Walked away from the deal. Every time they presented numbers they were different. Case in point, floor mats (add-on) on one paper in the car was listed for 200, but was then presented as 250 in the first set of paperwork, then later told as 299, then later as another price. During the negotiation phase they tried to switch numbers around so my cost would actually be a little higher each time. Since I was paying cash, they could not hide the numbers in the financing, so everything was transparent. Nothing was ever right. If you go with them, be sure to check everything each time they present numbers. read more

A DISHONEST DEALERSHIP! OK, now I get it, very low sucky ratings. I went there to buy a USED (2019 Stinger) car on Tuesday 1/25/22 at noon. The price for the car I was given included $899 for paint protection... Paint protection on a used car? OK so anyway $899 for paint protection however, the paint was going south, with clearcoat was already peeling off in two different places, AND NO CATALYTIC CONVERTER! The car was obviously not garaged and the Arizona son had taken its toll, but still, even though the car had horrible pain, they wanted to charge me $899 for paint protection or a used car with bad paint... What the hell? I BLAME THE SALES MANAGER, He made the price and he worked this crap into the deal. If your paint protection was so good, worth $900, why don't you contact the company that makes the product and make them pay for the paint job since their product obviously as crap? (BTW, I've sold cars in the past and I know for sure that Paint protection from dealerships is a joke, it's nothing more than common wax and it does not do what they claim, obviously, these pictures of proof) DON'T BUY YOUR CAR HERE, crooked there are other places that won't treat you this way Anyway, I purchased a car that day and it ended up being a better car so in spite of them trying to cheat me I came out on top! And JOSH, I did call and I left a message (my name, number, and what the call was about) the day after you posted your reply to my comment BUT you never called me back https://www.hornekia.com/used-Gilbert-2019-Kia-Stinger-GT2-KNAE55LC1K6056553 read more

We just purchased a Kia Carnival yesterday and had the BEST experience with Barbara Bloss. Buying a car seemed so intimidating, but she made the process so wonderful and was so knowledgeable. We felt very confident in our decision after speaking with her and getting our questions answered. She's so kind and it honestly felt like working with a friend, even though we had just met! In the middle of the process, I needed to get home to our kids before everything was completed and she truly went above and beyond to accommodate us and our family. We couldn't be more grateful and would recommend working with Barbara to anyone! Thank you Barbara and Kia Horne! read more

This dealership is horrible, worst experience at a dealership I've ever had. I started with trying to get information and a quote through email. I saw from their online inventory they had two cars that were the model and color I was looking for. I also filled out an online form to get an additional $500 for my trade in when I buy a new car. I instantly received a phone call from Al (I let it go to voicemail) and an email from Rachel. I wasn't ready to talk to anyone over the phone so I responded back to Rachel via email. I asked several times for an out-the-door price on the vehicle I was looking at and finally received something. The quote included $2395 worth of dealer add ons, wow they must have added gold wheels. I asked for a price break down of those adds and I finally received the copy of a flyer showing what was included. Wanting to understand what each items were I responded with a list of questions. That's when I received an email from Al, the Internet Sales Manager, trying to get me into the dealership and an email from Rachel asking if I'd had a chance to look at the quote. Yes, I'd looked at the quote and responded with questions, where are my answers? I finally did receive some very cryptic answers from Rachel. For Al and Rachel being on the Internet Sales Team they sure had terrible email communication skills. Rachel also sent me a list of their inventory and it still showed the two cars I was interested in. We finally decided to drive down to the dealership for a test drive and an actual physical inspection of the vehicle. This dealership was quite a ways from our house and it's been 110+ outside so I was hoping to get a lot of the negotiations done online, but that was way too frustrating. We got to the dealership where parking was limited. We were eagerly greeted at the door by a salesman and I asked for Rachel (that was a mistake). Rachel came out to greet us (I use that term loosely), she had no personality and acted like she couldn't care less whether we were there or not. There was a car in the showroom floor, not the exact model we were looking for but one of the higher end models. I tried the doors and the car was locked. I mentioned this to Rachel and she said probably someone accidentally locked it, then she just stood there. I asked if she could unlock it so we could look inside....dah! She went and got the controller pointed it at the car from a distance, it beeped, and then she walked away. She never told us it was unlocked or attempted to show us the car. Finally Joshua, who I believe was the General Manager, came up to see what we were looking for. He had no idea what inventory he had because of a recent data breach, so he had to physically go out on the lot to scope it out. As it turned out the two cars that were the model and color we were looking for they no longer had....that would have been nice to know before making the trek down there. Then amazingly there was no attempt on Joshua's part to try to find that vehicle at a different dealership for us, he never even offered us his card. How they sell cars, I don't know. We left immediately and decided to try Courtesy Kia which is actually closer to our house. They were awesome, everything Horne was not. We ended up driving home in a new car that was the model we wanted but a different color. read more

