I bought a claimed 70k motor for my Tundra, had it installed at a shop, under 2k miles later (having changed the oil twice & paying attention it was not losing any) it threw a rod. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Contacted Precision, first it's you must have run it without oil, then it's a few days past 6 months, then yes you found us & had us deliver it but the shop added it to your bill & paid us so we won't talk to you.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So I am putting a new motor in for a few hundred more than I paid for the junk motor & spending another north of 9 thousand dollars. As if all that was not bad enough, it cost me 1k to find out the motor was trash because I thought it was just a starter & the Sequoia starter is a massive hassle to get at so it cost a fortune. Ordered part morning of 8/26 told part was gonna be ready 8/27 at 3 I show up at 4 pm and it's not even pulled. I drove 30 minutes to get here and they said they could maybe have it pulled tomorrow. Despite making a major mistake, Precision handled their error with the best customer service I've ever had in my life. I drove up from Tucson to pick up a transfer case for my Jeep from Precision. Called multiple times and confirmed the night before that the transfer case was the correct model. I arrived, paid in full, and went out only to find they had loaded up an incorrect model that wouldn't work at all with my vehicle. I was infuriated and the refund process took about 20 minutes. They did refer me to an auto parts vendor down the road, which luckily had the correct transfer case for me. When I got home, the manager/owner called me personally to apologize for the mishap and offered to pay for my gas since I drove almost 2 hours from Tucson for the part. Later than night, the employee I worked with previously also called personally to explain. Two weeks later, I got $40 in the mail along with a nice handwritten note to make up for the inconvenience. While I was angry in the moment, Precision took care of the issue and exceeded my expectations, especially considering I never bought any parts from them in the end and was a first-time customer. Precision auto parts manufacturers completely fail in many areas! I bought a fuel pump that stated it was a complete kit and it was missing 3 critical parts and was NOT complete as advertised on their box! I bought a CV axle and it was NOT balanced, so I tried again with a replacement and it was not balanced either! Precision Auto Parts are junk and they are fraudulent with their marketing! They charged a high dollar in fact 3 times the price of the cheap ones! read more

Pretty good service as far as salvage yards go. However they did give me the wrong part and didn't return my calls about the problem as promised. They did take it back when returned. I'll probably give them a shot again if I need another used part, but the experience was not quite great. read more

I bought a vehicle December 2020: sales said it was 170 pt inspected A/c didn't work, sum scratches on vehicle, blown rear speakers, interior vent broken, horrible detailing! head sales said tires were new they were half tread and lied said vehicle can tow 9500 lbs. It's only rated 7500 lbs. this state is over priced on they're vehicles! so as of 01/22 mi extended parts warranty expires they didn't mention to me until I found out on 08/18/21 from a service agent and certain things aren't warrantied even though I have a great warranty! only oil and tire rotation for next 5 years! hmmm nice $6k warranty from mi experience I will not buy another vehicle from avondale nissan AZ again! I will get a double inspection outside next time and know how to speak and assess price when shopping! read more

Got a few parts for my car from them. Items looked good. I don't know what people expect from a used item. Some people are just too picky! My parts looked great and worked perfectly for my car. Felix helped me out and it is very knowledgable when it comes to part. He had great customer service. Place looks clean and has a/c. So you won't feel hot while you wait. I always look with them first for my parts before I look anywhere else. Also the location was the main reason why I went to them in the first place. They are about 7 min from downtown. What a S*!#y place. If you go there, DON'T "take a number!" If you do, you will not get service, Just walk up to the parts guys a stare at them, then, and only then, will they acknowledge you. After you pay for your parts you're required to see the Cashier. Yep, that's right, you pay the parts guy and then he sends you to see the "Cashier" who in essence enters your purchase in their system to track inventory and revenues; something that should be completed on the back-end. What a bunch if crap. I think they're trying to copy a car dealership process without the customer service and quality. Save yourself the hassle and move on other used parts yards.
