HUNTER & NICOLE did an excellent job with the oil change, tire pressure check, air filter replacement, etc. This is my second time coming here after being recommended by my mom. They showed more great customer service this time, as well as the last. Hunter & Nicole were very thorough and know exactly what they are doing. Their communication is top tier and they know what to recommend to get serviced next, without pressuring you. I will definitely be back for more service again, especially since Hunter saved me from having a bad battery. So I got it checked at the dealership, and they gave me a new battery under warranty. The wait time was very long. The website says 15-20 min but I realize that timeframe is if there's no one ahead of you. I went on a Saturday so they were busy, which makes sense...but the total amount of time spent was around an hour. The team seemed to be pretty efficient, however and I appreciated that. During the oil change I was handed a reminder sticker stating that I needed another oil change after only 3,000 miles. That is so obsolete...very few cars running full synthetic oil need oil changes this frequently. When I questioned it the tech told me he wasn't an expert in that field, which is concerning. How are you performing oil changes but aren't an expert? At the end of the oil change I was asked if I knew how to reset the oil change reminder in my car. Since BMW conducted the first 3 oil changes for me and this is the first one on my own, I said no. I was told someone would meet me on the side of the building to help me but no one ever came. I wound up figuring it out and drove off. They honored my $25 off coupon though, which was nice. read more

I had an oil change done, found huge oil leaks on driveway, went back next day, they said everything looked good. Still had oil leaks. Went to CHOICE AUTO that Monday. Found part holding oil filter cracked off. Put in part. Valvoline wants to give me a free oil change!! Hunter, the Mgr. RUDE, ANGRY and basically called me a liar due to me not contacting them right away cuz I was helping frnd with triple bypass surgery. He offered to pay for part but refuses to admit anything. Excellent, professional and efficient service. I usually go to the Val Vista/Pecos location but wanted to give this new location a shot. Came on a Friday afternoon and waited about 15 minutes. Staff was kind throughout the process and informed me my windshield wipers needed replacing and were able to it then and there for $30 extra. You can always find Groupon deals or coupons and staff will honor them happily with a smile. For the convenience of waiting in your car, quality of oil and service I find the prices to be quite reasonable. Highly reccomend. read more

I had the oil changed at Valvoline in Mesa. The picture below is what my driveway looked like after starting my car the next day. When I checked the dipstick it was down 2-3 quarts. I had the oil changed on Wednesday, I stopped by the Valvoline shop Thursday morning after having to drive my wife to work because of the oil leak. I spoke to the only person that was there. He initially said someone reached out to out to me later that afternoon. I told him that was unacceptable. I wanted a call by 10:00 AM. He did call me and come to my house to change the filter and add the oil that had leaked out as well as make an attempt to clean the oil. I was told someone would reach out to me to schedule the cleaning of my driveway. No calls. I finally had an area manager leave me a text message. I called Austin and wanted to know when this would happen. He said he would schedule the cleaning. Again no follow up call. I called Valvoline corporate yesterday and they asssured me the store manager would call me to give me an update. Again, no call or follow up. In my conversation with Austin he said this was an accident. Definitely not an accident, totally poor workmanship. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Genuinely hate this place so much and will never come back or recommend to anyone. Whatever girl they have answer the phone has the most stank attitude ever and for months i've been trying to get a silly little bolt/screw replaced to secure my battery down. My mom had originally gone here in the past to get her battery replaced, since then she has sold me the car and the battery has needed another replacement so we go back to the same location to see if it's under warranty and after a lot of pain in the ass run around because ownership of the car had changed And they couldn't tell me anything from her account about my car for privacy reasons, which is fine. We eventually got sent over to the Higley location to get it replaced under warranty because they were the only place that had the battery we needed in stock. So I go to Higley I get the battery replaced. They tell me that one of the screws that holds the battery down is stripped And none of the locations have it in stock so they contacted the baseline location to order it and told me that baseline would call me when they have the piece ready and that I could just drive over there and they'd screw it in real quick and that would be that. Weeks pass, No phone call. So I call that baseline location and they're basically like dawg we do not know what you're talking about, you don't even have an account with us. But the guys on Higley had made me an account when I was there which is very weird. So the people on baseline escalate me to their over the phone customer service guy not based at any of those locations, where that guy then tells me no account was made and basically just didn't know what I was talking about so I walked him through the entire thing he created like a special order number for that piece and in the end I was told yet again that I would get a phone call when it's ready and I never got a phone call. I don't know if the guys at the Higley location were to blame. I don't know if the guys at the baseline location were to blame, I don't know if the customer service guy I spoke to is to blame. Either way he seemed very ready to come to all of his employees defenses when I mentioned I'm not sure whose fault this was or why this got so confusing and miss handled, but nonetheless, it is several weeks later and I never got a call. I will be going to another shop to get the goofy little screw, and I will never be touching a Valvolone ever again in my life. They gave me such a big Runaround. They were not polite at all and I am insanely baffled by how many good reviews they have. 0/10 read more

