This is a fun treat at four corners in Bozeman. The food was hot and fresh. The chicken nuggets were tasty and spice well. They provided sauces for everything in proportion. Came on a Friday at 645 to grab some dinner. The last order they take is at 7pm. The customer service was good until we got to the window the young lady seemed so annoyed and irritated. We got a 1/4 burger and 1/2 double burger, sweet potatoes fries and 6 piece chicken nuggets. The burgers tasted like absolutely nothing. :( they needed to be seasoned, we asked for well done and they were completely pink, the fries weren't cooked all the way, and the chicken nuggets were plain. I really wish I could give BB more than three stars, especially because I love small, old school burger joints, but there is just too much room for improvement to ignore. The burgers are good, not great. The fries are good (if awfully soggy and oily), but not great. And the shakes are good, but wholly unremarkable. I won't kid you. There is almost always a line at the drive through for dinner. But they've got a hard stop 7:30 pm "final order" rule and in May they converted to a 2:00 pm closing time. I'm sure this is meant to accommodate the staff and yet this is a restaurant trying to turn a profit, right? There just aren't that many burgers shacks in Four Corners or even in the entire Gallatin Valley and, as such, I'm sure they'll continue to do just fine. On our summer road trip, we ducked in to Best Burgers to sample their wares after a brief stop for gasoline betrayed that my three kids were hungry after a few hours in the car and an Idaho breakfast. In short, this place makes a great burger! I had one with cheese and mushrooms, while the kids variably took things off their burgers (lettuce, tomato, etc.) and put it on my paper wrapper. Bonus-- free mini salad. My eldest had a bacon cheeseburger and didn't give me a thing, except a few satisfied grunts of approval between big bites. A few orders of fries and fountain drinks rounded out our short meal on the Highway shoulder, and we were eastbound and down again in no time-- tummies full and Bozeman in the rear view. I pulled up at 6:47 PM to the intercom to place my order. The car in front of me was already up at the window and I sat waiting in silence for over 10 minutes. During this time I tried calling twice yet it went straight to voicemail. Frustrated I drove up to the window at 6:58 and said that I have been sitting back there waiting to order. The LAZY MOUTH BREATHING Ginger at the window told me that his clock said 7:04 and there are no exceptions and then proceeded to slam the window closed in my face! I know for a fact that it was not 7 PM yet! I know for a fact that the grill in flat top were still on! And I know for a fact that they knew I was sitting back there waiting to order, YET, TOO LAZY to even acknowledge me on the intercom! The burgers and fries have never been all that fantastic but since we live in a food desert, sometimes we take what we can get. Never again best burger shame on you! Mama Mac's is a long standing deli with homemade bread, sweets and smiles. The Buck just west of the intersection offers fresh pizza and sandwiches with a drive thru and indoor seating. The Latin mercado just east is amazing for take and warm. North west is Jersey Mikes with fast and friendly customer service! They even made me a fresh sub one day when I accidentally called the wrong store and didn't charge me twice. Mr. Burrito has a late evening drive through and great customer service. Stopped by on a road trip after going to our original destination and finding it closed. It was around 3:30 pm on a Saturday and the drive-thru line was suuuuuper long so we went inside. Got a bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions. Fantastic. Bun was pillowy soft. You order a burger for $5 and pay extra for cheese, bacon and other certain toppings. Also got waffle fries with ranch. Any place that serves waffle fries gets my vote and the ranch was delicious. Seemed homemade. I also got a chocolate malt. Any place that offers a malt as an option also gets my vote. They have a variety of shake/malt flavors and come in three sizes. I only bought the malt because I could get a small size (not many places offer small as an option) and the small started at $2.50. My husband and I stopped for a shake today and when we tried to pick it up the lid came off. The lid slid down inside and milkshake was gushing out the top. I used to recommend this place to everyone that cam into the museum. Stopped in tonight to get myself a burger and one for an older lady that can't get around any more. You can't go inside to order so had to wait 20 minutes in the drive through. Asked for each order in a separate bag so I could drop one off and they refused. When I got to the window was charged almost 3% rouse my card. I'm not interested in paying your operating costs. This place is no longer a friendly Montana business that you come to expect here. They reminded me of the burgers of my childhood when someone just pressed some ground beef and tossed it over the flames of a grill and cooked it until a char formed. Similarly, the buns were the classic grocery store variety, not what I'd expect when going out for a decent burger. The burger toppings (tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles) were all fresh and enjoyable. Among the times I've been to Best Burger, the French fries (I tried the fresh cut fries, sweet potato fries, and fast food fries) were under-cooked and not seasoned. I