**I would NOT RECOMMEND HORNE KIA!** Went to buy my daughter a Kia Soul, last Friday. The vehicle was listed a little over 18000. Meet with the Internet Sales guy and told him we will be trading in a 2016 Ford focus and possibly putting 3000 down. We told him what we wanted our monthly payments to be. He said sure that would get us to the payment. He went back ran numbers and brought back Al Burton, the Internet Director who stated we needed an additional 2000 down as the price listed on the window of the vehicle did not include Kia factory upgrades totaling about 2500. So with taxes, documents fees, delivery fees, and upgrades, the price of the car would be a little over 24000. Putting us well over my daughter's monthly payment budget. It should be noted this would have been the 4th vehicle my family would've bought in the last two years from Horne Kia. Al was unwilling to work with us, so we left. My wife found the same car at Tempe Kia for the same price of 18000. We went down to Tempe Kia and bought the vehicle and got the Platinum maintenance service package and still was in my daughter's monthly budget. I would NOT RECOMMEND HORNE KIA! DO NOT BUY HERE!!! read more

My recent experience at Horne Kia has been awful. In July, my 2017 Sportage began having a very stiff brake pedal before starting the car. This has never been an issue in the 5 years I have owned this car. I made an appointment to get it inspected and worked with Crystal. The technicians found a vacuum leak in my brake booster and "thought" that might be the issue but "weren't exactly sure." Crystal informed me that in order to get this repair done under my extended warranty, an inspector from Fidelity would need to look at my car and diagnose the issue. I was told the inspector confirmed the stiff brake pedal was definitely a problem that needed to be repaired. A new brake booster part was ordered but the part arrived damaged. Another brake booster was ordered and installed. By the time my car was ready for pickup, it had been there for 3 WEEKS. After it being there for so long, I expected my car to be fixed. When I picked it up and took it home, I discovered that night that it had the EXACT SAME issue I brought it in for. A stiff brake pedal before starting the car. There is no difference whatsoever. Either the brake booster that was installed was also defective, or the issue was not the brake booster to begin with. I brought it back to Horne Kia the next day and worked with Josh. Josh informed me that since it was a Friday, nobody would inspect it until the following Monday. Josh called me on Monday and said the technicians found nothing wrong and now I am being told a stiff brake pedal before starting is "normal." With no explanation as to why this is suddenly normal when the car has never done this before July in the 5 years I've owned it. I arrived on Monday to pick up my car and I requested to have the technicians who worked on my car to explain to me face-to-face why this would be considered "normal" when the inspector from Fidelity confirmed just a couple of weeks ago that the stiff pedal was NOT normal. They had no answers for me aside from "we inspected everything and can't find anything wrong." I was also told by them that another customer with a Sportage just dropped hers off with the same complaint and they can't figure out what the issue on hers is either. Why would this issue be considered "normal" if another customer suddenly noticed something wrong with the way her Sportage operates? I am left with NO answers, no confidence that my car and brakes are fully functioning, and the same exact problem I brought it in for in July. Nothing has been resolved and the technicians and service advisors are telling me nothing else can be done. I have been a loyal customer of Horne Kia for years. I purchased my car through Horne and have continued to bring it back for regular maintenance and any issues I've had. Customer service at this location has gone way downhill over the past year and this was the last straw for me. I will never bring my car back there again. read more

My first time at Horne Kia to get some manufacturer updates (vendor recall) installed. NOTE: I had purchased my Kia elsewhere, so I was only here to get the recall software installs done. I dropped off my vehicle and had my hubby drive me back home. Job took a couple of hours as they had estimated, and I do like their "real-time" status link they send me once they take in the car for servicing. The service rep even sent a separate text saying the service was complete. I also do like that they did not give me any high-pressure sales to purchase any additional packages. One thing that was suspect was the completed customer satisfaction questionnaire that was included in the back of my service summary....a questionnaire that I never filled out myself. I do not know where this questionnaire actually goes, but I really do not appreciate someone speaking on my behalf without my consent. read more

