I don't write a lot of reviews, but CarMax Gilbert absolutely earned this one…read more I originally purchased a vehicle from CarMax that unfortunately ended up having mechanical issues. The problems were completely outside of CarMax's control, but what really stood out was how they handled the situation. From start to finish, they made the entire process as stress-free as possible. TJ Schlake was my sales consultant, and Mustafa, one of the sales managers, were both outstanding to work with. Their first priority was trying to find me another vehicle that fit exactly what I was looking for. When we couldn't find the right replacement, there was no pressure or hassle. They honored their return policy, took the vehicle back without any issues, and refunded my down payment exactly as promised. Even though the first vehicle didn't work out, the customer service was exceptional, and that's what I'll remember most. They treated me with respect throughout the entire process and made what could have been a frustrating experience incredibly easy. My family has had another great experience with CarMax as well. We sold my son's car to them, and they offered significantly more than anyone else. The process was quick, straightforward, and transparent. They paid off the remaining loan and handed him a check for the difference before he left. Buying or selling a vehicle can be stressful, but the team at CarMax Gilbert made both experiences smooth and hassle-free. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again, and I highly recommend asking for TJ Schlake if you're shopping for a vehicle.

Overall, I had a good experience purchasing a BMW from CarMax Gilbert. One of the biggest…read moreadvantages is the no-haggle pricing policy--what you see is what you pay. There was no back-and-forth negotiation, and the entire purchase process was remarkably streamlined compared to traditional dealerships. From start to finish, it took a little over an hour to complete the paperwork and drive off the lot. Llyah was excellent to work with and made the buying experience smooth and stress-free. After purchasing the vehicle, I took it to a local BMW dealership for an independent inspection. They identified a few concerns, including tread depth that was below acceptable standards on three of the four tires and an overdue cooling system flush. The BMW service department suggested I contact CarMax to see whether they would address the issues. A few days after reaching back out to CarMax, I was contacted by Alexandria from the service department. She explained that CarMax generally does not perform preventative maintenance based on age and instead follows mileage-based maintenance guidelines. Because the vehicle had not reached the mileage threshold for a cooling system flush, they declined to perform that service, even though it had been more than four years since the last one. However, CarMax did inspect the tires and ultimately determined that three of the four did not meet their sales standards. They replaced all three tires at no cost, including mounting and balancing. I was surprised they did not feel an alignment was necessary, as I've typically had one performed whenever new tires are installed, but I appreciated their willingness to correct the tire issue without any pushback. Another issue surfaced a few days after purchase when a sour odor began coming through the vents. While trying to locate the source, I discovered a decomposing rat in the vehicle. Combined with the tire situation, this left me with the impression that the pre-sale inspection may have been more cursory than thorough. Despite those concerns, I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the efficiency of the buying process, and CarMax's willingness to resolve significant quality issues after the sale. The customer service was excellent throughout. That said, their vehicle inspection and preparation process before putting cars on the lot could use some improvement. If those areas were addressed, this would easily be a five-star experience.