ordered a 'large' fry and a 'regular sized' fry for the family, and they were the same size (small)! I thought it was just a fluke, but I've seen it happen there multiple times. If you go out to Best Burger, save your money and just order a regular sized fry. The fries were too soggy for my taste. As another reviewer mentioned, the oil was not hot enough. The fried jalapeño topping was the same - deep fried, yet soggy and greasy. The only other comment I have on Best Burger is that they make the milkshakes at the counter as soon as people order them. I've been searching for the best burger in Bozeman for the last month. I've tried all the established spots (Burger Bob's, Ted's, Copper) and I've had some very good burgers, but none that I would unequivocally call "the best". Then I had a quick lunch at a new place in Four Corners called Best Burger. Now normally I'm a little suspicious of any restaurant with the word "best" in their name, but I have to say that, after several more visits, I'm comfortable claiming that I have found the best burger experience in the Bozeman area. Some details. They are open for lunch and dinner. They are located in a tiny little bungalow right next to the Thriftway gas station on the South-East corner of Four Corners. There isn't a lot of seating and it's been very busy every time I've gone, but I never seem to have trouble getting a table (so don't be discouraged if it looks super packed). Parking can be a bit of a challenge. They accept cash and cards. And the staff is very friendly. Now the food. You can probably find a more finely crafted burger at 14 North or Ale Works. You can probably find burgers with fancier toppings at Copper or Ted's. But I'm sure you won't find a better tasting burger and fries (particularly not for $9 total...including a drink) than the one at Best Burger. The menu is straightforward (pick a double or single and what toppings you want). My favorite combo so far is a single with swiss cheese and fried jalapeños. And the fresh-cut fries are simply amazing. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the more times I go, the more I'm convinced that this place is very aptly named. read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I have been going to Best Burger since they have opened and know about the one in Butte, Montana. I like the place other then all the up charges. After a long day on Hebgen lake and hour and half drive back to four corners decided to stop and grab a burger. The time was 6:45pm with about a 5 car wait. I saw the sign that read 7pm last drive thru order. So I decided to park and go inside to order . When I got to the door the sign read drive thru only open 7 am to 7pm. I get back in my car and back in the drive thru line with one car from where I would have been in line. I pull up to order at 6:58 at the menu sign and wait watching the car that should have been my car get their order. Waiting at speaker /menu to be greeted and order. I watch a man grab his tip bucket and close the window. So I pulled up to see if I could order .He opens the window and says in a not nice voice " We ARE Closed" and I said " I was at the menu at 6:58". He said "On his clock it says 7:05 and there are no exceptions we're closed" and closes the window. What ever happened to the customer is always right ? and Why doesn't the the angry ginger who should just should give up on life put some sort of closed sign at 7PM in front of the drive thru? I mean all I wanted was a simple bacon cheesburger and curly fries. I'm not some fat house wife in a Black Escalade with a 20 burger, 20 french fry and 10 milk shake order because she is to lazy to cook for family that I we all have had to deal with in this drive thru. I know the flat top was still hot and I had to listen to the lazy ginger on how he couldn't help a long time customer and maybe get a extra 2 bucks in his tip jar in two minutes. But no he had cop a bad attitude like he's closing a dive bar in Bozeangeles. Hello Folks! This operation produces a great product. So much so that I drove 40 plus miles with the thought of having one of their burgers on my way home. I pulled in at 6:58 knowing they closed at 7:00. The drive through was blocked with traffic cones, and an employee emptying trash. I politely requested, "could I still get a burger?" as it was 6:58. I also explained that I had driven just a bit to have their awesome product. After a little while, he pulled his iPhone from his back pocket and explained that it was now indeed 7:00 PM, and "he did not make the rules...." I made the comment that they are good guys, and better than that... My point: These people really don't care about their customers, and product they advertise. I WILL NEVER BE BACK, and WAS a loyal customer since the day they opened their doors. Good riddance.... There are plenty of other places to go folks.... McDonald's has the decency to put a sign up in the drive thru and tell people coming through that they're closed. We instead got nothing, 1 minute after supposedly closing. We loved this place! The staff wasn't very professional and they brought out my shake late. But the burgers were awesome! I was embarrassed with how fast I ate mine but it was really just so good. Also their water was very cold and refreshing. The seating area wasn't very big though. It would have been nice if they made some outside seating available. And if they had gotten rid of the eyesore covered in a tarp outside of their place. I'm sure this place would be more popular if they cleaned up a bit. read more