Don't waste your time! Drove over two hours to buy a car from Horne Kia. The sales men were nice but would not budge on their prices. No negotiating. They wouldn't honor online pricing or past sales prices. Even though it's the end of the year when they might want to get rid of some old inventory they didn't seem like they really wanted to sell any cars that bad or cared about making a sale. Was told they could get us in a car around what we wanted our payment to be only for them to come back with almost double, not even close to what we were comfortable paying. 2 and half hours sitting there for nothing. A complete waste of time. Left disappointed. Don't waste your time. read more

Reply to Horne Kia's Non-Response: Your response completely misses the point. This wasn't about market conditions--it was about a broken agreement, lack of communication and zero accountability after we had a confirmed deal and shared personal information. You ignored multiple phone calls, canceled a scheduled delivery last minute, and then changed the vehicle's price online--raising serious concerns about your business practices. Ironically, your public response was more detailed than the brief, dismissive email I received privately, which only reinforces the lack of genuine customer care. This experience was not just disappointing--it was insulting. Do better! Btw, the car is STILL listed for sale online. read more

Me and my fiancé were in the market for a new car, I initially wanted a Honda Civic but of course with the car market being scarce it was difficult. The Honda dealership looked at us with disdain, as if we didn't belong. It didn't take long for us to feel unwelcome and leave. My fiancé suggested we go to the Kia dealership and I agreed. When we first arrived I suggest we go look at the car lot and to our surprise the Kia dealership was LOADED. WITH CARS. So we got to looking and not a minute later Damian came up and introduce himself and he gave us a grand tour. Long story short, Damian and Tommy from finance made our first car buying purchase an awesome experience! 10/10 we will be back and will recommend Kia to anyone! Go Kia family! read more

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 8:30. I showed up at 8:25 and checked in. I asked how long it would take and he told me two hours. I asked if it would be two hours even with an appointment and he told me "well they are piling up". I sat in the waiting room for two hours with no update. I finally went to track someone down to get a status update (they should actively be letting me know status) and was told that it would be another 20 minutes. I'm assuming they overbooked appointments and under booked staff or they don't have experienced staff Either way this is indicative of poor management and customer service. Sadly, By far the worst service Dept to take a KIA to get serviced. Money hungry place. TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMAN! Horrible service dept. PLEASE DO NOT EVEN TAKE YOUR KIA HERE TO BE SERVICED ! On the 13th of this month I took my car here to get ONLY RECALLS done on my car. DROVE my car there with no problems & had my car towed back home, never a heads up from the dealer, that my car was no longer starting. Car is no longer in a running condition. The service manager, Andre as well as Mike Zaccardo , kept speaking to me like I never had a car in the state of Arizona and they both stressed that it was my battery and I should start there to "save me some money. And as I love how Andre states "if I even have a warranty on my battery" not knowing I purchase top notch batteries on top of that just purchased my battery 2 months ago. I did take my battery back to car quest and have my battery tested and it tested GOOD right away and the tech stated my car should have no troubles starting with this battery in your car. The problem is still a mystery as this Kia service dept won't take my car back to see what they screwed up on , they want to charge me a tow fee and a $200 diagnostic fee to see what's wrong with my car that NO LONGER STARTS UP after I DROVE MY VEHICLE THERE MYSELF RUNNING PERFECTLY FINE. What started as a great experience turned sour pretty quick. We went to Horne yesterday to test drive a Telluride for a lease, the car was great and checked off all the boxes. We left to go test drive a few other companies for due diligence. Came back today and narrowed down which trim level we wanted. We appreciate how patient the sales guy was with us. We found one we wanted that was showing in inventory but the sales guy came back and said the Horne family was using it as a demo and made no attempt to make it available.. We ended up going with a more expensive trim. We were very up front we didn't want to pay any money down. They honored the online price which I was excited about. The excitement ended pretty quick when the deal sheet showed up. They gave us what we wanted from the trade (a little too easily to be honest). What they don't tell you is the over $3k in dealer add ons which just wiped away that internet 'deal'. We told the sales guy we didn't want to pay for all of those add ons. We felt we were being fair and asked for about half the costs of the add-ons. They did let us know the money factor for the lease but not the buy rate, which is understandable. My wife and I have tier 1 credit so we wanted to make sure it was reflective. When the sales guy came back after the first round of negotiation he said they can't waive the add ons but would buy down the rate (didn't disclose how much) then line items on the deal sheet disappeared the accessories charges, the payoff for our trade and somehow the cap adjustment reduction was $1k short of the amount of positive equity we had in our trade. We noticed the deal sheet has a figure in what is typically the money down section but it wasn't labeled. We assumed that was the equity of the car being used as a down payment... we were wrong. Fast forward (we are now at 3 hours of elapsed time) and we finally settled on a lease payment after figuring the OTD price, we started getting things together, they ran our credit and everything we looking good. But something was still not sitting right with the numbers so I asked the sales person again as he was giving us some incorrect info, so he brought his manager in to explain the numbers. After the manager explained the pricing, it finally clicked, THE DEAL WAS MADE WITH A DOWN PAYMENT! We were crystal clear that outside of paying the first payment and the required fees, we didn't want to put a penny down. The sales person said that it wasn't a down payment but our equity. Well of course now we are $3500 off from a deal, they run the numbers again with $0 (which is how they should have been) and magically the missing line items showed back up, the payment jumped over $100/month. What really shocked me was seeing the rental charge being outrageously high! I can almost guarantee they did a crazy mark up on the money factor to pocket even more on the deal. They also were going to pocket the manufacturer incentives as part of 'lowering the price". The manager apologized for the miscommunication but did zero to try to keep a sale from walking out the door. Don't trust the internet prices, don't fall for their 'non-negotiable' add ons, look over every number with a fine tooth comb or they will take advantage of you. After 3.5 hours we walked out shocked, angry, and disappointed. read more

