Shrimp in onion and ginger sauce

5 stars! Great addition to the neighborhood. There are not too many Vietnamese cuisine restaurants in Bay Ridge and this one checks all the boxes. Great food, prices, selection, large clean well decorated space, courteous and helpful staff and well organized. We were immediately greeted by Daniel our server who was well informed, very polite and explained all the dishes we asked about. They have only been open about a few months and I hope the neighborhood supports them. They have 125 dishes to choose from. They have Rice Noodle Beef soups, pan fried noodle dishes, appetizers, vermicelli dishes, soup, Do Bien Seafood, Bo beef dishes, House Special Dishes, Heo Pork dishes, Ga Chicken dishes, vegetable dishes, vegetarian dishes, casseroles, Com Dia Rice dishes, Trang Meing desserts, Bubble Tea,Smoothies , Fresh juices, and Giai Khat beverages. We started with the Com Ga Nurong grilled chicken with white rice and shrimp with fried rice. Also had fresh squeezed juice which is called Cough- carrot, pineapple and ginger. Mains were Bo Luc Lac Marinated beef cubed sautéed with onions. We also had Tom Ram Man Or Xanh which is sautéed shrimp with little salt, peppers onions and oyster sauce. We had the shrimp fried rice. All the dishes were of a good size and easily shareable. I would highly recommend Hola La Pho and will definitely recommend them.

Lychee bubble tea (Pass on that unless you like milky drinks), Brisket Pho & Chicken Pho (bottom).

Interesting take on Pho. The service was good & ambiance, nice..we loved the big portions! My Pho Ga (Chicken) glad it was made with chicken broth (unfortunately some places make chicken pho w/beef broth), it had plenty of veggies, I really liked & appreciated that but I needed to add a lot of hoisin sauce to my chicken pho to add flavor. My Fiancé got the Beef Short Rib, which he liked. My Lychee bubble tea (I ordered without tapioca pearls) I didn't read anything about milk in it, so I was disappointed when I got it & it tasted like a "frothy ice milk" with a HINT of Lychee. I'd pass on that drink. Overall experience wasn't bad, so we'd definitely go again. It's nice to see a Vietnamese restaurant in the area besides the usual.

Great place to dine! Made a reservation for 11 family members (ranging from 4 to 75 years of age) for lunch. We all finished our plates. Highlights were the OG Big Bowl, Spring Rolls, Pork Chop Vermicelli, Grilled Beef Vermicelli, and Grilled Pork Slices over Rice.

A good attempt at emulating tasty Vietnamese cuisine. Everything is sparkly and new. Their dishes, the sauces, etc but unfortunately the pho broth was extremely bland, it felt like having boiled water with noodles and a sad 3 slices of the thinnest brisket you'd ever find (that's not a compliment by the way). We tried the shrimp & pork spring rolls 6 pcs for 18.95 - it was fried nicely but again, tasteless and bland. The pork texture was also a bit off putting, slightly mushy inside. The staff was nice and the ambience is decent, different from what you'd expect from a Vietnamese restaurant. I might give it another try to test other dishes out but sad to say I won't be back if I am craving a hot umami flavored bowl of pho!

This place just opened up a few weeks ago and I came and gave it a try on a rainy day. The service is great from the moment you step in you're greeted with smiles and since it was early no one was inside. I like the feel to the place as they are very attentive and the decor is nice. I have to say this is the best beef Pho I've had since a place I go to in Montreal Canada! The beef Pho is hands down the best I've had and now has gained a new true customer. Can't wait to come back and become a regular

The aunties are mentioned often in other reviews, and that's because they're amazing. They'll gladly explain what you need, especially when it comes to the super tasty (and extremely inexpensive) deserts that populate racks and the drink fridges here. Some are sweet, some are sour (the deserts, that is), they'll let you know. Honesty since a cake here is $5, you can afford to try everything! How on to the main reason that you came, the Banh Mi. You literally can't go wrong with any of the eight main sandwiches here. I've tried them all so you don't have to, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. The bread is crispy, the ingredients are super fresh, and the tastes combine perfectly. The decor is perfect for this kind of spot. No frills. There are three tables and a bunch of chairs. It's exactly what I want in a takeout type place. They concentrate on the food. So, to wrap this one up. Go. I'd say that I'll be back, but I've been coming here for years. If you haven't, it's time to start.

All four dishes were delicious, and I would highly recommend the spring rolls and beef pho. The beef pho broth had deep flavor, and the noodles had a great, chewy texture and were different from the typical pho noodles in Vietnamese restaurants. The pho is also served with their homemade sriracha and hoisin sauce. The beef slices in the pho were a bit dry and overcooked, but I would still recommend you try the pho here; it was delicious. The spring rolls were big and packed with filling. We really enjoyed them! The fish lettuce wrap platter and pork skewer platter were exactly the same with the exception of the protein. The platters come with rice paper wrappers that you dip into water for 30 seconds, lettuce, mint, basil, cilantro, pickled radish and carrot, and cucumbers. The platters were good but also seems like something you can easily make yourself at home. The fish was a bit dry and overcooked, but the pork skewers were well made. Although I really enjoyed the food here, it wasn't special enough for me to want to return to dine here. Service: Service was excellent, and staff were friendly. At 5pm, we were the first party of 2 to arrive, and soon after, three other parties came after us. I'm not sure why the hostess chose to seat all four parties in one small corner of the restaurant while the rest of the restaurant was completely empty. Tables were placed very closely together, and seating was a bit tight. It seemed odd to seat everyone in one corner even when the restaurant was clearly not filling up. Ambiance: The ambiance and decor is lovely here. Seating is very comfortable, and the place is beautiful. It's well-lit and has a nice outdoor garden feel with plenty of sunlight. The restaurant is pretty big with tables for both small and large groups. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant!

They weren't too busy then so I got seated pretty much immediately. As I entered Di An Di, I know that they pay attention to their decors a lot. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I got the pho which I feel like it's a 3/5. The noodles were good, bouncy and chewy. Other than that, I feel like the price is too high to justify the meat and the broth. The broth and meat feels like I could get this elsewhere for $15 max but the price doubled here. I'm sure there are other dishes that are good, but this review is only for the pho.
