. They did, however, have a silver exterior with black interior that I also liked. I opted for the gravity gray with the ash blue because it looked like a light gray and I liked how they contrasted each other. I test drove both the gravity gray and the silver K5, both of which had issues. The gravity gray had a very loud rattle coming from the back and the alignment was off. The silver K5 also had some rattles and its alignment seemed a bit off too, though it could have been due to the tire pressure. Not sure if 4 psi really makes a difference or not. Honestly though, the car felt kinda cheap and the interior was all plastic. It also had a manual dimming mirror, which, for $30k, should be upgraded to the auto dimming. I decided not to purchase right then and there because of these issues and I was assured that they could have the vehicles looked at or I could test drive another gravity gray K5 EX that also had the ash blue interior. After I left the dealership, JP's communication kind of dwindled and I had to reach out to see what was going on. I was told that the other gravity gray K5 was ready and that I could go down there to take a look. I explained that I could go down there and take a look over the weekend and asked if Saturday afternoon would work and I never heard back. It's now Tuesday and I still haven't heard anything. I opted to go with a different car manufacturer as giving Kia business is extremely difficult. Either there's no follow through or the dealership tries to screw you and is nasty. The buying process for the car I wound up getting was simple, quick, and professional and I got a WAY better car for not that much more money. read more

We have had our 2017 Kia Cadenza serviced at Horne 3 times. Each time we have had to wait over 4 hours to get a simple oil change. Twice we had issues after the oil change (leaking oil after the change in 2021) and when we called to notify them they said they could take a look at for $89.00. We ended up taking it to a local import service provider here in Casa Grande. The first time it was the oil filter which was not put on correctly. They fixed it as a COURTESY to us as we take our other vehicles there. Recently we got some coupons for oil change at Horne for a great price so we made an appt. for 9/21/23. Took our car there, waited over 3 hours and our car has been leaking oil ever since. We were out of the country and when we returned our car was completely out of oil. We filled it up and called Horne Kia to ask them to please take a look at it. Again we were told that it would cost $89 to look at it. I do not and will not recommend this dealership for service. If they can't do a simple oil change and stand behind there work, I would NEVER trust them to do any other type of mechanical work on my vehicle. We will no longer have our Cadenza serviced at this dealership EVER again. We leased and then purchased this vehicle brand new and never ever had any mechanical issues with it until Horne Kia. Think seriously before you let them touch you car. read more

I feel bad giving such a bad review but it's really frustrating when you find a car online set at a certain price and they won't even honor their own MSRP price. Make sure you do your research before you buy from them. They are definitely dishonest and do some shady practices. Details: we found a white Sedona EX for $35,000 online. In their showroom the sticker price showed $41,000. We mentioned the price was different and they said, "oh yea we raised the price." Just so frustrating read more

Horne Kia was my first stop in the hunt for the elusive 2023 Sportage. Unfortunately, they didn't have any on their lot and all the incoming inventory was spoken for already. Our salesman was Ali, and he was nice. He told us "look, I don't have the car you want, and I probably can't get it. If you find it somewhere else, go get it!" Props for honesty! Other staff seemed nice and honestly, even though we couldn't make a deal, I will probably be servicing my new vehicle with them. read more

Worst dealership i have seen in valley. After 20 minutes drive i arrive at the dealership. I ask the sales person what i would like to see and test drive. The sales person asks me if i want to buy the car today and when i told him no he said i can't lose my place in sales and ask me to come back when i intend to buy that day. I couldn't believe what i heard and how rude somebody can be and how they treat customers. I sat in my car and called to talk to a manager. Worst case happened. The internet manager after hearing me out rather than sending another sales rep to assist me while i am sitting in my car and waiting in the dealership all he told me was i will let the general manager know. DO you want to see or buy a car from this PEOPLE who only think about their place in line and commision?? I RECOMMEND GO TO ORHER KIA DEALERSHIPS. read more

Sales person didn't want to give me the hours of door price on car. Once he got my license didn't seem to care about really selling the car. Manager Ray seemed very nice but sales person was unwilling to work with me. Not a place that makes you feel welcome or feel like they want to sell you anything. read more

Had taken my neighbors car in for service Wednesday. The service advisor was Joseph. Great guy by the way. When he was assisting there was another guy right behind Joseph. I overheard his name and I think it was Johnny or Jimmy. Cause he was somewhat helping the other service advisor. Anyways that Johnny or Jimmy guy was using some foul language and I had son with me. What in the right mind does that guy have to use that kind of language. I will for sure let the general manager know and the owners too. read more

I was never going to bother leaving a review for this dealership but the sheer fact that they continuously email me to ask me if there's anything they can do for me compelled me to go ahead and write a review. I called to test drive a car and when I called I said I was ready to do the deal all in one day, I just needed to drive the car. When I arrived I met a salesman that was not the original girl I had spoken to the evening before. He introduced himself to me as the internet sales manager and we proceeded to go for a test drive. When we first got in the vehicle I looked around with a turned up nose thinking somebody must have smoked in here before... Not the case, it was simply the sales person reeking of cigarette smoke. We proceeded to go for the test drive which was no more than a few miles, and I immediately knew something was wrong with this vehicle. You could hear the clunking coming from the suspension, and there was another noise when it accelerated. The salesperson played dumb but said he would immediately have service look at it and fix whatever was wrong with it. They wanted me to wait there. At first I thought, okay they are going to fix it. But the more I thought about it, the more it ticked me off that they would have me come test drive a car they had something so obviously wrong with it. I wasn't going to wait around. Told them to call me when they figured out what was wrong with it. Later on in that day they did call me and tell me that it had a control arm issue and that they replaced it and would I come back for another test drive. I expressed the fact that I was not impressed with the fact that they would have me come and drive a car that obviously had something so wrong with it and that I had reservations about buying from their dealership at all at that point. The salesperson got defensive in a text message, telling me that he had driven the car before and didn't notice anything wrong with it, and wished me luck in my car search. At that point I was moving on in my car search. Later that afternoon, the salesperson messaged me again telling me that they were sorry and he had spoken to his manager and they were willing to take $1,000 off the price of the vehicle. I told him if they could get me out at the price I wanted, I would be willing to come back and talk. He asked me when I could come back and I told him and he said he would make himself available. I returned to the dealership that evening at the time I said I would be there, and the salesperson was not there. Not only was he not there I was also advised that he had no authorization to tell me what he did about the price of the vehicle. I should have known better than to trust somebody who had no problems telling me during the original test drive that he had recently had his own car repossessed due to not paying on a title loan. All in all it was a terrible experience from beginning to end and I would recommend that nobody ever buy a vehicle from Horne Kia.