Hidden fees. Won't negotiate over the phone. Sales team is trained to solely get you in the door. They add $1,200 (minimum) to every car price (not disclosed) for clear coat and refuse to remove the fee. They have Kohl's type trigger advertising too (was $20,000 and now $10,000). What a joke this place is. I talked to two sales staff and both said the clear coat (and something else) is added to every car. See, how it's so "clearly" disclosed after taxes and license. This is in VERY fine print at the bottom. read more

Our service advisor, Josh Kirby, took the necessary time to understand the issue with our vehicle and ensured that our concerns were addressed thoroughly and accurately. You will probably enjoy a root canal more than trying to buy a car at this dealership. We are looking for a vehicle for our teen daughter and found a vehicle online at Horne Kia. We called and were unable to get any useful information over the phone, instead just a hard push to schedule an appointment. We showed up at the dealership a few hours later only to be greeted by someone who seemed less than enthused at us being there. When we requested a test drive they told us they had to join. That alone was awkward and really felt unnecessary on a car listed at $5,500. I asked at least half a dozen times for an out the door price before they brought in another sales associate. After a quick rambling about how they are the biggest and best-used car dealer - the guy rattled off a bunch of fees that totaled $9k out the door. I thought I must have misheard, and asked nine-hundred? Nope - it was $9K out the door. The fees were coming so fast, I caught a $1,200 advertising fee, $429 doc fee, and on and on they went. Who spends $1,200 in advertising to sell a $5K car...you guessed it - Horne Kia! Trying to shop at Horne Kia was a waste of our time and honestly insulting. Internet sales department review: Summed up in one word- yikes. Emailed about a vehicle listed online asking for a simple breakdown of taxes, dealer fees, etc. to get a feel for the true cost and to make sure there weren't any "surprise" fees added on by the dealer. A rep reached out and let me know they couldn't send any numbers to me, but asked when I could come in for a test drive. Told them I'd like to see numbers before coming in and was told that couldn't happen. Uh... what's the point of an internet department if you won't try to sell a car using the internet. (Reaches out to another dealer about a similar vehicle and had a price sheet sent over the same day, so it is possible and not asking too much.) Shortly after, GM emailed asking if he could be of any service/checking on our interest. Emailed him back letting him know how things went and never heard back. Internet Sales Manager Ruben emailed to check in/see if we were still shopping, so I reached out with my feedback. He emailed me back saying "as you know we are here to sell cars for a small profit. If we sell them for less that what we own them , we would go out of business fast. Fees like taxes and plates, registration etc are NOT dealer profit. Have you considered private sale? They don't have to inspect the car or make sure it passes all safety measures or guarantee you a great reliable car." huh? Way to go Horne Kia, you managed to lose a potential customer and show exactly how not to run an internet sales department all at once. In a nutshell, way too many red flags for me, especially with all the other good dealerships out there. Update: what do you know, a short time after posting my review, a price sheet gets emailed to me. Now I know why they don't want to send them- $900 paint protection fee? LOL $300 VTR fee? (VIN number etched into windshield) Another joke fee. $700 Window tint fee? This just gets better.... almost $2k in junk fees! My opinion hasn't changed- AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! read more

