We filled our drinks just around the corner from there. Then, we proceeded to walk upstairs to a very cool dining area, where there's also a nice bar. Our food was brought to us and it was yummy. I had the 3 roasted chicken sliders. Others in our party had the Frychos, BBQ, bacon melt, and a ranch bacon melt. It was all very good. Well we were looking forward to trying this place for yet another food opportunity. As we walked through the front door there were no tables or chairs. On further examination we realized it was all UPSTAIRS......UP TWO FLIGHTS OF STAIRS!! NO ELEVATOR!!! I am 80 and my wife is 76. Not a good start. We were told that you order here where we came in then HEAD UPSTAIRS and our food will be brought to us. ODD..... OSHA would love this plan......NOT!! Now to the food. Staff wasn't really helpful when ordering when asked of any recommendations and the only answer you get is depends what you like and a blank stare. After you order you go upstairs and find a seat and they bring you your food. After finding a seat at a table we waited for the table to be bussed and no one ever came or apparently didn't hear us or care the two times we asked. That being said it's a pretty loud place but it was to be expected as it was more of a bar setting. They have lots of beers on tap and plenty of tv's to keep you busy while waiting. The food itself - the chicken was pretty good along with the barbecue sauce, the rice was good, and I liked the slaw but they do warn you that it's a vinegar based slaw which if you don't like vinegar you'll want to choose something else. Hosted an event on the second floor of Hop Lounge as an alternative to other local venues. If was a good space with accessible AV and great acoustics. While there was not a dedicated server (this would have been a nice touch) the unified was fast and met expectations. They have a great assortment of beer/libations and a very knowledgeable barkeep. read more

Hop Lounge is amazing. Stopped here on the way back from Tubing at the Madison River. It looks like they're building a master plan community around this. You order food downstairs and then go upstairs and order your beer on top. There is a bathroom downstairs upstairs. There is a huge inside area and also a patio. Food hit the spot! We got to pick two sauces each and a side with our sandwiches. All great! It's counter service and not table service so you don't feel smothered. Just a delightful stop. read more

Have been here many times always excellent. Today was the complete opposite. Came in no music no ambient noise, just the guy next to us chomping his nachos open mouthed. Not the Hop Lounges problem. Ordered food like normal and took a little longer than we are use to. No one from the bar came to take our order. Food came still no drinks. Asked the waitress who brought the food and she said "well we are busy." Walked to the bar got the bartenders attention and ordered drinks. Sat down to eat and the chicken sandwich had rock hard bread and cold fries with no seasoning. Not warm not warm ish, cold. Had to go back down stairs to ask for new ones. Just dropped on the table no apology. Several people around us having similar issues. One table even chanted to go to "Korner Klub" as they were leaving without service. Three stars because we know they can do better. Likely won't be back to see if it was a fluke, or like so many others, the level of service that can be expected. Excellent local Beer selection Excellent rotisserie chicken. Why 3 stars and not 5? Definitely need some vegetable dishes for the side choices for the rotisserie chicken meal. I'm a big fan but I don't go to Hop Lounge when I want Veggies which is usually what I want with my chicken meal. I'd go more often if it was offered with the side choices. How about roasted Broccoli or Brussel Sprouts or Asparagus. Something green besides the salad. You can upgrade to purchase an excellent salad but not having really good veggies as an option reduces the chicken meal from a 5 to a 4. I give 2 stars for the chicken sandwiches. They taste good but they are waaaay to small for the price. I felt like I didn't get my moneys worth. Went here after several coworkers had recommended it. All their food is chicken based for protein. I had the chicken, bacon, ranch (sandwich, roll?) with Cajun fries. It was delicious. You order downstairs and then go upstairs for a table. In the case you don't get food you can just go upstairs for drinks. They have a lot of local brews and good variety in their offerings. Prices were comparable to other local places. The upstairs was a little dark if that is something you don't like. They do have a couple large screens so you can watch any games that are on local channels. Overall good food and drinks though probably not a place I will frequent super often. read more
