I was very leary of purchasing pre-owned as I have heard so many horror car buying stories of shady salesman, selling faulty vehicles and lacking clarity about the true vehicle condition, so I started my research. It took me close to a month of research, before I found a preowned dealership that still honored integrity. I knew the cars I was interested in and found my way to Goldie's. I was working with another dealership, as I had been pre-approved, but let me tell you what made the difference.. the service at Goldie's ! Through text and email, John, my sales-friend, (I call him) was so relatable and communicative. Walking in I have to admit is pretty cool, in the show room they had a old school IMMACULATE Corvette, a skew ball machine, and arcade games it felt unlike any other dealership I had walked in. The owners son greeted me and asked if I needed anything and to let him know if I did! He was the sweetest teenager. When they say Goldie's is a family business they really mean it ! I was working with John and let me tell you he was so transparent and honest it was like a breath of fresh air. I had considered other vehicles they had but he talked me through the maintenance cost, resale value and common mechanical issues each of the cars I had considered. Once I settled on a vehicle he was able to check for me the maintenance records as well as reviewed the carfax report with me. When I took the car for a test drive he told me to take my time get to know the car and make sure it was right for me. I never felt pressured to purchase. I was having a horrible time in dealing with the insurance payout of my previous vehicle and John was very empathetic in understanding my situation. He had set expectations before I came that with the insurance payout being delayed I may not be able to take the vehicle the vehicle home. I was thrilled with the no pressure atmosphere, and just came to take a look at the vehicle in person, with zero expectation to buy. John and his manager worked magic. I did in fact decide to purchase my vehicle and was able to take it home, there is a small cosmetic issue that I requested to have repaired and he called immediately and got the approval to get it taken care of. I'll be returning later this week to have that completed. I'll keep you guys posted after the service appointment. I had a great experience and I feel I got a good deal on my vehicle and, I felt like my business was valued, my concerns were heard and they've made a lifelong customer out of me ! When I called to ask about the truck I wanted to look at, it took him awhile to determine whether or not it was available. He said they "run a tight ship" around there, I thought he meant they were clean and organized... turns out he meant the "tight ship" was packed so tight that you couldn't hardly walk around. Pray that the vehicle you want to test drive isn't buried behind 20 other vehicles. An old fast food restaurant probably doesn't make for the best car lot. The staff seemed relatively friendly, but I wouldn't do business there.

At the…read moresale the dealer gave me a CARFAX showing a clean title and only a minor May 2023 rear-end accident. I relied on that and bought the car. During my 90,000-mile service on 5/30/2026 the alignment was badly out of spec. A diagnostic at Sun Devil Auto on 6/3/2026 confirmed a bent front-passenger (right-front) strut, indicating a prior right-front collision. Researching the VIN, I found the vehicle had gone through an IAAI salvage auction on 12/16/2024 (Lot 40916124), listed with "Right Front" as the primary damage and sold for $8,700 - about six months before I bought it. Rollit took it into inventory on 1/3/2025 and listed it on 2/6/2025. None of this - the salvage auction or the front-right collision damage - was disclosed to me, and none of it appears on the CARFAX the dealer provided. The front bumper's lower lip had also been re-secured with screws, consistent with concealing damage to that corner. My attorney sent Rollit a formal demand on 6/11/2026; the dealership did not respond by the 6/19/2026 deadline. I have also filed complaints with the Arizona Attorney General (confirmation EDKVU-9OI92) and ADOT/MVD. Desired resolution: rescind the sale and refund my $19,686.50, or pay $7,500 to cover the vehicle's diminished value plus repair and inspection costs.

I dropped the truck off and spent days trying to get basic updates on whether the vehicle had even been diagnosed, if parts were ordered, or when it would be completed. Every phone call resulted in being told "Mike will call you," but I never received a single update from the service department. Apparently only one person handles all service information, and nobody else could provide any details whatsoever. I rely on this truck for work and eventually had to pull the vehicle from the dealership and pay my own mechanic to complete the repair because I could not get any timeline or communication from them. If you buy here, be prepared for extremely poor communication after the sale if something goes wrong.

After 7 hours of delays, repeated follow-ups & time-wasting runaround/alternative recommended offerings of zero interest to me as a consumer, purchase order was sent at literal end-of-day (after hours for my credit union to process today, where I had preapproval for loan before even contacting them) with separate charge added for documentation fee + $1,430 "Reconditioning" fee, neither of which were ever disclosed during conversation. This is in stark contrast of AZ A.R.S. 28-4115, specific to "online pricing must match what is paid for item in offer." When dealership was informed of this, a voicemail was left indicating "well, don't say it has been sold," followed by text messages saying it has been sold (attached with relevant party phone extensions), despite a call to dealership indicating the car is available placed by a friend after the incident. Do not do business with these individuals. Everything else on their lot has minor-to-moderate wreck damage (repaired, in some cases)/high mileage, and sales people seem only interested in using this car as bait to draw interest, then pivot to lesser offerings on the lot/attempt to take advantage of unknowing consumers by including fees in this manner for individuals who did not perform online research before walking in.