The most morally bankrupt company I've ever had the misfortune of trying to deal with. We were interested in a 2023 Kia Sorento PHEV , w/ the absurd " options " every dealership makes mandatory ( not really optional then , are they ? ) it stickered for right at 54K . ON THEIR OWN website they had a tenative deal of $ 835 / mo. for 72 months @ 4.99% APR , again , ON THEIR WEBSITE . The salesperson comes back with a very generous offer of $958 for 84 months at 8.99% !!! LMAO , I guess they think everyone who walks through their doors are mindless idiots . The kicker is the finance manager came out all upset because I wouldn't shake his hand after the way I'd been insulted. His very professional response was " It's basic math , I don't have to sell you a car " . To which I replied " yes it is , from YOUR website. Like I'd EVER buy a pack of gum from them . I can't believe they have the arrogance to think people would pay 80K for a 50K vehicle. OTOH , sadly, they must or the morally challanged , that are Horne Kia, wouldn't continue to try it. I came to Horne Kia with my wife and newborn to purchase a new Kia Telluride. While at the dealership, I was going over features on the vehicle and mentioned to my sales representative, Marco Cruz that we needed a tow-hitch on the Telluride and asked if it would be included. Marco Cruz let us know that it was included and that we would just need to schedule a time with Marco to get it installed. This was September 2nd 2022. Marco Cruz then assured me that he and the Sales Manager: Austen Moore had placed the order for the part and it was going to come in. I then offered to leave a good review once the tow hitch install was completed, Marco then sent me a "Cheat-Sheet" on how to answer the Kia survey - I still have the text message as well.  I reached out to Marco Cruz, every several days over the course of 4-6 weeks over text message regarding getting this tow hitch installed and the current status. Around week 4-5 I was told that the tow hitch harness was now under recall and was no longer being installed until the recall ended.  I brought my Kia in for service today (week 6) and was told that not only is the harness under recall, but the sales department had no record of them covering the installation of a tow hitch.  I showed them the proof in writing I had after discussing this with Marco Cruz, who stated Austen Moore (Sales Manager) had ordered the part. They told me that the sales department wouldn't pay for anything out of pocket even after agreeing the text messages were legitimate.  However, they tried to make things right by offering that Marco Cruz pay for us to install a tow-hitch but not the $1200 quoted Kia tow hitch, but a tow hitch installed from U-Haul and that was the best they could offer. - I have this in text message as well from the repair representative I have screenshots of all of this as well and even showed it to them. I will never do business with Kia again. I will attempt to leave this review everywhere I can to spread awareness as well as contact corporate for any additional support. It's highly unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend working with the Horne Kia dealership, Austen Moore, or Marco Cruz after our experience. They'll tell you what you want to hear in an attempt to get as much time as possible until their Kia survey runs out. I will be communicating this with corporate as well as sending these photos to them as well.  They lost a customer for life and created an unhappy client. Be very careful here, get EVERYTHING in writing before walking out of the dealerships, even if they're included. Giving 2 stars because the sales associates were nice, but at the end of the day I simply didn't like how I was treated at this dealership. I have been in the market for a car for a little while, and after looking at a few different makes/models, I found the Kia K5 and instantly fell in love. Horne Kia was the closest dealership to me, and I sent over my information to their internet sales, in order to get more information on the car. At the time (about 2 weeks ago) they didn't have a K5 on the lot to test drive, as it had just come in off the truck and needed to go through pre-inspection. I completely understand and appreciate that, but when I asked when that specific car would be ready to see/test drive, I was told it would probably be "pre-sold" by then. I never heard back on the status for that car, so I decided to just go in person to see the selection. On the lot were 2 K5s, but just the base models, not the LXS with the upgraded features that I wanted. I test drove it and was told to come back on Wednesday/Thursday to see if any of the upgraded models come in. I had Wednesday off so I decided to come back to the dealership, fully ready to buy the car. Prior to coming back, I went to CarMax to get a quote on my current car, which I am leasing through Toyota. I brought the car into Horne to see how the numbers would be with it as a trade in, and honestly I was VERY offended with what they came back with! CarMax offered me almost $25,000 while Horne said it was barely worth $16,000, only $1000 more than what I owe, since it was a lease. This was a huge red flag to me, but thought I would just sell it to CarMax, pay off what I owe and be left with a little over $9,000 for a down payment. We continue to run the numbers and do a credit check, factoring in $9000 down and a very high credit score. The first payment they come back with is at an almost 6% interest rate over the course of 84 months, which they considered to be good and competitive! I had to remind them of my high credit, and suddenly the interest rate lowered to 3.75%. When looking at the numbers, I noticed what started off as a $26,310 (MSRP) car, was now being charged at $33,000. I of course know and expected a few thousand more added one for license, registration, tax etc, but what absolutely blindsided me was an extra $3000 for dealer added upgrades, of which were mandatory for all vehicle purchases from Horne Kia. This included items that I didn't even want or need- tinted windows, a cargo net (for a whopping $150) and some specialized paint sealer just to name a few. Even with a pretty sizable down payment, this car was still out of my budget because of these unexpected, undiscussed fees. It's funny because numerous times, we were told that they were the only Kia dealership that sells cars for MSRP, but that's simply not true when at the end of the day, a mandatory $3000 fee is added to every vehicle on the lot for upgrades that not everyone wants. These upgrades are something that should be optional, not forced onto customers. If it wasn't for that, I would have driven away in a new car from their dealership. All is not lost though, as I went to a Kia dealer in Mesa, who offered me $25,000 for my trade in, and was able to get me in the Kia K5 GT (a higher model than the LXS I looked at, at Horne) for LESS money than Horne was charging per month. Funny enough, the dealership I bought from was talked so badly about by every single employee we talked to at Horne... maybe a scare tactic to earn more business? read more

