Coconut Green Curry Lamb Shank - yum!
    Anna S.

Everything we ordered here was so delicious! I also love their outdoor patio seating at the back of the restaurant. I highly recommend booking patio seating if the weather is nice. We ordered: - Banh Xeo: Vietnamese crepe with shrimp - Unshaking beef - Green curry with lamb shank - Maple glazed duck - Cripsy Brussels Sprouts The Banh Xeo is the best I've had! They are so generous with the portion size and the ingredient they add in there. The jumbo shrimps were so juicy. The Brussels Sprouts were seasoned and fried to perfection. I don't know what sauce they used but it's so addicting. All the main meat dishes tasted very fresh as well - with its own unique sauce. Every bite bursted with flavor and texture. I will definitely be back! This is one of those places that you would want to take your friends when they visit.

More of a fusion-y place but everything was very well seasoned and tasty. Their portions are big so be careful! We had the crab dumplings which was a starter but I think came with 8-10 dumplings on a bed of salad with a soy sauce-y dressing. Eggplant salad was good, with more of a vinaigrette dressing. Banhxeo was not bad either. There was two of us and we also got the lamb belly buns which we likely didn't need. Very rich but tasty. Wait staff was very friendly and gave good recs. Glad we came to try this place. They have a cool back lower room that I wish we got to sit in

I've been coming here since 2022. It is a very unique place in its atmosphere and twist on the Vietnamese cuisine. They have consistently been welcoming from the host to the servers. The food has consistently been great. The atmosphere is unique with options to eat inside or outside; GO OUTSIDE! The decor has an old skool vibe with such a laid back ambience. I love all the foods here. Try it all to see what you like. I love the slow cooked lamb rolls and the caramelized shrimp pot. The ingredients are always fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend this place; you won't be disappointed! Make a reservation!!!!

Great food! Love the vibe too. I'd also recommend most of the appetizers. They were all solid.

An aptly named fixture in the Park Slope food scene with relics such as vintage clocks and tube TV's tastefully adorning the patio. The servers treat you like family with warm smiles all around. The refreshing daytrader cocktail is a frozen gin lemonade flavored with Thai basil. The pork belly buns with hoisin sauce and slow-cooked lamb buns with sriracha aioli are bursting with flavor. The duck came highly recommended and lived up to the hype with a lip smacking maple glaze and taro purée. The red snapper was an adventure to debone but had a rich gingery lime zest.

Really loved this spot - beautiful and vibey + delicious food. Went for brunch and sat in the back - such cool decor and great menu. Loved the drinks and the food, would skip dessert next time though. Really recommend the unshaken beef & eggs for brunch! Service was slow but it was a slow day and we were seated in the back.

A thoughtful Vietnamese spot in Park Slope. Cozy and comfortable ambience It's definitely the priciest Viet food I've tried, but the service and food were pretty excellent. I came with a group, and we got many dishes to share, including: Ceviche, Pho Ga, shaking beef, cumin chicken, and hawker noodles. The beef was super delicious and a great cut -- though the watercress that accompanied it wasn't as well received as was very bitter. We were three people, and I really appreciated how the staff actually served the pho ga dish in three small bowls, with some noodles and spice and chicken in each! It made it miles easier to share the food and was just a very thoughtful touch.

Brunch for two on Sunday. It was fairly empty at 11:30am which was nice as we could hear ourselves talk. Later, it started getting pretty noisy to the point we had to start talking much louder. The ambiance is cute and cozy with props taking you into a bygone era. We ordered the unshaking beef and eggs, and the coconut milk French toast. The unshaking beef with garlic butter Thai chili sauce, with rosemary potatoes was the clear winner. The coconut milk French toast with brioche was also a nice complement to the savory dish. All in all, I would return to try their dinner menu options.

Bricolage was a nice find in the neighborhood. It wasn't too busy but we did have a reservation. The menu alone made me know I wanted to come back to try more things. And then the food confirmed it. We got a couple of dishes and they were great including the unshaking steak and eggs and one of their specialty rice dishes. We also got the French toast and it was just right! I want more of that French toast! The drinks were also quite good. The ambiance is interesting as it has a lot of old timey and tiny tvs all over. I like the vibe. The food smells good when you walk in but not overpowering. Will be back for more.

