After inspection, was sent a comprehensive evaluation AND was taken through all the points by Brian (Bryan?), and shown/told that car had a coolant leak that was likely going to result in having a $5000+ repair sooner than later. Some of the BEST $ I ever spent! I ALWAYS suggest pre-purchase inspection of ANY used car, irrespective of ANY dealership saying "we thoroughly inspect all of our vehicles."

This should've been a one day job after they got the parts but they had my car from 6/22 - 7/1 due to their complete incompetence. The day the job should've been done I started sensing they messed something up because I got a text message at 1030 stating the job was done and they were wrapping up. Cool, I'll be expecting a call in an hour or so. 1:40 comes around, no phone call so I call them. Give me some BS about they need the alignment and they only have one lift and they've been booked all day. Call back at 4:40, they tell me they are waiting for someone to test drive it. Call back at 5:40, close to closing and I'm told it's ready. Come in as I'm paying, over $2k mind you, Bryan asks if I'm aware of the light that's on. I tell him no because no one has called me about anything. I assume he meant the low oil level light that was on and it was no big deal. Walk out to my car and my check engine, engine malfunction, low oil pressure, red oil can and my console screen telling me to pull over immediately is all lit up. I go get Bryan, he comes out and looks. He says it's not a big deal and that it's safe to drive. A mechanic.....is saying it's safe to drive with all those warning lights on. I ask him if it's safe to drive and unbeknownst to him I'm recording this entire conversation on Facebook voice messenger and when he says that the shop will be liable for anything that happens if I drive off I figure okay, I'll drive it home and bring it back in the morning after I work. As I'm leaving trying to turn left on baseline I almost get tboned by a jeep because my car will not accelerate. Take it back, livid, and leave it with them because what choice do I have? Days go by and we have to practically beg them to keep us informed. I can't work without my car and because of them I'm out over $2000 in lost wages. Throughout this they try and tell me it's my fault because I wasn't keeping up on oil changes and that's causing issues. I have receipts for every oil change I've gotten and the miles put on the car between them, don't tell me I'm not keeping up on my oil changes. After a week and clearly everyone and their mother that works at this joke of a shop they found the problem: the incompetent moron who worked on my car connected the wire harness wrong and it was causing my car to go into limp mode and light up everything on my dash. Over a week it took them to figure this one out. They probably could've opened up ChatGPT, put the issues in and gotten a result faster. I'm not a mechanic but I feel like if a car was working fine when it was brought in and after we worked on it it was quite literally undriveable I would triple check every. Single. Thing. I did to said car. I would keep the customer informed multiple times a day on what was going on instead of making them feel like they were completely forgotten about. Clearly these guys didn't care enough to do so. Don't EVER take your car here, they will screw up your car and not even care enough that you are out of work and costing you your livelihood. 10 days my car was in that shop. 10 days, for something that should've taken one and that's being generous, all because of their complete incompetence. Side note: not all Christian brothers are trash, my sister took hers to the one in San Tan Valley and they were amazing. This one is just horrific and they will be getting reported to the BBB and the AG. I am honestly astounded at how awful this place is. Update to their reply: I'm the primary on the account and your shop made next to no attempt to contact us regarding any issues until we gave them attitude about the lack of communication. Buyer beware..... I…read morehad a very frustrating experience with AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care. I originally brought my vehicle in for simple preventative maintenance just a transmission flush and there were no shifting issues beforehand. After getting the car back, we immediately noticed the transmission was shifting worse than before. It was clearly not operating correctly, which was extremely concerning considering it had no problems prior to the service. No tow service was offered, I had to pay out of pocket. Communication throughout this process was also very poor. Amy at AAMCO was the only person I ever spoke with, and I had to initiate every call myself. I was never proactively updated. I was told the GM would reach out, but as of today, I still have not received a call. The vehicle was dropped off Monday morning, no one called, I called and was told to call back in the AM. Called the next day multiple times with no updates available. Finally called at 11am Tuesday, was told give her 20-45 minutes. 2 hours went by and I called back and was told there was an issue. Thats when I was told it would cost $2,300 just to diagnose the issue. They told us that the vehicle started throwing codes as they pulled it into the bay. No codes or weird shifting before taking it there the first time. The first invoice states everything looks great, fluid, no codes and run great. The second invoice is where they call out these codes and from there is where it was the deny, deny, deny game. At that point, we decided to tow the vehicle to a dealership for a second opinion. They informed us that the transmission was completely done and would need to be replaced at a cost of $7,600. Going in for routine maintenance and ending up with a failed transmission is unacceptable. Then being asked to pay thousands more just for a diagnosis, along with the lack of communication, made the situation even worse. The poor customer experience and lack of empathy throughout this process has led me to never want to use AAMCO again. I suggest choosing a different shop. AAMCO is not a local small business, and based on my experience, it felt like they cared more about getting paid than what actually happens to your car.

I met with Logan for a quote immediately after calling Friendly Auto, who was incredibly professional and kind enough to spend a minute putting the cover piece back in for me since I couldn't reach it. Logan gave me a quote, saying the timing could take anywhere from half hour to an hour due to different pieces needing to be removed to access the bulb area. We scheduled an appointment for the following day to get the bulbs replaced. The next day, Eric (manager) helped me get situated. With the service ending up being under a half hour of labor, he ended up reducing the cost of the service due to it being quicker than expected (which was honorable). You don't always see that kind of honesty in the auto service nowadays and it was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back here and we're pleased with the service provided!

Then we heard through the grapevine that our friend Gary started working at Shorie. We'd instantly trust any shop he worked at. Coincidentally, our vehicle began making loud noises and needed attention just about then. Perfect timing. Evidently, when cooling fans vibrate enough, they break off and cause severe damage to your radiator. So, we had our vehicle towed into the shop and had a rental for over a week because we had to help some friends in Yuma. Schorie was fantastic. They did all the work on our vehicle while we were out of town. It needed a few more things, so we authorized the additional work. The estimate was less than other shops had quoted us (for the front rotors and breaks). We came home, drove over, picked up our vehicle, and were super happy with the work that was done and the warranty terms. Aric was terrific to deal with the entire time on the phone and then in the office as well. The shop is run well, prices are decent, and they have a super warranty to back up their service on your vehicle. Highly recommend.

It's a real deal mom n pop repair shop & I can appreciate their getting behind on a job so I wanted them to know I wasn't gonna rush them or hover over them. When I picked the car up it ran a little rough. No problem, the owner said bring it back & they will check it out. They fixed the issue & I did have to pay for the needed parts but no Labor. I always judge a business more on how they respond to & take care of issues AFTER your initial service or repair, and they get two THUMBS UP for that. They are sometimes unable to answer the phone so be patient if you need to talk to anyone. But April is awesome when you do get to speak to her & Ken the owner is very hands on with every aspect of his business. My overall experience was great! I would recommend KB transmission to anyone.

He said I was the first person in 5 years that had asked for prices to be matched from another nearby mechanic shop. He even said that the prices that they quoted me, that I should go to the other shop instead, was a $60 difference by the way. Was also told by Ken that I wasn't a good customer because I had only done one oil service with them in a year and a half. Will never give Crawford's my business and they're just another auto shop that's dishonest and takes advantage of their customers. Hard to find integrity these days!!
