So I have absolutely no complaints about the food. We are not drinkers and so didn't partake in what this restaurant is known for but everyone around us looks like they were having a good time drinking beer. We did have the Beer cheese pretzel bites, which were delicious and both of our dinners were worth having again. It is a little bit pricey for an every day or even frequent stop for us, so be aware, but was delicious Wheelchair accessibility: we had a little bit of difficulty finding parking as this is downtown, but we were able to locate an accessible parking spot. There is an elevator that you take up to the restaurant and it was easy to find and publicly accessible, no sending somebody to find a manager with a key. The bathroom doors were heavy, but they had a long handle/grab bar that made it easier to open despite its weight. The seating in the room where you order was picnic table style, but they did have a table with a wheelchair accessible spot that worked well. We were so excited to try this restaurant after reading about them in the Bozeman magazine. We ordered the sampler platter for 30.00 and the chicken schnitzel sandwich. Here are some pictures. I was super impressed with everything from the food to the vibe to the service at gute laune. The brats from Daniels and Pioneer Meats are the obvious star, but I would definitely save room for the applestrudel again! I loved how many local producers are highlighted on their menu. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere, there is a bar and dining sides that have a bathroom in the middle. The service was amazing for a 5:45 on a Saturday in Bozeman. The food was beyond amazing, this may be the best place in Bozeman. The special short ribs were delicious and wonderful- highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience. I'm only giving 2 stars because I feel bad giving it 1. I went during the middle of the day, and other than myself and my friend there were only 2 small groups of busy. It was genuinely slow but with how terrible the service was you would've thought it was the 4th of July. I saw our server twice (when she took our order and when we left). The food was fine, nothing to go crazy for and definitely not genuine German food. Upon ordering, I asked for a Shirley Temple. When I received it, I thought it was the wrong drink bc there was lemon in there. I asked the server if she had accidentally made the wrong drink bc it tasted like a huckleberry lemonade... a Shirley temple shouldn't taste remotely like huckleberry lemonade. She looked at me and said, "You're wrong" quite loudly at that (everyone in the restaurant turned and looked btw) and said I ordered the "Not your Shirley" or whatever it's called. I actually ordered a Shirley temple. As someone who has worked in the industry, she should've asked what we could do to correct it. Idk that I'll ever be back, very disappointed in my experience. What a great place! Very nice atmosphere, great food and drink and very helpful staff! We split the grill platter and it was excellent. We had the garlic brat, jalapeño cheddar brat and the bison brat. Great beer selection, comfortable seating and great food and staff....we'll be going back!! read more

Solid German style brats in a very well decorated restaurant. Lived in Germany many years, felt right at home.