This is the worst dealership i ever dealt with. We bought our new Telluride in March of last year. A couple of months later a trim under the passenger side window came loose. Its been over 9 months and many unanswered calls and still nothing has been done. I had to call their corporate office to see if they could help. Horne sales manager won't answer their calls. My advice to anyone wanted a Kia is to go a few more mile further and get a dealership who cares. Avoid Horne Kia at all costs. I'd give them zero stars if i could read more

Impossible to do a deal with this dealership. I had verified inventory and price before driving all the way to Gilbert from Midtown PHX to buy a car. As soon as they sit you down and show you what your payment is gonna be, you get "Bent Over"! They add $5,000. worth of dealer add ons that are smoke & mirrors and aren't willing to negotiate on them. Why does a new car need paint protection for $899, when it has a factory paint job? An additional $299. for dent/ding? Forced to pay $699. for window tinting? I'll take my car elsewhere if I want my windows tinted. The mysterious VTR (Vehicle Theft Registration) for $299. And floor mats for $199. (These are shipped with the car and should be included in the price If they're gonna charge me extra, they can keep them. I buy aftermarket all weather mats for my cars anyways). Another $599. In processing & documentation fee and a whopping $2,000. for Market Adjustment. All this in addition to the selling price of the car, license & tax. I gave them two opportunities on two different cars to make a deal. Even with $10,000 down and a qualified buyer with excellent credit, they were not willing to budge on any of the dealer add on fees, which most should be optional. In addition they are rude & condescending. They treat their customers as if they have no financial sense and what they are offering should make sense. I was able to buy and secure a fair deal with another dealership on the same car elsewhere. Don't waste your time with Horne Kia of Gilbert, AZ. read more

