Final Update: After finally getting in direct contact with the General Sales Manager, Chuck, I was able to fully express my frustrations regarding how I was previously handled by both the representative and the salesman. Chuck took the situation seriously from the start. He acknowledged my experience, made it clear that this was not how they operate, and stated that this was far from the values of both their dealership and Chapman as a whole. He immediately took action. Chuck personally looked into everything and went out of his way to make things right by ensuring I was placed in a vehicle that truly met my needs. He arranged for me to work directly with one of his trusted salesmen, Andrew, and made it clear that when I arrived, I would be handled exclusively by him--no confusion, no runaround. From that point forward, the experience was a complete night-and-day difference compared to what I dealt with before. The level of professionalism, communication, and respect shown by both Chuck and Andrew completely turned the situation around. This review only reflects the scheduling department and in no way reflects the excellent service I received from Service Advisor Cade Smith. I'm a retired service manager and give props to Cade for his handling of my issue (5 stars). Issue: The scheduling. I called the scheduling department to make an appointment as this dealer is really far from me but they had the best price on oil changes for my 2021 Trailboss. The scheduler said the wait will be one hour. Ok no problem I can do that and made the appointment. However... right when I get there I was informed it would be a two hour wait. I didn't really have that much time to spare but had to get it done as my emissions were due. 2.5 hours later my truck was finally done with a standard oil change with no rotate and no other services. Someone really needs to address this issue with the scheduling department. I'd almost rather pay the higher prices at other dealers (that are closer to me) than have to wait that long for a standard oil change. Especially after being told it would only take one hour. My service advisor Clayton always does an outstanding job of listening and following through on the issues I'm experiencing and keeping me informed on the repairs and costs. The only negative feedback is the video with the technician walking around the vehicle and describing what the technician sees when the vehicle is in the shop. I purchased a car from this dealership about two years ago and worked with a saleswoman (BreeAnn O.). At the time of purchase, I pointed out an issue with the passenger door panel where the interior foam was exposed and asked if it could be repaired. I was told it would be looked into and potentially taken care of. After purchase, I followed up multiple times about this issue and was advised to schedule an appointment. I drove about 40 minutes to the dealership for that appointment, only to be told the repair could not be done. When I brought this up with my salesperson, she appeared dismissive and stated that this type of repair was not possible, despite previous discussions suggesting it could be addressed. Regarding the exterior, the vehicle's paint looked fine at the time of purchase with no visible issues. Over time, I've noticed significant fading and sun damage, particularly on the hood compared to the rest of the vehicle. While some of this may be due to environmental exposure, it raised concerns for me given how well the exterior appeared at the time of purchase, and I wish I had been made aware of any prior paint condition or history before purchasing. Overall, I felt there was a lack of clarity and follow-through regarding the condition of the vehicle and what repairs would be considered. Do NOT bring your car here This place is located on NE side of Ray and I-10, near the Lowe's and In n Out but more towards the freeway. Brought my Volt in for service which was ok. However, they managed to break off the cap for the electric charging port. They said they would order one and fix it. 3 weeks later I called in and they said they don't have it because "it's out of stock and on back order." So I waited 1 more week and then I thought let me check eBay motors. And what do you think happened? Of course there was one. $36. Got it in 3 days. Seriously? If you're not going to fix your mistakes then just say so, do not lie about being "out of stock" or "on back order." That is just ridiculous. Unacceptable Experience - Dishonest Service Department If I could give a negative star rating, I would. My recent experience with the service department at Freeway was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I brought in my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado due to a brake issue. The diagnosis was a bad brake master cylinder, which was fortunately covered by the extended warranty I purchased (a nearly $3,000 repair). However, the service advisor, Matt Shakespeare, told me that all the brakes and rotors were completely shot due to this issue and quoted me $1,894.57 to replace them all. That seemed very overpriced, so I let him know I'd be looking elsewhere. Initially, he appeared to understand. I later found a reputable shop willing to do the same work for $1,100--still not cheap, but significantly more reasonable. Once I informed Matt, he suddenly dropped the price to $1,300. I appreciated the gesture but had already decided to go with the other shop. Here's where the real issue begins: Matt then called back and told me that if I didn't have the brake and rotor work done at Freeway, it would void my warranty. This didn't sound right, so I contacted my warranty provider, MPP (Mechanical Protection Plan), directly--not once, but three separate times. Each time, they confirmed this was false. No such condition exists in my warranty coverage. At that point, it became clear I was being misled--pressured to complete the work under false pretenses. That is unethical and unacceptable. When I confronted Matt about this, he backpedaled and said he was just trying to keep me safe. But honesty and trust are critical, especially when it comes to safety and expensive repairs. If he had simply been honest from the start, I may have given Freeway my business. But the blatant lie ruined any trust I had. To make matters worse, even the warranty company recommended I ask Freeway for written documentation stating that failure to complete the brake/rotor job with them would void the warranty. Of course, no such document exists--because it's not true. You know something's wrong when the warranty company is more transparent than the dealership. This kind of dishonest behavior has no place in a customer service environment. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to approach this service department with caution. read more

