Parked in the shade cooling off so we could inspect it in comfort.

I had a great experience today when my husband and I came in to "look" at a used car. Our salesman Todd was friendly and helpful from our first interaction. I told him what we wanted to look at. He quickly located it and had it brought up front under the shade canopy and cooled off. He let us inspect it, answered all our many questions and let us go at our speed. We didn't feel rushed at all. Long story short..... we traded in my truck and went forward with the purchase of my new beautiful Mustang GT. Everything was fully upfront and explained on every level. It was a very easy process. Very smooth! If you're looking for a car I'd fully recommend calling Todd to help you!

Almost $80k Lexus GX550, they said they fixed some scratches.

Terrible vehicle reconditioning standards. Vehicles look like they were touched up with spray paint and nail polish. Went to look at two higher-end vehicles and this dealer literally ruined them right before they hiked the resale price up. This is just a continuation of a previous experience with Bill Luke years ago. I did one transaction with Bill Luke back in 2013 and told myself I'd never go through that experience again. Here I am 13 years later giving them the benefit of the doubt and they are still doing the worst work for the highest price. Not to mention that I called ahead to have one vehicle ready for a test drive and it wasn't ready an hour and a half later when I got there at the time I said I would. Interior was a mess, gunk on the seats and I didn't even end up test driving. The other two dealers I actually test drove cars at had the cars filled with gas, washed and ready by the front door with a similar lead time provided. Check your vehicles! If anyone has to buy a vehicle from any Bill Luke dealer, ask about ANY vehicle reconditioning. Ask them to point out EXACTLY what was done and make sure it is up to your standards. The person touch-up painting these cars shouldn't be allowed to touch ANYTHING. The Lexus GX550 had dotted paint touch ups and a gash in the sidewall of one of the tires. The hood had scratches all overs like two cats were going at it. The BMW M2 had a bottom tier repaint of the front bumper. Color looked off from the rest of the car and paint was on the grill inserts and headlights. So disappointing to see a dealer sell you the world over the phone and brag about their standards to arrive to potentially spend $150k between two vehicles to find that they don't have any standards. Even the sales guy thought the things I pointed out looked awful. No price negotiations either, just setting a price and hoping some idiot walks in there without asking too many questions. BE CAUTIOUS HERE. Ask all of the questions and do your due diligence.

I want to express my gratitude to Blake and the entire team for making this experience both enjoyable and stress-free.

I recently purchased my Volkswagen Tiguan from Blake, and he was an incredibly friendly and easy-going sales representative. I want to express my gratitude to Blake and the entire team for making this experience both enjoyable and stress-free.

Bait-and-Switch Experience I received an official written offer from Bill Luke Santan for $35,025 on my vehicle. After following up, they suddenly dropped the number to $26,000 and tried to justify it. That's not a small difference -- that's almost $10,000 lower than what they lured me in with. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic to get people into the dealership. Extremely disappointing and dishonest business practice in my experience. I would strongly caution others to be careful with their "offers."

A worn out edge on the rotor.

BUYER BEWARE, it is not always what it appears to be! Purchased a 2022 GMC AT4. Pointed out some obvious concerns and was told there would be addressed and taken care of, Neither was true. For instance, I was told this air filter was fine and did not need to be replaced. In addition, the brake rotor had visible wear on it, and they said that too was fine. However, I don't believe a pre-certified vehicle typically has those defects unless they're not falling in the guidelines of the manufacturer of the vehicle.

Both of these recalls were not done before the vehicle was sold not cool
      Jake C.

When you buy a vehicle, make sure that you ask the dealership have they done all recalls? this could turn into a humongous nightmare please look at another review for superstition Honda trying to fix Bill Luke Santan mistakes i've included photos all these things should be done by a dealership before you buy it when they take the car through emissions testing they get notices about recalls a good dealership. Will do this for you so be aware also, if you have good credit or even decent credit. You should never go to a big dealership like these two go to your bank ask for a vehicle broker they will get you a 7 to 9% interest even if you have OK credit check with your bank first do your research. Don't get screwed by these sharks.

The vehicle we decided to purchase. Thanks Tristen!

The problems were completely outside of CarMax's control, but what really stood out was how they handled the situation. From start to finish, they made the entire process as stress-free as possible. TJ Schlake was my sales consultant, and Mustafa, one of the sales managers, were both outstanding to work with. Their first priority was trying to find me another vehicle that fit exactly what I was looking for. When we couldn't find the right replacement, there was no pressure or hassle. They honored their return policy, took the vehicle back without any issues, and refunded my down payment exactly as promised. Even though the first vehicle didn't work out, the customer service was exceptional, and that's what I'll remember most. They treated me with respect throughout the entire process and made what could have been a frustrating experience incredibly easy. My family has had another great experience with CarMax as well. We sold my son's car to them, and they offered significantly more than anyone else. The process was quick, straightforward, and transparent. They paid off the remaining loan and handed him a check for the difference before he left. Buying or selling a vehicle can be stressful, but the team at CarMax Gilbert made both experiences smooth and hassle-free. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again, and I highly recommend asking for TJ Schlake if you're shopping for a vehicle.