Katelyn was my oil change girl and she was super nice and helpful! She explained what was needed and wasn't pushy on other services I needed besides oil change and windshield wipers. She also printed some stuff out for me so I can have it for the future of what's due to be done with certain mileage. The car next to me had a dead rat in the grill that they pulled out and me and all the employees were all talking about it and laughing. Ever since my 1st visit to this location, I've been coming here more frequently. The service they provide is amazing. Upon pulling in, you're directed to drive into the car bay and put your car in park. They will ask you what service you need and they will get on it swiftly. I needed an oil change and I stayed inside my car the whole entire time. They did a complimentary tire check and filled up the air, did a brake light check, also a headlight check. This was all done for free. They discovered my passenger tail light was out so I had them replace that for a reasonable cost. Overall, they did an amazing job. Give them your email and you'll receive discounted coupon offers which I also used as well. These guys know what they're doing both mechanically and customer service wise. Sorry there's no pics, I was seated inside my car the whole time and I was out in about 15 minutes. These guys are the pros you've been looking for, give them a try. They suck up your oil out instead of draining - Audi a4- I came here for a routine oil change. Less than a week later, my car's oil indicator came on, suggesting it needed more oil. Finding this suspicious, I returned to the oil change place. They claimed I had an oil leak due to a broken gasket and topped off my oil. However, when I took my car to a mechanic, he found no evidence of an oil leak. I sought a second opinion from another mechanic, who also confirmed there was no oil leak. My mechanic then considered other possibilities, such as a faulty oil sensor or another part causing the issue. Despite these checks and repairs it was still marking some thing was wrong , there was no evidence of an oil leak, and nothing appeared to be wrong with the car itself. He then decided to check the oil he drained it I was watching it was literally black, which is impossible after only a week since the oil change. This clearly indicated that the oil change place hadn't properly replaced the oil. Once my mechanic completely changed the oil, replacing it with fresh oil, my car ran perfectly, just as it did before visiting the oil change place. This whole place felt shady and they were extremely defensive the first time around when I took it back. To make matters worse, the assistant manager called with such an attitude Tell me he'll check the car himself that they did nothing wrong. First of all why would I take my car to an oil change place to get it checked out , second I had already fixed my car second third I would never trust them to ever go near my car they probably make a leak. Highly unprofessional for an oil change service. In summary, my experience with this oil change place was horrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they want to spend extra money to have their car properly serviced elsewhere. Zero out of ten. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I went to this location after 7, which is closing time. I spoke with Shawn about the noise coming from my car. He checked my fluids to make sure it didn't need topping off. I was hearing a humming sound coming from somewhere. I asked if he could take a ride with me. He suggested I come back in the morning and ask for Hunter the manager. I went back the next day and a gentleman came out to ask what I needed assistance with. I repeated what I had told Shawn the previous night. He got in my car and took a ride with me. We didn't find out what the issue was BUT just his pure customer service was outstanding! Before I pulled off I asked what his name was and he stated Hunter I'm the manager. read more

I checked out this place while it was still somewhat new. I will most likely be updating my review later on. First of all, it took a while. I waited for 30 to get in and then another 30 to complete the service. It was hot when I did it, so it was somewhat uncomfortable to wait in my truck with it off while it was worked on. The staff seemed new and unsure of the processes. Regardless, it was still quicker than going to a shop. You do pay for the convenience though. It was about $40 more than my normal shop. My normal shop couldn't get me in for over a week though. So, it was worth the trade-off. I am excited to come back and see if they have improved. I went to get my oil changed yesterday for a full synthetic change in my Ford raptor. Everybody was very professional and handled my change quickly. When I returned home I remembered I had a $15 coupon. I returned to the location today and spoke with Hunter the manager to see if he could give me my $15 back. He gave me a customer service number to call who looked up my invoice and then offered a $25 coupon since I did full synthetic they credited over the phone back to my American Express. Fantastic job takign care of the 03 burb. even though the Coolant didnt need to be changed, and they told me that, I felt more comfortable having it changed after I did a Heater coil flush, especially with summer coming. It took them an hour to change our oil with only 1 car in front of us that was almost done when we arrived. Sooo slow! Go anywhere else!

