Came for the first time over the weekend. This place is huge and has multiple places for dining, sitting & having a drink, etc. There was some confusion about where we were going to be seated and who was taking us. After that was resolved, everything was great. The chicken fried chicken was so good and not a huge portion. Loved the macaroni & cheese and mashed potatoes. Gorgeous ambiance & decor. We attended a seminar tonight and the restaurant provided a free buffet in a private conference room. When we got to the end of the buffet there was a container full of ice and beer sitting at end of buffet pans. No sign. So we took two beers. Ready to leave standing at elevator waiter came over and said we owed for the two beers. He said we owed $14.00 for the two beer and gratuity 5.00 since we sitting at large table of people. No one took our order for the beers or served us the beers. We feel we were set up and taken. We will never attend this restaurant and it was our first time. Also no free valet either but charged a fee. Most places have free valet and then u tip the driver. Although I really do not like someone driving my car. read more

First of all I'd like to start by saying that the environment is very beautiful it's got a western ballroom classy ambience that's romantic but also very fun. When I walked into the restaurant I was walking in to meet people who already were there I was NOT greeted at the front desk at all by four different employees who were standing around and looking a little aimlessly as if they didn't know what they were doing. I then asked the bar if there was another seating section because I couldn't find my party and she was kind enough to escort upstairs so I could find my party and get seated. Our waitress was very kind and she took my order and the food came out great there were a few things that were missing and things we had to wait on which is sometimes expected with a brand new restaurant opening that's only been open for this long but there were no accommodations made, no extra mile for the guests, nothing made me really want to return... the food was delicious BUT I will say that the restaurant could definitely benefit from properly training and preparing everybody they've hired with the proper etiquette or looking for a more charismatic staff who like they want to be there. Our waitress was wonderful but everybody else including the bar crew upstairs, looked a little aloof and lost, they didn't know how to properly welcome guest into a restaurant or lead with confidence in the place I was dining in. On a side note I was trying to take a simple photo of my champagne with the background in the back in a clear shot and one of the MALE bartenders (from the upstairs bar) looked me in the eye and completely walked in front of my camera without any consideration of what I was doing as a customer trying to post a new photo of the restaurant ... I'm never a person to complain about photos in public places because they are public places and I know people are at work but the restaurant was RARELY busy and for a restaurant that's only been open for a month and for the back to back faint disappointments in the service and the promptness of when the food was served I would hope that the employees would try to at least show some consideration, kindness, and over all manners. After I was finished, I went downstairs and again by three different employees at the front desk was I not said A WORD, no "thank you for dining with us" ,"have a good one" , nothing. read more

we use to go here a few months back. We really liked the place and also told a few of my vendors about the place and the great potential this place has to do events there. Never had issues with this place. We used to just sit downstairs in the bar waiting area and chat, drinks and dinner. Well on Friday ( our normal date night) we wanted to go back here since we have not been in a while and wanted to sit outside. Got there at 6:30 went upstairs and got to the patio area. the waiter took a minute to get there but we weren't in a big rush. Wife order an old fashion and i ordered a smoked old fashion and order queso. took a minute to get our drinks, but the waiter came back gave my wife her old fashioned and told me that they ran out of the wood chips and couldn't make the old fashioned and drop off a regular old fashioned. didn't give me a choice if i wanted that or something else. Ok, i kinda didn't mind, still waiting at this point for the chip and queso. Never saw him again until about 20 minutes later after he dropped off the first round of drinks. when we got there it wasn't that busy, but by now it got a little busier. we are about 30 odds minutes into this and the queso still never showed up and he hasn't really been back to take our order. We are HUNGRY at that point. 40 minutes into this still nothing so I said cancel the app and give us our check. he was like ok. another bartender came over at this point and was going to check us out. told her what happen and she was like I am so sorry, let me get the manager, my face shouldn't be the last you see on your bad experience. 15 minutes later STILL nothing, so I went in said screw the manager just give me the check so we can leave. We are hungry and no one wants to take care of us. Paid and about to leave. when the manager comes over and asking if things was ok. As the manager and i were trying to talked he kept trying to keep us, I already told him we want to leave cause we were hungry. he said yeah Queso shouldn't take that long. I said we have been waiting for a manger for 15 minutes (giving I am seeing him chatting and laughing with another customer) he said he would expedite our food if we stayed, i am no that is not what we wanted. we just wanted to leave. he kept trying to keep us there gave me his card. ok this is what got me, he was like sorry it was busy, i am like no when we got here the patio was half empty, plus it shouldn;t take 45 minutes to get apps. he said well it was a Friday night and they are all like that. I am no, they are NOT all like that. ok back to the waiter, the guy is a hefty guy, but he need to learn to do better with his dressing. his clothes is all coming out and is a little messy. His attitude was kinda of like he doesn't care. Not really wanting to be there, i do feel that service there is bad. Cause my wife was telling me that other tables were complaining too. the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. I do not feel like I will come back, do not want to suggest this place to my vendors either, as i do not want them to have bad experience taking other customers here. read more

