We have driven past so many times and didn't even this place existed. We are so glad someone told us to try it! It was insanely busy, there were people everywhere waiting for their lunch. Our food was delicious I really enjoyed the turkey bacon club- wouldn't change anything. My husband had the muffetta & enjoyed the flavor the only comment he had was that it was very oily and could have used a little less, even eating it with the wrapper on, oil leaked out onto his jeans. Overall we enjoyed our experience & would love to come back, their donuts looked delicious as well! The only thing we noticed is the flow of the restaurant could be improved so it's not so chaotic, people don't really know where to go - it seems like the ordering spot should be at the other end rather than having people cut across the restaurant and tables where people are eating & they don't know where to line up- like I said it was very crowded but we will be back the food is great- just wish the flow of the place was more organized for a better experience. read more

Beef Tallow Donuts?! Say less. Lone Peak Provisions donuts have been popping up on my Instagram feed forever. It feels like everyone and their mamas were getting these donuts except me! Well, that didn't last long because I finally got my hands on them and they're so good! There are a few donut places in town but this sure stands out. Fried in beef tallow, these donuts fill your craving for a guilty pleasure without giving you that almost regrettable feeling after you eat them. They offer a nice variety of flavors but my stand outs have to be the original glazed, Nutella, and huckleberry. I thought I would really love the creme brulee but the cream inside had a strange sour tang to it that my palette did not enjoy. If you don't have a sweet tooth, Lone Peak Provisions also serves up very tasty smashburgers and beef tallow fries! A very reliable lunch spot for sure. read more

Stopped at Lone Peak Provisions in Bozeman on the way to the airport in early September as I left from my Montana trip. This spot has an intriguing combo of donuts and sandwiches, beef tallow and coffee. The shop is small, about five tables and a few bar stools, cozy and welcoming. We had smash burgers made from local beef and fresh potato chips. I could really taste the difference in the beef being just miles from where the cattle grazed. Lone Peak Provisions is a solid pit stop rather than a "date night" spot - or a spot to pick up dinner on your way home from their premade selections in the fridge case. The clientele was a mix--blue-collar workers grabbing carryout, a retired couple having lunch, and us out-of-region travelers stopping in on our way out. The woman behind the counter clearly knew her regulars, adding a personal, friendly touch. It's worth a short drive off the GPS route from Yellowstone to Bozeman. Be advised you may sense you're leaving town and going the wrong way. The area I suspect is growing into itself. Don't miss the amusing t-shirts hanging above the counter--they're a fun little bonus. For here, for takeaway, or for later, Lone Peak Provisions has it all! I'll be shocked if you leave with empty hands or an empty belly. The space is set up deli counter style with an assortment of fresh made salads, donuts and other goodies as well as a fresh food menu to order from for breakfast lunch. They also have giant freezers full of pre-made meals. There are tables available to sit and enjoy there should you wish (but I prefer to eat back ay the house where no one knows how many of those donuts were actually just for me, ha!). As a new mom, I come for the tallow-fried donuts, stay for fresh lunch, and usually take soup and/or pot pies home for later. What a dream! Great to have in Four Corners. read more

Visiting from the DMV. Stopped in just before close on a Friday, got a single Smashburger which was devoured in moments. Had a Huckleberry fountain soda to wash it down. I can't think of a better way to fuel up before a trip to Big Sky. They have everything that you could need before you hit the slopes, and then a few things that you didn't even know you wanted. Beef fat donuts? Not even sure what those are, but I'll take a dozen. The donuts themselves taste incredible, and are a work of art. You can tell that whoever is baking these cares about the product that they're putting out. We got a peanut butter donut, and what I think was an Oreo donut. Both were packed with flavor and light enough where I could eat 20. They also have all kinds of creative breakfast sandwiches. Mine was a chorizo, egg and cheese with a delectable chipotle sauce. I think I ate it in 4 bites because I couldn't put it down. I'm not sure if I will ever be in Bozeman again, but if I am, I will for sure stop here. read more

We drove 20 minutes to eat here based on pictures I saw of the Rueben sandwich and was not disappointed. My mother and I shared it along with a small order of deviled egg potato salad. $21 total wasn't bad for both of us to have lunch. Small little deli style spot. This was the first place we stopped after getting off the plane. We were tired and hungry but dreaming of their Smashburger. This is one of the best smash burgers you'll ever have. We absolutely loved it. It's a very small sandwich shop with high-end donuts. I wasn't a fan of the Donuts the doughnut look beautiful, but lacked flavor. Noticed this place on my way from the airport and was familiar with the business as a local caterer. Glad to see they have a store front now. Mostly burgers and curated sandwiches along with some prepackaged to go items. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and am still thinking about it. Should have gotten a picture but forgot.