If I could give this place no stars I would. After three years of Loyalty with this company all I got in return was disrespect, the run around, and a seized engine. They state "You see nothing, you hear nothing" in their voice cover trying to set themselves apart from other oil companies yet that is exactly what they will do to you. May 13th I got a full synthetic oil change as I normally do. Not even four weeks later my oil light comes on so I quickly go to my closest location. They state my oil levels were NOT filled properly and I was THREE quarts low of oil. I asked if it was a leak or car issue and they ensured me is wasn't the car it was the service. They topped it off and did not charge me in which is why they put "tire Check" on my invoice & lied about my mileage. Not even TWO weeks after this event occurred my engine seized on the freeway due to my radiator separating causing my engine to over heat. Due to my vehicle running low on fluids this caused internal damage. After reaching out Hunter the manager at Mesa/Baseline he states he supposedly reviewed DVR footage and stated everything was done properly mean while the Cave Creek location stated it wasn't. I got customer care involved and they put my in contact with the Area Manager "Chris" who then told me on my invoices it stated my coolant was leaking when in fact after going over three years of invoices it doesn't state that once and he was unable to provide me with an invoice number in which he supposedly stated that "comment". I then reached BACK out to Hunter to only find out "Chris" is only a tech and not the Area Manager. Hunter then began to speak down to me as if I didn't understand what he was speaking about when it came to my car and the diagnostic I received. I was over the belittling and sexist act so I called customer care yet again to finally speak to Austin whom is the "Real Area Manager". Austin then states my diagnostic shows what happened to my vehicle but not what caused it to happen even though it states it in black and white. He then stated I would need another diagnostic to prove "Valvoline is at fault" yet would not provide the service of having my car towed to their location and do it themselves. This whole experience has been absolutely horrible and after always recommending it I would absolutely NOT ever send anyone here again. This company knows they are at fault but will not take ownership until it's proven their way. DO NOT GO TO VALVOLINE. - "Actively Working on it" is a complete and utter lie. No one has taken ANY action on this case nor responsibility. I call customer service daily on updates and they say what Austin says goes. This place truly has NO morals nor integrity. read more

How are you the manger of a lube shop, if you can't perform all the services you offer. I was mind boggled there was at least 6 guys there and none of them could help me. Came to this location to get an oil change- regular nothing fancy. There were plenty of workers on hand. I'm not sure if they were training or what but I've already been sitting next in line for over 45 minutes and not one car has moved out of any of the lanes. There are at least 2-3 workers per car with an extra 2 floating around. More than half the time with their hands in their pockets talking to their coworkers. Crazy how it's close to the holiday weekend when people already have over booked tight schedules. I thought they used to hold themselves to the standard of 15 minute oil changes? Update: adding a star as they gave me my refund I will start this review by stating that I went back once I knew what happened to my car asking for a refund. Based off it being a few days after the transaction, they said they can only mail me a check for a refund. Better than nothing. If that check doesn't come when they say I'll be sure to add to this review. Good on them for at least doing that. Do not trust the techs here.do not trust this shop. After what happened I will ever go to another valvoline after trusting them for years. They failed to tighten the oil filter during an oil change. I was able to avoid total disaster but just got lucky noticing it when I did. The engine didn't lose all oil from this. However if I was in different circumstances, the results could have been catastrophic. Wonder what they would have done then? Caused oil to leak all over my driveway/ street. Please do not take your vehicle here. The incompetence shown here will cost you. But hey, they gave me a refund and the manager seemed like a decent dude. But that doesn't mean the world shouldn't know about it. Do not take your car here by any circumstances. Owner, manager, whoever has been replying to reviews: do not bother. Took my vehicle here today for an oil change, all 3 bays were occupied with other vehicles. I was told to pull behind the center bay and it would be ten minutes by the manager. After waiting twenty minutes, I was told then, to pull behind another vehicle. At that point I knew it was going to take even longer, so I decided to leave, and the employees didn't seem to be too concerned about my leaving without getting any service. Quick and professional. 2pm on a Thursday. One individual came out to confirm oil change, pre-check lights and signals, and verify tire psi spec while I was waiting. Another came out to see if I had been given an approximate queue time. Inside they showed me the engine air filter but didn't push for replacement. Everyone inside was very courteous and respectful, and active working as needed in the 3 different stalls . The order writer put me through resetting the oil change indicator at the start and another checked that it had been done before guiding me out. The order writer had me start the car while the guy in the pit underneath verified no leak after the change. Another also double checked that I had the next change reminder sticker. Altogether this was a pretty stellar experience although quickness was much because I was fortunate enought to arrive when there were not cars backed up. The one thing that I would remove stars for..................... is oil dripping onto my garage floor after parking at home. But this was failure to wipe off the oil that had poured onto the under-body plastic lining when draining the oil and I will assume this will be done on any future changes that I have done here. I will return because the wait time for 'quick' changes at the dealer seem to be a few hours minimum and this is closer to home. read more