Worst service experience of my life. They released my 19 yr old daughters vehicle after over a week in shop for repair without properly road testing. Within under 20 mins she was broken down on side of the freeway. They would not send a tow truck, I had to get one dispatched from out of state. Said they can't give a courtesy vehicle. She is stuck, can't come home for Christmas. Vehicle supposedly has a completely new issue that needs a new warranty claim, will take more than a week for a coil pack? Please . Did not cover our towing costs and now say the new battery that is 7 months old needs to be replaced . I took it to a service department at a different dealer and they said it was a battery and sent me home. The check engine light came on again and I decided to take it to Freeway Chevrolet. Sandra listened to my frustration and was much more communicative through the process. They made one repair that ended up not working and they took it back without any hassle. If the option to give negative stars was available, -5 stars. This whole thing started mid December. I called regarding the issue with my car ( An electrical/possible fcm issue). I advised the person that took my call, that i was advised its possibly gm part: 84084066 (FCM), causing the issue and that there was wires that were previously damaged. (driver side, rear end wheel) (But i had already repaired). Days later I get a diagnostic report that doesnt even mention the starting issue, nor the fcm or damaged wires. I called and spoke with SERVICE ADVISOR LOGAN, I get advised they didnt find any issues, codes, etc. But advises the the battery keeps draining. I waited a couple of seconds, to see if he tells me more about the battery draining issue, but nothing more about it. I asked, what about the fcm or the wires. He had no idea what i was talking about. He states, give me more time, ill get that checked. A week or so later, I get a call. No issues found, but that we should get wiring repaired by their technician. I approved the repairs. A week or so later, I get a call, that the job has been completed and the car is working perfectly fine. Logan states, that they tested out multiple times and that its good to go. I go pick up my car and go straight to auto zone, to get my battery replaced and then go home. I test the car out by starting it up a couple of times and lo and behold, the same starting issue keeps happening and battery draining. I called Logan and advised the starting issue continues. He states, they tested it and that they are not getting any codes. I asked questions, like is it possible for codes to erase or something. He says "yeah", we have this thing called a global reset, that wipes codes, when the car has no battery. I ain't no rocket scientist, but I state, is it possible that a global reset keeps happening, when the battery keeps draining smh. I advised the car will be towed back over there and also advis3d about the gm part 84084066 (fcm)) Logan states he will get the top tech on it. I get the car back to the dealership, and i call Logan about a week later. Holy smokes, they're finding codes now smh.. LOGAN STATES THEY NEED MORE TIME. Ok no problem, take your time. A week and a half later, I speak to Logan and was advised the fuse box in the trunk needs to get swapped and a wire repaired, that keeps draining the battery. I ask, which wire or what, he wasn't able to clarify, just that the tech advised a wire near the fuse box needs to get repaired. I called the next day and spoke with Logan. I was searching for the fuse box he mentioned to get replaced and no dealership had it available, with no eta when it would be available. I asked when can he get it or what, he stated that I need to approve the work, before he can look for the part. I then stated that I had already purchased the fuse box on ebay and that I can have it to him by the Friday of that week we spoke. He said it was fine. So I approved the wiring and that the tech would start working on the car on monday 1/29. I end up taking the part on Monday. I call Logan on thursday 2/1. I inquired about my car and that they have been working on the car and might be ready Friday, but most likely next week 2/5. I said thats fine. But on friday I went to the dealership, to check if there was a sweater in the car, I have been trying to find. I go to the dealership, find Logan, we start talking about the car, that its almost done, just that the tech had to be put on another project. I asked to see my car, so I can get my sweater and said to myself, heck let me look at the fuse box area, they have been working on (Trunk area). THEY HAD NOT STARTED ANY REPAIRS., NOR HAD REMOVED THE FUSE BOX THAT WAS GOING TO BE REPLACED. He still had the nerve to say, that they have been working on it. So I ask, what have they worked on, which wire or wires, etc. He still wasn't able to clarify which ones or what. Of course I got upset and the next day, got my car towed home. I got my car home and replaced the fuse box, that Logan mentioned needs to get swapped. The car still contines with the same starting issue and battery draining. The whole dam time, gm part 84084066 was never mentioned by Logan.. I ORDERED PART 84084066 and got it programmed. I installed it on Wednesday 8/4 and guess what. MY CAR NO LONGER IS HAVING A STARTING ISSUE, NOR IS THE BATTERY DRAINING. A WHOLE DAM 2 MONTHS OF ME WASTING MONEY ON UBERS HERE AND THERE TO WORK, PICKIMG UP MY KIDS, ETC. THE COST OF GETTING CAR TOWED. MISSING IMPORTANT EVENTS, ETC AND EVENTUALLY GETTING ANXIETY THROUGHOUT THE EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR DEALERSHIP. THE WHOLE DAM TIME IT WAS PART 84084066, WHICH I HAD MENTIONED TO YOU GUYS. read more