I can't believe I've never written a review about this place. It's definitely one of the top 3 restaurants in Park Slope and definitely one of the best in the city. I've been here several times, and here are some of my favorite things about it: - There are actual mixologists working here, so the cocktails are great. - The back yard area is one of the coolest-decorated places I've seen in the entire city. - The retro TVs in the bathroom make you feel like you're stepping into a time machine - all details are accounted for here. - But most of all, the FOOD. It's always great. Whether you come here for dinner or brunch. I've tried almost everything on the dinner menu and there has never been anything that wasn't outstanding. I've also met the chef, Lien Lin, on one visit here, who is from Vietnam, and she is lovely. Came here for brunch this weekend for the first time and of course everything was outstanding. We ordered: - The Thai Basil Gimlet: always a good decision - Crispy Imperial Rolls appetizer: phenomenal - House Salmon Potato Cake brunch special: delicious and so was the cider that came with the meal - My friend ordered the Banh Xeo and loved it. I will continue to patronize this place as long as it's around.

Walked in randomly and sat in the back outdoor covered patio area. It reminded me of Stranger Things and the lab from the movie Back to the Future - retro with random TVs. Very untraditional, interesting and surprisingly comfy. Service is fast, and friendly. Music is very chill and funky. Perfect mood and volume for a random Sunday (I find music is so important for your dining experience). I wanted to share something light with my sister, and there are so many options for brunch/ lunch. Cocktails were delicious. We tried a coffee based and fresh/ smoky mezcal cocktail. Shrimp was delicious. Noodles were well made and al dente. Altogether a really good experience.

Amazing modern Vietnamese place with huge backyard sheets!! You should definitely make a reservation first. If you wanna be there on the weekend. It was packed but not too noisy which is great. We couldn't get an outside table at that moment but they let us know when they opened and took us to the best sheet :)They are so kind!! It was all amazing, the drinks are fresh and tasty! My favorite is Thai Basil Gimlet. We started off with Papaya Salada, Crispy Imperial Rolls and Five Spice Chicken Wings! I ordered them for table and my friends were all happy with tasty bites! Especially people who aren't so familiar with Viet's food, you are not gonna regret it!! For the mains, got Shrimp claypot and Cajan Spice slow roasted short ribs (weekly special) both are wonderful but just a little bit salty! But overall, the experience was great and had a fun time with friends. Absolutely come back for brunch menu soon!

Spent a friends birthday dinner at this fine establishment in Brooklyn. We googled best patio restaurants in Brooklyn and decided to go with this spot which was such a vibe!!! The inside was stunning with a bunch of antique little pieces all around. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and all our food was brought out in record timing. We ordered a bunch of things to share and may i say everything was DELICIOUS!! We got the pork bao buns and the meat was tender and delish - literally couldn't stop eating it. the tofu wontons shockingly were so flavorful and also a hit i usually dont like tofu but the way it was made here made it taste like chicken. definitely need to come back and come hungry because portions are generous! def recommending to friends and family - will be back!