Absolutely the WORST car buying experience I have ever had in 20+ years! Completely unethical!! Found the vehicle online, internet price was $4500 less than the sticker price, spoke with Silus, who CONFIRMED the price. Explained I would need to bring my daughter in with me, need to ensure this is the CORRECT price on the vehicle. Filled out credit app online, called to confirm rcpt and score. Took an Uber to the dealer with my daughter to complete sale and bring the new vehicle home. This is where EVERYTHING went wrong. Battery DOA, easy replacement... Waited while they changed it, finally went on a test drive. Get back to dealership and sit and wait 45 min before Silus brought back my credit application which was not even accurate. Remember I checked on this before coming in. Wait another 30min before he comes back with the first batch of numbers... This is where the real games begin!! Complete SCAM!! First came back with a price $10,000 MORE than what the web price was, and this was AFTER my $5,000 down!! Needless to say an hour later, things never got better!! Buyer beware, they added $2700 in dealer addition fees (floor mats, window tint and oil changes) then added $4100 in extended warranties that we NEVER discussed!! Plus, $1900 in GAP insurance. So, they managed to ADD $10,000 in additional fee's without even discussing this. PLUS with my 786 credit score offered me 7% financing on a brand new vehicle!! I can buy a used vehicle at 6%. All I am saying is BE CAREFUL! The creepy manager that comes at the end to 'close' the deal, is really cringy! They truly are running top notch scams out of this dealer! We have bought Tesla's, Hyundai's, Subaru's and NEVER had an experience like this! I would not recommend this dealer to my worst enemy! read more

Stop!! Not legit!! Terrible Experience - Avoid Horne Kia at All Costs! If I could give 0 stars I would. We had a horrible experience with Horne Kia. At nine months pregnant and ready to have our baby any day, We were so excited to find a car online that seemed perfect for our growing family. I called to confirm the car was available, and they assured me it was. Despite being very pregnant, and not feeling very good I got up and tried to dress comfortably in leggings and a comfy halter maternity top, it took everything to try to get up and go even though I still didn't feel good enough to go. My hubby encouraged me saying it was for the family because we both needed to sign the new car documents. So off we went I rushing to the dealership because we wanted a safe, reliable car to bring our baby home from the hospital. When we arrived, they claimed the car had "just been sold" and immediately tried to push us toward a much more expensive model. We were devastated and frustrated. Afterward, I looked up their reviews online and discovered we were not the only ones who had experienced this bait-and-switch tactic. To make matters worse, they insisted on running our credit--despite the fact we were already being pre-approved for financing--and the hard inquiry caused both of our credit scores to drop by 10 points. All for a car they never had in stock in the first place. This dealership's behavior is unethical and unacceptable. It's shocking that a business like this continues to operate despite so many similar complaints. If you're considering Horne Kia, please don't waste your time. Save yourself the stress--and take your business elsewhere! read more

After my last service appointment I will never go to Kia Horne dealership again. This experience has turned me off of Kia and I can't see myself ever buying another vehicle from this brand. Long story short I have a 2016 Kia Soul with less than 50000 miles. After regular maintenance they said I had about 700$ of work to do. They said I needed new filters, change and flush of all the fluids in the car, ect ( I had done all of these things on a previous visit- bill was over 1000$ and now I wonder if I really needed to have the work done at all.) When I questioned what took precedence my service consultant pulled up my file and by the look on his face I knew something was wrong. He confirmed that I didn't need many items on the list / I had done everything on a previous visit and my bill went for over 700$ to 130$. I won't name the agent bc I don't want him to get in trouble for being honest but he basically confirmed if I had accepted the maintenance request they would have charged me anyway. He said "they must have not looked at your file". I spoke to the service manager Ira and he said he would talk to the mechanic- that he must be new. BS-they tried to fleece me for work I didn't need- they probably fleeced me before when I had all the work done. I trusted Kia to be honest and to treat me as a valued customer and I just feel violated. How many others have the done this too. Thank God the service agent was honest. read more

This is our second experience with Horne Kia and some of the recent reviews I just don't understand. Our experience with Ron was great, started by walking the lot, understanding what we'd like to see. Found 2 cars to compare before test drive, and ran the numbers before getting hopes up. Got a good value from our trade, got where we expected to be payment wise, and the process was pretty expedient for start time (early evening). Thanks the Chris for the quick financials and offer to rework next day with preferred lender. Overall happy with our previous new experience, and now add on a lightly used experience.