Overall, I had a good experience purchasing a BMW from CarMax Gilbert. One of the biggest…read moreadvantages is the no-haggle pricing policy--what you see is what you pay. There was no back-and-forth negotiation, and the entire purchase process was remarkably streamlined compared to traditional dealerships. From start to finish, it took a little over an hour to complete the paperwork and drive off the lot. Llyah was excellent to work with and made the buying experience smooth and stress-free. After purchasing the vehicle, I took it to a local BMW dealership for an independent inspection. They identified a few concerns, including tread depth that was below acceptable standards on three of the four tires and an overdue cooling system flush. The BMW service department suggested I contact CarMax to see whether they would address the issues. A few days after reaching back out to CarMax, I was contacted by Alexandria from the service department. She explained that CarMax generally does not perform preventative maintenance based on age and instead follows mileage-based maintenance guidelines. Because the vehicle had not reached the mileage threshold for a cooling system flush, they declined to perform that service, even though it had been more than four years since the last one. However, CarMax did inspect the tires and ultimately determined that three of the four did not meet their sales standards. They replaced all three tires at no cost, including mounting and balancing. I was surprised they did not feel an alignment was necessary, as I've typically had one performed whenever new tires are installed, but I appreciated their willingness to correct the tire issue without any pushback. Another issue surfaced a few days after purchase when a sour odor began coming through the vents. While trying to locate the source, I discovered a decomposing rat in the vehicle. Combined with the tire situation, this left me with the impression that the pre-sale inspection may have been more cursory than thorough. Despite those concerns, I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the efficiency of the buying process, and CarMax's willingness to resolve significant quality issues after the sale. The customer service was excellent throughout. That said, their vehicle inspection and preparation process before putting cars on the lot could use some improvement. If those areas were addressed, this would easily be a five-star experience.

I was very leary of purchasing pre-owned as I have heard so many horror car buying stories of shady salesman, selling faulty vehicles and lacking clarity about the true vehicle condition, so I started my research. It took me close to a month of research, before I found a preowned dealership that still honored integrity. I knew the cars I was interested in and found my way to Goldie's. I was working with another dealership, as I had been pre-approved, but let me tell you what made the difference.. the service at Goldie's ! Through text and email, John, my sales-friend, (I call him) was so relatable and communicative. Walking in I have to admit is pretty cool, in the show room they had a old school IMMACULATE Corvette, a skew ball machine, and arcade games it felt unlike any other dealership I had walked in. The owners son greeted me and asked if I needed anything and to let him know if I did! He was the sweetest teenager. When they say Goldie's is a family business they really mean it ! I was working with John and let me tell you he was so transparent and honest it was like a breath of fresh air. I had considered other vehicles they had but he talked me through the maintenance cost, resale value and common mechanical issues each of the cars I had considered. Once I settled on a vehicle he was able to check for me the maintenance records as well as reviewed the carfax report with me. When I took the car for a test drive he told me to take my time get to know the car and make sure it was right for me. I never felt pressured to purchase. I was having a horrible time in dealing with the insurance payout of my previous vehicle and John was very empathetic in understanding my situation. He had set expectations before I came that with the insurance payout being delayed I may not be able to take the vehicle the vehicle home. I was thrilled with the no pressure atmosphere, and just came to take a look at the vehicle in person, with zero expectation to buy. John and his manager worked magic. I did in fact decide to purchase my vehicle and was able to take it home, there is a small cosmetic issue that I requested to have repaired and he called immediately and got the approval to get it taken care of. I'll be returning later this week to have that completed. I'll keep you guys posted after the service appointment. I had a great experience and I feel I got a good deal on my vehicle and, I felt like my business was valued, my concerns were heard and they've made a lifelong customer out of me ! To be honest, I was a little…read morenervous at first because of the low price and because they didn't know the full history of the vehicle. It was part of a deal they made with a Dodge dealership out in Avondale to get a vehicle one of their own clients wanted. Typically, when a dealership says something like that, you have to be a little leery-it can feel like they're setting up an excuse just in case something goes wrong. My antennas definitely went up. But Rick came across as a genuinely honest guy. I realized it was a family-run operation-his son is the sales manager-and as someone who recently started mr own business, I really respected hard they work. I asked Rick point-blank if he thought the Jeep would make it to Colorado and back (since he was the one who drove it all the way from Avondale). He looked me in the eye and said, "Without a doubt." That same night, I got an oil change and hit the road for Colorado. Usually, I do a lot more maintenance when I first pick up a vehicle, but given the high mileage, I was skeptical and didn't want to sink too much cash into it right away. But it ran like an absolute dream. It's a 4.7L 4x4, so it's naturally heavy on gas, but outside of fuel costs, I have zero complaints about how it drives. I've had it for just under two months now. I did have to --*lace the water pump recently, k ckily I'm handy and took care of it myself. It also has a minor exhaust manifold leak, but the Jeep runs great overall. There was a slight delay with getting the title past the 30-day mark, but Rick communicated with me the entire way through and issued me another temporary tag so I was fully covered. On top of that-and this is what really set them apart-when I was at the third-party MVD finalizing everything, our sale was already complete. Rick didn't owe me a thing. Knowing I had put almost everything I had into buying this vehicle, he paid for my title, tags, and registration out of his own pocket. That kind of gesture is commendable. I saw a few negative comments on here, but every company gets those --nobody is perfect, and things don't always go as planned. But look at the big picture: they have about a 5-to-1 positive ratio. Most major corporations like Walmart, Target, or Costco can't claim an 80-90% customer satisfaction rate, but Auction Block Auto can. This is where I'll be buying my daughter's first vehicle when she turns 16 in three years, and probably another vehicle or two before then.
