Remodel to 'The Spur Saloon' ruined a really good thing. Fake western decor is one thing Bozeman does not need. Service is terrible. Food used to be fresh and hot, but no longer. Watched our order sit in pickup window while waitress messed around with other tasks within five feet of the window. Food was cold and fries were not fully cooked. Iced tea tasted like chemical water; not like fresh tea in the past. Waitress said that's how we make it now. Service was slow and absolutely not attentive. Now just another stop for the tourists. They got a lot going on here it's like 4-6 places in one connects to next door maybe they cut hair and do nails .You will go thirsty here for sure order everything at once it will be awhile before the only waitress in there will be back. It was my first time trying this place. We ordered a cowboy burger combo and the chicken Main Street salad. First off they forgot our drink that came with the combo. Then my fiancés burger, which was suppose to have bbq sauce, was plain with no condiments. To top it off my salad was pretty pitiful. The lettuce was wilted, they used sliced tomatoes like what you would have on a burger and the chicken was pretty cold, tasteless, and after biting into it I saw the chicken was cooked all the way through since it was pink inside. In town for the Gold Rush football game and this was the 1st food stop my bobcat player brought us to. I loved seeing all the support for MSU GoCatSGo!! We ordered buffalo, honey mango, & garlic parmesan wings, onion rings & cheesy tater tots. it was bomb!!! I have no clue what William S. is on about. This is a classic Bozeman fixture that does not put up any facade about what it is. It is a semi-classy eating establishment and that's all it claims to be! Our waitress was kind and attentive. Our food was exactly what we ordered and expected (not raw at all). There is a sign that states that the red neon lights may make the meat appear more rare than it is, perhaps that was the cause of some other experiences, because we did not have such a time. We've been coming to BB for years but after last night it may be the last time. Instead of the family atmosphere it has had in the past it has redecorated into a bar. With a huge bar replacing seating, it has limited the number of tables for families. With the change there has been a deterioration of service. Yes I know, help is hard to find. But have staffing that can actually clear a table, fill the catsup/mustard container, clean them off and most importantly listen to the orders and know what's on the order. Why I'm giving a 2 star review, upon entering, we weren't sure if we just sat down or waited to be seated as there was no signage to let us know, but we eventually grabbed a table. The first table we sat at was dirty, so we moved to a different table which then was super wobbly and eventually found a clean level table. The service was subpar which was surprising because there was only 3 other tables that had patrons. On the establishment's website going through Yelp, it shows 1/2 price appetizers on Thursdays, which I did show the server the website, which did show the Cannery and Burger Bob's and told us she would check on that (never did). Well when the check comes out, the server tells us that the 1/2 price appetizers did not apply to Burger Bob's, but did apply to the Cannery. If looking for subpar service, cleanliness, and food.