I also had multiple chums from Brooklyn endorsing this spot, so everything seemed to be lining up for an excellent night. Unfortunately, I'm starting to think you just can't go to places like this on a Tuesday, but maybe it was just a bad night. I got here way before my chum due to our work schedules, literally 45 minutes or so. It wasn't 6pm yet and while there were definitely customers in both the bar area and the backyard outdoor section, it was pretty chill. I was able to secure a small table next to the bar right by the open window in the front (probably because the sun was glaring down on it, which wasn't an issue 10 minutes later) and just chilled out for a while, enjoying the excellent warm weather. This was the highlight of the experience, which unfortunately my chum did not get to enjoy. A lot of this was just unfortunate timing, I think. As I was waiting for my chum, people were practically streaming into the bar, probably about 25 or so, which I watched with increasing trepidation. Pretty much all of them wanted a drink, and there was only one bartender. They did not fix that problem until well into my chum's visit, so there was literally just the one guy making a gazillion drinks for about 45 minutes. Just no reason for that at all, especially given that they DID have the resources to divert and had a young woman back there at a certain point. But once I saw how crazy it was getting, I tried to pre-emptively order a second round, which he forgot about and had to ultimately be reminded of. It took literally half an hour to get the second drink. When my chum arrived, she went up to the bar to order her own drink and some of the arancini. She came back 10 minutes later and said she wasn't given the opportunity - THAT is completely insane. If you're so swamped that customers have to wait that long to even order much less get their drinks, you need help. Not clear where the disconnect was, but what started out as a great experience pretty much crash landed. Really disappointing. The crowd did thin out ultimately but the damage had been done. We were able to get the drinks but didn't bother with the additional app because we didn't want to risk missing a big chunk of the Nets game. So by not being even remotely attentive for a significant period of time, they left money on the table. I will say that the bartender himself maintained his professionalism throughout, and just kept making the drinks. Pretty much the opposite of what would have happened on Bar Rescue. This was on management, not the bartender. The drinks WERE good, which also made the service problems a shame. I got the Witch Doctor, which featured bourbon, rosemary, maple and lemon. Really well made, and appropriate for the unseasonably warm evening - it's the kind of bourbon cocktail made for summer. Would absolutely get that again. And the food was very solid. The star of the night was the arancini, which were featured prominently on the apps menu right at the time and promoted as one of their big selling points - deservedly so. These were honestly some of the best rice balls I've had. The cheese in the middle emphasized the flavors and wasn't too dense or overwhelming, the balls were cooked perfectly, and the sauce (the underrated part of rice balls for me) was delicious. Huge recommend. I also got a margarita flatbread to share with my chum, and that was good as well. Everything was going to come up short to the arancini, but it hit the spot. As mentioned, this was a random Tuesday night when maybe they don't have their full crew ready to rock. Maybe it was a fluke crowd surge? I just don't know, but the bottom line was that they weren't prepared for the customers who came in and were already there, and that's a big problem. If you can't deliver the same quality that you do on the weekends and predictably busier times, then you shouldn't be open that early in the week. Hopefully they figure it out because there's a lot to like here.

I've made it a point to visit every vinyl listening bar that I learn of in town, after enjoying the shared experience of someone curating a select vinyl list in intimate spaces in Tokyo. Few have been able to replicate the experience, but Honeycomb Hi Fi Lounge comes close. That the space is narrow with just a few seats along the bar and a few tables mimics the Japanese experience best, where you can almost have it so the whole room is having one conversation together. The music is the focus. The cocktail menu is rather simple, and my Stormbringer drink, with dark rum and ginger beer was not anything to write home about, but $15 is pretty low for cocktails these days so I'll take it. If they introduced new cocktails to the menu with more interesting ingredients I'd be more inclined to return, but the vibes overall are pretty good and the staff really nice.

My friend and I each order a cocktail, and are catching up. I'm from Brooklyn, however I no longer live here, and this was precious catch-up time with my friend. Then I get interrupted mid-sentence by the old-timer DJ from his low seat in a corner behind the bar. I had bumped the bar with my wrist (bumped my wrist watch as well, not deliberately) and then placed my hand down (granted- more than placed but definitely not slammed), and he decided to warn me that I COULD HAVE made his record skip. It was the Eagles or Santana (far from eclectic, but that's just me). I'm also 99% certain he turned the volume up afterwards, making it even harder to enjoy the company. After that interaction, I struggled to pick it back up with my friend, because I found that distraction very effing rude. When this "4th wall" gets broken down with service, it is hard to then enjoy the space in an uninhibited state. I am all for the Tokyo Vinyl Bar vibe, and I'm also for also giving talent an outlet to share their collection, but this interaction colored my experience, and I closed out after one drink and went elsewhere. I mentioned this to the bartender, and he was kind to offer a buy-back of a rare whiskey, which I did accept. 5 stars for the bartender, but 1 for my experience. I don't like to be harsh or unnecessarily cruel, but this is what it is. I have visited in the past and enjoyed myself. Nonetheless, I certainly won't be coming back.