Loved everything about Haywire. I took my mom here for lunch. It's definitely a western style where the servers were western attire to boot! I had the house salad, which I'm not even kidding, was one of the FRESHEST salads I've had in a long time. I also had the brisket sandwich, which was buttery and cheesy and all the things. Very good place indeed! Went on a Friday night and the place was buzzing. Ample parking in the attached garage or you can valet in front of the restaurant, which is complimentary. Arrived on time for a reservation, but table was not ready so had to wait about 5 minutes. Food was fantastic as were the cocktails! A cup of venison chili is more like 2 cups and it was very tasty and not too spicy for a hot summer evening. Double-cut pork chop was superb, juicy and cooked perfectly. Ribs were amazing and fall-off-the-bone tender. Decor is very nice. Service was a tad slow - likely due to the newness of the place, but not a show stopper. Will I go back? Definitely!! read more

First of all we went to this place for my cousin's birthday. It took 2 hours for majority of us to get our food. It took longer than that for me and my cousin to get our food. This place took up my whole day waiting for food, I could've done so many other things. And keep in mind I've been to so many restaurant parties with a lot of people but none have taken this long. So finally my cousin got her food but she didn't even like it and said it was soggy. I was the only one without food after that, and the waitress said they were remaking my fries. Like come on you could have already delivered my food instead of taking 3 million years. The food was decent for everyone else which is why I have it 2 stars instead of 1. Super disappointed. Arrived at reservation time- celebrating a birthday. We were sat at a table for 8?? As we sat we shared it was just us 2 as indicated in reservation. As we waited for someone to help us it was clear no one was coming. There were about 10 servers/staff hanging out with one another and 3 tables with patrons in the dining area. After about 10 minutes a lady - I believe the manager- came to the table to tell us we were seated in the wrong area. We stated we thought so, she then said the hostess made a mistake. We got up and moved to another table. While we had her attention, we asked for water and she shared she was in the middle of a shift change and to be patient. We said ok... we've been waiting a bit now. She proceeded to tell us "give us 5 minutes... it's up to you!" She was rude, demeaning and obviously bothered by the request of water?? I said I guess we will leave. Unbelievable!!! Won't be back. Please get your management trained to treat people as they would like to be treated. read more

Came in for the first time to have lunch on Friday (yesterday). First I noticed the incredible Ambiance in the restaurant. We were sat next to where you can look through the glass and see the chefs working in the kitchen which was so cool. Our server Amy was truly spectacular from start to finish. If she didn't mention she was still in training, my wife and I would have never known. She explained everything we would need/want to know bc as first time guests. We went with her recommendations on the food and everything was just as great as she made it sound. This restaurant really knows what they are doing. I will be telling my friends, neighbors, and colleagues to come check Haywire out! I went to Haywire last Friday and was severely disappointed with what happened and the lack of apology we received. My wife and I ate with two other couples and we all ordered food at the same time. After an hour, the other couples received their food, but we did not. I noticed two plates get delivered to the table next to us (a family of 6 who arrived 40 min after we had arrived). I had ordered the meatloaf with broccolini instead of green beans and my wife ordered the chili. Sure enough, the table next to us had our food. It took about 10 minutes for me to get up to go get someone to come to our table as no one had come by and we still had not received our food. I explained what happened and our waiter (who admitted he wasn't supposed to be our waiter) said he would get on it. By this time, the other two couples were done eating and we were all wanting to leave as we had been there for an hour and a half already. Our food was finally brought to us at around 9:45 when we had arrived at 8 for an 8:15 reservation. My order was incorrect as it did not have the broccolini and had the green beans instead. I told our waiter and he said he would be on it. The broccolini never came. To add to the circus, the table next to us ended up getting a second serving of meatloaf and chili. I don't usually ask for a comp, but the restaurant didn't even offer a discount on the food. I thought this was unacceptable after dealing with extraordinarily long wait followed by not even getting what I ordered. I don't think I will give this restaurant a chance again. Extremely unorganized and they can't even offer an actual apology. read more

This restaurant is .. how should I put this... simply gorgeous! We were at the bar on second floor for a good 3 hours. All of us thought the food was amazing. We had chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak and the steak salad. We ordered all four of their desserts!.. the bread pudding and chocolate cake were the best! The cocktails were pretty darn good too! As busy as the bar staff were that nights, the service was superb! Shout out to James, thank you for your hospitality and all the recommendations. My cousin was telling me about this place so I, of course, had to come try it! Everything from the establishment to service to food was amazing! It's such a beautiful place. The first floor is a beautiful bar area and the upstairs is dining. Great for date nights or just to go out and grab drinks with friends. We sat upstairs and ordered the Chefs 'Favorite 4' as a starters. You get a little bit of everything. My favorite was the fried tomatoes! MOUTH WATERING! Omg, I wanted to make that my entree! I ended with the BbQ Ribs and my boyfriend the Chicken Fried Steak. Both entrees were amazing. Personally, I should have gotten them chicken fried steak. I liked that one better than the bbq ribs but they were both very flavorful! The Mac-n-cheese great! My 1.5 yeesr old approved of it! We ended it with the whisky cake. It was so good I didn't even get a chance to take a picture. We dug into it before I had a chance. lol. Definitely recommend this place and will for sure be going back! read more