Here is the thing about buying a car - when you buy a new one, there is supposedly a certain amount…read moreof immediate depreciation that occurs when you drive a car off the lot. Unless you just have to have a new car it makes a good amount of financial sense to buy a used car. However, if you go to a general used car place, they may not have a strong desire to build an ongoing relationship with you, they may want to make as much money as they can make off you, in a one off economic exchange. What you want is a place that sells used cars that sees the benefit of an ongoing customer relationship, a place that doesn't want you just to buy a car but to use them every time you need to rent a car - enter Enterprise Car Sales. For a place like Enterprise a used car is a commodity, one where they see the need to make a reasonable amount of profit relative to the recognized value of the car but not a situation where they want to leverage you for all the money they can make on a one off exchange. My own experience was quite pleasant. I looked at the sorts of cars they had available online and then sent in a request for a contact. I immediately received a callback from Phil Biehl, one of their car salespersons and we set up a time for me to come in the following week. He was even nice enough to call me the day before to better dial in on what time a car I was considering buying. When I came in he let me know that the car I was considering had the price dropped on by about a $1K - it seem Enterprise tracks the recognized values of their cars and if they drop they adjust the price downwards - this makes sense in a business model where the company is seeking a defined profit percentage - think Wal-Mart and their roll-back of prices when they work out a better deal with a supplier. I then sat with Evan Chelini, the Assistant Sales Manager, who provided me with a list of options for the purchase, including tinting the windows and a 4 year warranty plan (which I bought) and other options that I decided I didn't want - it was no pressure, and the warranty plan included a free rental car if my own vehicle had to go into the shop and as per their rental practice they would even pick me up at my house and take me to the nearest spot to pick up the rental car. Now, here is the final thing, when you buy a car from Enterprise, you have, I believe, 7 days or a 1K miles to decide you don't want to buy the car and they only charge a $200 restocking fee - similar to when you return something at Amazon - once again, a clear indication that their business model is about maintaining and building an ongoing relationship versus a one-off economic exchange. Well, that was my experience and I would happily buy my next car from Enterprise - that will not be, hopefully, for at least a decade and in the meantime, when I need to rent a car for a road trip (don't use your own car for a road trip people, rent a car so your own vehicle lasts longer) I'll gladly continue to do it through Enterprise. :-)

I bought a used Chrysler Pacifica from enterprise car sales in Gilbert. Within less than a year,…read morebut fortunately, while barely still under warranty, the transmission completely went, requiring a full replacement to the tune of nearly $15,000. Not quite a year later, we are again experiencing engine issues and the passive idol system through which the car shuts off went out of traffic. Light is completely disabled, and the car won't turn over. Today I had to have it towed to my mechanic. Considering I put about $7000 down and financed another approximately $24,000. I should not be having these problems within about 18 months of the purchase. The warranty is expired and it is on me, but I do not want others to make the same mistake I did. I have learned that there was information about the condition of the vehicle that was not shared with me and now because of its condition, I am underwater on my loan. I would never, and I emphasize never buy a car through enterprise car sales again. They make the stereotype jokes about used car salesmen seem very appealing. I feel that I was duped and got stuck with a lemon.

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! What a great experience we had with Karsten…read moreand Moore Auto Here's my story My son ( unbeknownst to me) was looking to replace my 2011 MKT ( three years of repairs; $20k, another story) He had seen a listing for 'free supercharger' Tesla, By the time he went to view this car it lwas 'sold' But what he did find was even better! A 'full self driving' Tesla (2021 Y) He took it for a test drive only to find that the air conditioner was weak. He passed this information on to Logan, the salesman and Logan said that they would fix the issue before selling the car. Daniel, the repair/tesla service technician didn't just 'fix' the problem but he ended up replacing the air conditioning system. They could have so easily put coolant into the system and said' here you go' but they didn't Our 'out the door cost', including tax and fees was $19k. When you realize the FSD mode ($8k) and the air conditioner replacement ( no less than $2k) we got the deal of the decade. I don't understand the negative reviews, but we have nothing but the highest praises for this small dealership Thank you Logan, Daniel and Alyssa

I also asked if the truck needed anything which they said it did not. When i received the truck via a transport company, i immediately noticed issues. The driver seat controls didn't work, steering wheel position adjustments didn't work, passenger side mirror adjustments didn't work, one of the cameras for the birds eye view camera didn't work, the tailgate is stuck shut and wont release, and the speakers were completely blown. The truck showed up completely filthy (specifically the interior) and the truck was out of diesel and DEF fluid. They didn't even change the oil on the truck. The dealer charged me $600 for the transport, saying that's what the shipping company was charging. But when i signed the invoice during delivery the driver showed me that they only charged $450. When i brought up these issues to the dealer, Tanner stated that i should take it to the Ford dealership to get fixed. Then he stated that he "cant be of much help". So obviously i will be stuck paying out of pocket for all the issues with the truck. I guess its my fault for trusting a dealer and buying something sight unseen. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
